Chapter 1 - Prologue

Throughout the ages, Humanity has never ceased to progress.

As long as they had a goal to achieve, a dream to reach. Humans were unstoppable.

Then why did Humanity felt the need to live separated ? Why did Humans chose to hide themselves, in their peaceful lands while there was so much to discover ?

1000 Years Ago, Humanity was pushed to the brink of exctinction. That's why Humans had to retreat back to their lands. That's why they felt that it was better to live simple lives, to feel safe in the protection of their Gods.

Sadly it is known, that Human are greedy creatures. Even when they had everything they needed, they wanted more. And it's even worse when because of their owns faults, they come to think that they should care only about themselves.

After countless years of internal wars, Humanity was separated in four countries. Humans just couldn't accept the fact that some people were different then them.

Yet, even after the wars stopped, Humans still had problem. What better way to fix those problems than by thinking that superior beings would fix them for you ?

That's how Humans started to worship the Gods. Beings of incredible powers, that could save them from seemingly nothing and only ask faith in return.

There was Four Human Countries, so it was only logical that their would be four great Religions. Humans never felt the need to name these religions, it was a blasphemy to give them names. But they were quite good at naming pretty much anything that came from said religions.

That's how the world came to be. A single Continent, on which could be found four countries, inhabited by Humans that worshipped different Gods.

Just like that, many thought that peace would last forever. The Gods were there for them after all. Demons and Monsters had stopped their unending assaults. The Four countries had ceased their meaningless wars, they were content with the territories they had.

But Peace ? That was simply ludicrous to think Humans wanted that.

Peace only lasted until Humans found something truly magnificient.

A land, a pure land that was never even once explored by any intelligent beings. Be it Monsters, Demons, Angels or Humans.....They didn't even know it existed, even when said land was located at the center of the continent.

What did they do when they discovered this Land ? They tried to force their ways inside, it was only logical, the Gods never told them they couldn't enter.

And it started again.....Wars, for decades, centuries even! Yet no one could enter, not even Angels could put a foot on this land without dying.

But one day, things changed. Throughtout the Continent, powers started to move, plans were made, schemes were prepared......Nothing would be the same, everyone could feel it.

(East of the Continent)

The East of the Continent was a beautiful place, that was for sure. The only problem was the gigantic desert that would stop any stranger from entering the Eastern Kingdom. But if one was strong enough to cross this desert...They would find a breathtaking view.

Mountains so high they seemed to pierce the sky. Lakes made out of pure, crystal clear water. But strangers weren't coming to this part of the continent for that. They were coming for the biggest market in the entire world.

It was so gigantic that one wouldn't even see the end of it. Shops and stalls stretched on kilometers, and that's exactly why there was so much people coming to this particular place.

Merchants were shouting at the crowd, trying to attract potential customers while some knight were patrolling on the streets, watching the crowd and making sure that no one could even attempt to steal something from the shops, and it seemed that someone still had the courage to do just that.

"HEY YOU THERE!!! STOP THIS INSTANT!!!"A guard standing in front of a stall shouted, attracting the attention of passersby. He started to run in the crowd, pushing every single person that dared to be on his way. Two of his subordinates followed him, apologizing to the few nobles that were offended by their captain, while they glared at the orphans that littered the street.

They didn't even know why their Captain had started to scream randomly, but with so much people in front of them, they couldn't even see if he was really pursuing someone. Which he actually was doing.

The captain, a tall and burly man, was running behind a hooded individual that was definitely smaller than him by a large margin.

"STOP RIGHT THERE YOU THIEF!!!! DON'T YOU DARE IGNORE AN ORDER FROM A KNIGHT OF GANESHA!!!!" The captain continued to ran after the thief, but his ragged breath was an indication of how tired he was. He may be a Knight, and a captain at that, but he wasn't a stamina freak like the kid in front of him.

"J-Just you w-wait! When i-i c-catch y-y-you...." And just like that, for unknown reasons the Knight dropped to the ground, unconscious. If he had been a little more vigilant, he would've seen the purple gas that was coming from the hooded figure while he chased after him. Said figure turned around and looked at the Knight.

"*Sigh* He sure took his time to fall. Atleast i hope i can take his money before those two dumbasses come." The figure crouched in front of the man, and started to search any money that the Knight could had on him. Instead of that, the figure found a letter.

"......Orders from the Queen herself? Damn, things sure are moving. I don't like this at all" The figure shook it's head, revealing his/her green eyes that were barely hidden.

She continued to read the letter until she heard distant screams.

"CAPTAIN!!!!"

"WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU CAPTAIN ?!!!"

The figure cursed and was about to run away when it felt it. But she wasn't alone, every single person in the continent felt it.

An extremely deep rumble, as if the world itself was moving. And only a few seconds after this.

"What t-the....."

They all could clearly see it, no matter where people were, they could see it. A pillar of light that was shot directly at the sky. A pillar of Holy Light.......Coming from the Land that ever single Human wanted to explore.

The Holy Land!
