"It can't be true!"
I looked at her eyes, it was trying for me, a reason to say, and I asked, smiling, "It's no time to joke. Please, would you mind if I see you sleep?"
While I was walking to the door, she asked me whether I was angry at her or not, wiping her tears on cheeks as I looked back. I stopped myself near the door, and she had some movements of her body, asking me to stay for more longer.
I sighed, ignoring the eye contact, "Goodnight, Harini!"
I shut the door.
"Why did she lie to me?"
I leaned against the door, wondering about how much she has gone through the toughest times to tell a lie that she doesn't have parents.
"What sort of parents they are!"
When I turned around to open the door to ask her why she did lie, daringly, something made me stop right there, at that moment. Even if I asked her to spit out everything, she would definitely, answer me anything but, she kept that secret for something, and I should respect it by all means.
"Let's get back to our place!"
I walked down, and dropped me on the sofa, comfortably.
"Now, I know who he is! Let's sleep."
The moment I closed my eyes, my sleep took me out to the moon. It was too dust to see what was around me. A little far from me, I saw someone as the dust fading away. When I started walking towards that someone, their long blonde hair blew by the strong wind.
"This hair?" I lowered my brows.
"It reminds me of someone."
Soon, I found that someone was no other than a girl with a white shirt under a black leather waistcoat and a short skirt. Suddenly, she was disappearing or more likely, forming a water shape.
When I put my hand on her shoulder, I felt the water.
"Prachi!" I called confusingly.
There was no response from her. The fear went through my nerves as if I was living in a demons country. All of a sudden, it turned over and fell on me.
"Ah!" I gasped.
When I opened my eyes, clearly, I saw the hell of big bucket water has thrown on me.
"What the fuck!" I said, wiping the water on my face.
"It's 12:30 p.m. already!" Bhargav said, holding the other filled bucket into the bathroom.
I got up from the couch and yelled at Bhargav for that stupid activity.
"I was just waking you up!" he said from the bathroom.
"Thanks for waking me up like this!" I frowned.
"You woke up at the first experiment itself!" someone said from the dining table, chewing.
I looked that side and smiled, "When did you come?" I asked, looking at the water flowing through my body to the floor.
"Eww! You are wet. Go and bath," said Prachi.
I saw my clothes and asked her whose idea it was. She proudly announced her name standing on the dining chair and clapping for self-satisfaction.
"Bravo! Bravo!" she said, flying kisses.
I grabbed one of her flying kisses and walked to her. She was staring at me all the way. I put my one hand on her neck and the other on her butt and made her lean ninety degrees in my arms, for a comfortable smooch. A little air was passing in between the lips.
"Go ahead!" she whispered.
I nodded and rubbed my body on her. With the help of me, she became wet as well. She got frustrated.
"Ah!" she shouted, walking upstairs.
"I dressed well for some reasons, and you made me wet! Fucking retarded!" she yelled at me.
"Now, I have to wear Harini's dress!" she added.
I was laughing out loud, and suddenly, my face turned into serious.
"Some reasons?"
"Yes, it is!" said Bhargav, coming to me with his shoes.
"What is that some reasons anyway?" I rolled my eyes on Bhargav as he sat on the couch, wearing his shoes.
"I don't know," he said.
"Liar!"
After he has done; he relaxed his back and questioned, "Why will I lie to you? Huh? Are you my girlfriend?"
I smiled, looking at him and said, "Don't feel jealous that I have a girlfriend!"
He pointed to the bathroom and said, "Bathroom is right there!" laughingly.
"There must be a holiday for us this weekend!"
"What is the month, Bhargav?" I asked, searching for a calendar stick on the wall.
"September, why?" he asked.
"I just–" I paused, picking up my phone, instead.
I looked for the dates of the holidays.
"Today is the 16th of September, 2015."
"17th?"
I saw Ganesh Chaturthi on that date.
"Hurrah!" I screamed.
"Why are you shouting?" Prachi asked, coming down to the hall.
"Prachi, it's–"
"Do you like the pink colour? It's–" I paused, looking at her dress.
When she asked me to complete my words, I forgot.
"Anyway, moving on!" I turned me to Bhargav.
"Do you people know what is tomorrow?" I asked joyfully.
"Hmm!" they both answered.
Prachi sat next to him.
I lowered my brows and asked them to answer me. They were both looking at each other blank faces.
I started dancing and revealed, "Tomorrow is Ganesh Chaturthi!"
My dance wasn't like a Salsa but, it was surely like the Africans' dance.
While I was in my dancing mood, I heard Prachi asking him five hundred rupees because he lost the bet on me.
"What was the bet about?"
"I know you'll bluntly tell the answers even if we don't answer after you ask," Prachi said.
"When did you keep the bet on me?"
Bhargav pulled out his 500rs and gave it to her, glaring at me.
"Huh?" I confused.
She joined my dance; kept her arms on my either shoulders and said, "Through the eyes!" she winked.
"Let's hurry! The car has arrived!" Harini appears on the front door, said to everyone.
"What, a car?" I asked her, looking behind.
"Why a car?"
"Prachi!" she smiled.
"Ok! come fast."
Prachi hit my head and blamed me for her stupid smile.
"Is it really looking good on me?" Prachi asked, worrying.
"You are beautiful anyway for me!" I kissed on her forehead.
"I'll go and change my dress! Wait," I said, running to my bedroom.
"No! No! You can come like this."
"I have to," I said, smiling.
"Nothing matters anymore. The one who looks at you is telling you to come, then why do you even bother?" Prachi smiled.
I blushed.
"Do I know where we are heading? Anyway, who cares if I don't know?"
"Do not talk like that!" she warned.
"I have packed a lot from this morning to eat while we travel," she said, wearing a bag.
"It was right behind me all the time," I chuckled.
"It's heavy!" she said, breathing slightly heavy.
Car horns continuously.
"Ragh! We're getting late," she shouted.
"What a beautiful day to start!"
While I was walking towards the car, I asked all of them, where the fuck we were heading.
"Wow!" wide-eyed.
The car, I wished for was in front of me, and that name was Hyundai Genesis Sedan.
"Who booked this?" I surprised.
"Just get in!" they said.
Harini sat beside the driver, and Bhargav in the back seat. Prachi kept the bag in the dickey got into the car.
I bent down a little and asked, "When did you get in, Bhargav?"
"While you were kissing–"
"Get in the car, already!" Harini said, annoyingly.
It wasn't that Harini, I saw last night. She was gentle and polite in words.
"No, you people go. I'll stay at home," I said, waving at them.
"Don't spoil the mood, Raghav!" Bhargav shouted.
I ignored his words and asked them to leave but, when I made eye contact with Prachi, her eyes requested me to come. That was the first time I saw something she wanted, badly.
"Ok!" I smiled and got into the car.
We smiled at each other. Might be it just a yes for me but, for her it meant everything.
I asked, "Happy now?"
She felt shy and moved her eyes to the front.
"I love you!" I whispered.
She leaned her face on my shoulder and whispered, "I love you too!"
When I held her arms in mine, I had no idea why but it felt good. I realised that we lacked good times in love.
"This is why she asked me to come."
"Thank you for coming!" she whispered, exhaling.
Suddenly, Harini turned back to tell me where we were heading.
"Oh!" she amused as she sat back, comfortably. "I forgot that we have love birds!"
I moved me a little front to her and pleaded for her to tell me where we were heading.
"Lonavala!" they answered
