Jake cough and tried to stand, "Tell me…. did you perhaps went to the village of Surok?" The warrior smirked, "I did not man! I was out for this shit! If I was fucking went there, I will gonna ravish those innocent lasses!" then the warrior laughs lustfully then stare towards Jake, "Gotta do what you gotta do…Gonna kill you!" The man immediately uses charge skill towards Jake' direction. When he was about a meter away from Jake he uses cleave but Jake was already casting wind gust which hit the warrior's face and made him flinch for a bit and out a balance. Jake lunges and hits the warrior's right eye. The warrior screams because of pain but manages to jump back while holding his right eye to stop the bleeding. He was closing his right eye when he felt that the person in front of him seems different, "How...when did you became a high tier!?" Jake was already throwing the 30cm fireball and hit the warrior's location. The warrior uses charge skill to evade it but Jake was already cast water ball and engulf the head of the warrior when he was stationary. When he panic Jake immediately uses Javelin, which hit the warrior's forehead. The warrior's eyes were still in shock while his body is kneeling on the ground. Jake remove his spear and a burst of blood gush from the hole.
Jake was checking the guy's small bag and saw several trinkets but useless to him. The two vials of red mane potion are broken. Jake check the back of the corpse and found nothing. He checks his right deltoid and saw a tattoo. The tattoo looks like an X with vines of thorns in circling the lines of the letter. Jake doesn't remember this tattoo appeared in the game but he remembers seeing one, a few weeks ago in the village of Surok. It was one of the people who was talking and holding a torch and illuminated his hand which made the tattoo on the dorsum of his back visible. Of course, during that time he only saw it due to the small open spaces in the window.
Jake went back to where Terry and the others located. It only took him a few minutes to return and saw Terry was sloughing while the acolyte was casting Feather of light. The feather can cause burn damage once it will make contact with the skin. Jake saw the superficial burn on Terry right forearm. The acolyte smirked, "May the God burn you!" then looks towards the shocked expression of Diane.
When Jake saw her expression, Jake knew that this bastard already told her. In the game when the Erudite warrior was about to kill her, they divulge the information that Bishop Renee was the one who hired them to kill her for what reason the killer did not know.
The acolyte smirked towards Diane, "You are just a daughter of a slut! You were conceived by mistake! Maybe your father wants to dispose of you to have a clean slate, after all, he is one the best candidate to become a Cardinal. You should at least be proud of him at least we can deliver you to our patron Goddess. "
Jake was about to use the Javelin skill but had to stop because he realized that the acolyte is using the Aegis shield. Annael saw Jake at the entrance of the cave and was relieved that he was alive. Annael saw Jake open his mouth and point the acolyte. He also saw Terry uses his knife throwing skills but the Aegis shield just prevented it then Annael understand Jake's gestures.
The black hair man charge towards Annael's direction and shouted, "That is an insult you know! It seems like you belittling me by glancing all over the place." The black hair man raises his sword and immediately a fire wrap his sword and then he uses charge again, a meter away from Annael he uses the Perigon skill. Annael manage to jump back which hit the fuller part of his sword.
Annael was surprised that the man was the same as him. The black hair man laughs, "Surprise! That I don't have same set of weak skills from the town?" then he smirked, " Anyway! You don't have to know about this! You will die soon anyway!"
Annael smirked then lifted his sword, bluish energy incircles his sword and releases then he energy by slashing horizontally towards his opponent. The black haired man was surprised and manage to pierce the sword on the ground and use it as an anchor. The force was strong enough to almost lift him.
After releasing the wing blast skill, Annael uses charge and stop at least 4-5 meters away from the acolyte and uses Sonic scream which shattered the protective barrier. The Acolyte was shocked for a bit and was about to cast another Aegis shield but Jake's spear is already pierced from the occipital area towards the frontal area.
The black hair man saw the spear and immediately locate the direction where it came from and saw Jake calmly walking towards Terry and handed him the chi balm. The man glare at Jake and said, " I should have killed you first!" them he was surprised when he felt that the energy emitting from Jake is stronger, "You were just low tier awhile ago!" then he look towards Annael and laugh, "elven halfling became a heretic? No one will gonna accept you!" The man grab the 7 vials of red man potion and drink all of it. After a few seconds the man body double in sized. All his hair is now falling, his eyes became bloodshot while he glared towards Jake. He then uses his sword and uses the flame Rod skill which he uses awhile ago.
Jake calmly said, " Terry…..go around and use your scissors cut ability at the back of his neck." Terry immediately uses sidestep skill and move around. Annael saw Terry dashing towards the opponent's back, then he immediately uses the wing blast which staggers the bald man. Jake cast fireball and lob it towards the bald warrior's face. He screams of pain but halted when his head was already rolling on the ground. His body was shaking due to blood loss then fell on the ground, bath with his own blood. Terry jumps backward then walk calmly to Jake's direction.
Jake saw Diane's dead expression, "Care to tell me, what did that two told her.?"
