One can see the fear in his eyes. "What happened?" Kara handed the written note to Jake. Jake open the note:
"To my son, I will be away for a long time. I am not sure if I will be able to come back. I place 10 gold for you to go to the City Of Rakhun. It may take you 2-4 months to arrive to that place. As soon as you receive and read this letter, please immediately leave this place and don't trust the Count. If Marfin is still there, your friend's parent please leave with them or Jake if he still alive, please go with them"

Jake handed the letter to Marfin. Marfin curses Guryu, "So, he was also investigating this event?" Jake nodded, "It seems that he knows where to start looking. " then he sighs. Jake asked the others to check each house if there are people left behind.
It was already passed 12 when they finished checking each house in the town, there are more children than he expected to be. According to their stories their parent did not come home since 5 days ago. Jake could not help by shows empathy to these children. Some of them did not even eat, just waiting for their parents to come because the town guard will arrest them if they roam around asking for help or beat them to death. There is even a 9-year-old child barefooted carrying his brother on her back. The dirty blond hair little girl did not cry but her brother is crying. The poor girl hugs the little boy until he stops. One can see that the girl's eyes are fluffy. She was been crying alone and appeared strong for the sake of his brother. Jake faintly smile and thought, there was a saying hard times create strong men and women. Jake inspected the little boy and say 17 cm lacerated wound on the trunk. He could almost identify who the suspect is, must be one of those town guards. He glances towards Diane and Diane's seems to understand. She approached the child to heal it bu the little girl grabs Diane's hand and said, " We don't have money." Diane was surprised, "I am not asking for anything." The little girl sniff, " but the Deacon's told us that we need to pay for 1 gold to cure his wound.....that is why it was not cured early because we don't have money." Jake saw Diane's eyes have a hint of anger, she place both of her hands on her thing and shakenly form a first then she took a deep breath and said, " I am not that Deacon." Then she proceed to heal the little boy.
The remaining residents gather at the entrance of the town, there are at least 80 of them, at least 60 are children below 10 years old. Jake bid farewell and walk towards the center of the town.
"Terry, can you use your dust flick?" Jake asked. Terry nodded after the skill was used, Terry frowned, "I only saw the footsteps of those people earlier. No other hidden places or unusual markings." Jake nodded and thought, it seems that some mage is using a concealing magic or maybe the count hired rune inscriptors.
As far as Jake remember, in the game there are at least 4 openings to that dungeon. 1st and 2nd entrances is located inside the house and courtyard of Count Ragner. The third one is just under the hunter's hut which I don't where it is and lastly was at the center of the town. In the game usually adventurer enters the dungeon entrance in the town during the night, to avoid being caught by onlooker or town guard. Jake look around and recalled that the entrance is located at least 60 steps diagonally from the front door of the Adventurer Guild. Jake was already at the 60th step, he brush off the dirt on the floor and saw a small hole, hole fit enough for his index finger. He pokes it and the ground shakes a little. He jumps back and the ground where he was standing before move sideways and stairs going below can be seen.
Terry was surprised when he sees such event and also disappointed of his own capability. He is aslayer, this is supposedly his forte.
As they are walking, The place becomes darker and darker. Terry grabs a stone from his small pouch and chant something. The stone faintly glows at least 2-3 meters are covered by the light. Jake remember this stones is basic among rune inscriptionist, they place firefly magic on the stone by carving it.
They are walking for almost an hour now when they hear a wailing sound. Terry was about to run towards its direction but Jake blocked him with his right hand, "Be cautious." Jake walks slowly and saw a black haired woman lying on the floor facing towards the ground. Terry still keep his 4-meter distance, " Are you alright madam?" The woman keeps on wailing, until she heard Terry's voice, she looks up and faintly smiles. The woman tried to stand up and she wobbles, Terry was about to help and again for the second time but Jake block him with his right hand, "Don't" Terry was confused but still trust Jake because based on his experience, Jake will not stop him unless there is a reason. The woman turn his back and started to walk towards the path where Jake was facing. The woman was wobbling when she walks, "young man, what are you guys doing in this place?" The woman keeps on walking until they arrive in a 10 square meter room. The woman keeps on asking, "What are you guys doing in here?" Jake and Terry remain silent. The light stone flickers several times. The woman cough some blood, " I don't like that stone….it really hurts my eyes" The woman did not face them, "Hey…handsome….would like turn off that light?" The woman's head started to shake. Jake can hear the cracking sound of the bones every time her head shaking.
After a few seconds, it stops then slowly, her head turned around facing them. Her right eyeball pops up and fell down, viscous dark red blood is coming from her right orbital fissure. Terry's eyes widened and his hands were shaking.
Some of the woman's skin peeling off, some part of the body Jake can see some muscles. Jake noticed that the putrid smell is now lingering in the air. The woman sat down and keeps on moaning. She open her thigh which exposes her vagina. She uses her right two fingers to retract the labia. The woman is looking towards Terry, "Come here young man.." the woman giggles, "Use your sword to pierce mine.."
Jake saw Terry was blushing and now drooling and was about to walk towards the woman. Jake realized what is happening and lightly hit Terry's occipital area which is at the back of his head. "What the hell!?" he confusedly asked Jake. Jake point the woman in front of them and to Terry's horror, the woman is repulsive to look at. "How?" Terry was confused. "That woman uses a smell a potion which she spray it around her body, it is similar to a charming skill. Although it's just a mortal realm, mid-grade potion, it is very effective for virgins." Terry flushes and raises his eyebrow," virgin? You're telling me, you already fuck someone before?" Jake did not say anything and all of the sudden something shoot from the woman's vagina, Jake immediately repel it using his spear then Jake and Terry jump backward.
When they regain their balance they saw the woman body coiled by a 10 feet centipede. The woman vomited black blood. The blood on the ground started to expand until it became 4 feet tall. It has a putrid smell, formless body. The woman keeps on shouting and ran deeper into the dungeon.
Jake remembers that he is now facing a bloody formless Goo also known as slime. Each slime can find in nature or created like this one. The problem with slime is that there are invulnerable to any physical attack unless it is imbued with magic with a specific element. Magic attack can also be absorbed unless it is there weakness, this one weakness is light. Jake cast fireball, the moment it hit it, it exploded but the slime absorbed and it getting bigger.
All of a sudden, the wall on the right side of the room crumble and a muscular man uses charge but manages to stop about half a meter from the slime. The hammer shine and he smash the slime. Not a single remnant from the slime can be found. Every bits and piece of the slimes are burning, more like purifying.
Terry smile, "Guryu! Thanks God!" Jake stared at the hammer, " smite skill….." then he looks at Guryu and murmured, " A Crusader…"
