The principal opens the door and the class is stopped. A teacher in the middle of the room calls me forward by waving his hand so I go to him.
"Hello, Luis. I'm Mr. Sullivan and I'm the History teacher," he whispers to me
"Hello."
He turns to speak to the class
"Everyone, this is your new classmate!" He turns to me, "Introduce yourself."
"I'm Luis."
The class is silent right after. Did I say something wrong?
"...Don't you think that was a bit short?"
So that's what it was?
"It was long enough for me."
"Ok...You can go sit down," he says as he points to the back corner sit.
A lot of different presences here I see. There's a crazy powerful one upfront, she has blonde hair, a decent sized bust, and blue eyes. Right behind her is Vanessa and next to Vanessa is the guy who I met when I went shopping the other day. Other than that the rest are people I don't know at all...
...Actually, those two guys who live next door to us are sitting right in front of me. I sit on my desk and look upfront. I can see one thing, the female to male ratio is quite somethings. Other than the guys I know there's one other guy in this class and me, in a class of roughly 20 people. So this is how the whole academy is?
There are also some pretty colorful heads here too. Do they go through mutation or some shit after they acquire power? Who knows... I sit down and look upfront.
"Alright then, let's continue. In this history course, you will be expected to..."
He continued to give a speech on History and what was expected of us a student. Finally, after a history lesson, a math lesson and a little of science the bell rang. Right after the class finished I was rushed by four of my classmates.
"Where did you come from?" (???)
"What is your affinity?" (???)
"What is your schedule like?" (???)
"Why are you wearing a jacket? It's so hot." (???)
Is this what they call the transfer student effect in anime? I sigh. I don't want to deal with them, what can be a good excuse to get out of here...
"Now, now girls. I'm sure he's overwhelmed with what you girls are saying. Give him some time" (Allen)
It's this guy again, there's something about him that still throws me off. It looks like he shut them up, well not that forcefully. But it seems that he holds a lot of influence in the class. If that's the case... is he nice the same way Argus was nice?... I want to somehow confirm it.
"I guess we did rush over a little bit." (???)
"Yeah, we'll get to know him gradually anyway." (???)
"Yes, I have to leave for my next class, I don't want to be late."(Luis)
"What do you mean, all our classes are here until Armament theory." (???)
"Not for me, so I'm in a hurry to get to my next class since I might not make it in time."
Well, I know where I am supposed to go based on the school's layout.
"So, would you like for me to help you to get to your next class?" (Allen)
I already know where to go for it... but it might be a good chance to find out his true intentions.
"Sure."
"Ok, then. I just need some stuff and I'll be right back."
He goes back to his seat and passes by telling something to the girl who directed me and the powerful one.
"Why did you have such a short introduction." (???)
Cause I don't feel like talking to you people.
"I could say the same about your introduction."
"Oh, shit. You're right. I'm Janet." Said a girl with blue hair and blue eyes.
"I'm Valencia," Said a girl with red hair and green eyes
"I'm Karen." Said a girl with white hair and blue eyes.
"And I'm Amanda." Said a girl with black eyes and blue hair.
Am I suppose to remember all of their names? I probably could if I tried but why bother doing so?
"Alright." (Luis)
Allen gets back from getting whatever she was getting. I don't see much of a change in what he brought back and he came back, actually did he bring back anything. All he did was pass by and say something to the two girls...
"Luis, should we go?" (Allen)
"Yes. See ya, girls." (Luis)
"Goodbye." (All three)
I walk over to Allen and we started walking outside the classroom.
"So, where are we going now?" (Allen)
"Room 223." (Luis)
"This way then... You're not very talkative are you."
"Most of the time no, but it's worse when the person next to me is a deceiving cunt."
I'll try to test the waters for a bit
"...What do you mean?"
I sigh...what if I wrong... I'll push a little more since I still feel that something is off. Maybe I'll get something out of it
"You can drop the kind act with me because I'm not going to fall to the nice guy act."
"..."
He hasn't answered is that a yes or no?... Is he worried that someone is hearing us?
"Don't worry, no one is around here. I can sense anyone within 25 meters."
He started laughing. His voice and demeanor do a 180.
"...How did you find out? Am I that obvious?"
...I see, so my intuition was correct. He's the type of person who acts nice to get on your good side but is scheming something in the background. Basically, he's like Argus. I hate his kind of people, that was probably the only reason why I was perceptive of that.
"No, not really, just three things."
"Would you so kindly tell me what those three things are?"
"And if I don't feel like it?"
"... Someone will have a miserable school life, you know."
"I couldn't care less about something like that, I already planned to distance myself from my classmates if that's what you're referring to. And if you're talking about beating me up then I couldn't care less."
"Really, what if I were to kill you to make sure nothing goes out of control?" He looks at me with an overly serious face almost hinting at the fact that he would seriously do it.
I chuckle and he shows a confused face.
"No, my bad. It's just that this is the first time in a while that someone threatened to kill me with no actual killing intent. This is what real killing intent feels like."
I show him some bloodlust and immediately he falls back and gets into a combat stance. The killing intent was extreme since he reminds me of Argus... I should calm myself, I'm not here to be his enemy and he's not Argus. The similarities pissed me off and I lose my rationale.
I touch my bracelet and calm myself down.
"...Well, you can probably tell I can't beat you. But that was a nice reaction."
He regains his composure but remains tense.
"...I see, so you just threatened to just kill me, do you have any idea who I am?"
"Yes, in all due likelihood someone whose family has a lot of accomplishments and is well known within the Magic soldiers." This explains why he told me his last name the first time we met. " As well as someone who holds an incredible amount of credibility." This would explain his kindhearted behavior. "And is trying to get with one of those girls up front." Which would explain why he's doing all of this. Well, I'm not exactly going to try to stop him either, this is his problem.
"... Am I that obvious?" He says as he shows a displeased face.
"No."
I'm just too cautious. An honest and kind man is sometimes something to be more fearful of than a lying bully.
"Then how-"
"We are about to get within the earshot of people, you probably don't want this to be heard don't you."
"Tch..." His voice and demeanor do a 180 again." We're finally here," he grabs my shoulder with his hand. "Hope you have a wonderful school life." He lets my shoulder go.
He'll probably start spreading bad rumors about me after this encounter, and it's his word, an extremely trusted person, against mine, a shady transfer student. I sigh, made an enemy out of the most influential person in the school on my first day, go me.
