A girl passed by us, "Yes, this is what I call beauty on the earth," I said.
"She's perfect for a queen in my kingdom," I blushed.
"Then what about yesterday's girl?" Bhargav asked as he lowered brows.
"You saw an angel in her," he added.
We sat on the parked bike near Bhargav's apartment and staring at every girl who crosses us. His apartment had some of the most beautiful girls. As it was summer, I could see every girl and chose one of them. We just completed our 11th exams and waiting for real-time efforts. The 12th will tell us how much we are ready for life. I passed with an above average percentage, and so did him. In those times, making a girlfriend was a passion for all the singles. I looked at my watch, and it showed us at 6 p.m. One more girl passed us.
"She's mine too," I smiled at him.
"Why don't you make a cricket team?" he chuckled.
I was searching for perfect love in his apartment. It was like now or never slogan in my heart because I would get jealous by seeing an ugly guy with his beautiful girlfriend stick like two chewing gums. Bhargav never showed any interest in girls, and I would tease him every time to get his penis sewed. It was an aura of Facebook online love. Everyone was busy chatting with someone who never saw themselves. An online love made every girl's eyes on the mobile.
"Bhargav, why don't we try our love on Facebook?" I suggested.
He giggled.
"Why are you laughing?" I asked.
"Didn't you hear?" he chortled.
"Surya loved a girl on Facebook."
"Interesting! What happened next?" I asked, curiously.
"Her name was Angel Priya," he said.
He hi-fived, and we laughed.
"Did he find out?" I asked.
"Nobody informed him yet," he clarified.
My watch reminded the time to go home.
"I've to leave, Bhargav!" I said and left.
While I was walking on the footpath for home, I received a message from Facebook. As I opened the Facebook app and logged in, there was a friend request. The name was Aadhya Desai.
"Name looks real," I said to myself.
"I can trust her."
It was shocking for me that a girl sent a friend request and also, an enthusiasm that a girl sent me a friend request.
"But if I accept her now, then she will think that I'm like others," I said to myself.
As I reached home, I sat on the sofa and started staring at the mobile. I suggested my heart to wait for some time, but it couldn't stop my hand. My nerves made a move and clicked the decline button.
"What I did?"
I searched her name as soon as possible and sent her a friend request. She accepted within a second.
"Finally!" I relieved.
That wasn't it.
"Who will message first?" I asked myself.
Boy's nature is very kind. Even if we message first, we don't get offended by ego. So, I picked my mobile and opened messenger box and texted her,
Me: Hi
Me: Do you know me?
I pushed the send button and placed my mobile in the earlier spot. While I was staring at the screen, my mom entered into the hall.
"Why these people even stay in this house," I provoked as I walked to my bedroom.
"What is wrong with you, Ragh?" she shouted.
I banged the door.
"Raghav! It's hurting me," she said.
"Who cares?" I muttered.
My screen popped up. It was from Aadhya Desai.
Aadhya Desai (•Active now)
Aadhya Desai: Hi! I do know you.
Me: How?
Aadhya Desai: Hm.
I was like, "What hm?"
I got that she was not going to answer my question. So, I clicked her profile and saw my school name in her bio. As I scrolled down the page, I found a mutual friend and that was Akhila. Akhila was my best school friend. From the beginning of my schooling, we were in the same class. To know more about that "known for and an unknown for me girl", I messaged Akhila. It was my luck that she was active now.
Akhila (•Active Now)
Me: Hey!
Me: Who's this Aadhya Desai?
Akhila: Hi! She's our schoolmate.
Me: but I never saw her.
Akhila: Are you a watchman or an attendee?
Me: Like hell! I was famous in our school, don't you know?
Akhila: You became famous because of Harini. She was gorgeous.
Me: Stop now!
Akhila: By the way, why did you ask about Aadhya?
Me: Okay, Bye!
I said and shifted to Aadhya's chat. There was a message from her.
Aadhya Desai: You were the one who loved Harini, right?
For a second, I thought Akhila was speaking the truth.
"No way!" I told myself.
We texted some new friends stuff, and later I asked her for a picture.
Aadhya Desai: Why do you want my photo?
Me: I want to know how beautiful you are.
Aadhya Desai: Aha! Flirting?
Me: This is just the beginning.
Aadhya Desai: Haha! I'll send you in the evening, ok?
Me: It's 6:45 p.m. Now, send me.
A message popped up from Akhila.
Akhila: Her name is Prachi, not Aadhya.
Me: So, what? I don't care about the name. I started loving her.
Akhila: What are you saying?
Me: Is she single?
Akhila: Haha! Yes, good to go.
I wanted to clarify about her relationship status.
Aadhya Desai: No, never.
Me: Every girl is born for someone. Maybe, you're mine.
Aadhya Desai: Excuse me!
Me: Yes, my Aadhya.
Aadhya Desai: I won't fall for anyone, do you understand?
Me: Yes, all the girls say the same words.
Aadhya Desai: No, I'm not.
Me: Wow! This one is too.
Aadhya Desai: Huh! Whatever.
Me: Let's have a bet then.
Me: Are you into this challenge?
Aadhya Desai: Ok! Yes, I'm in.
Me: Think about it, I never lost.
Aadhya Desai: Then this will be the first time for you.
