Today is the day I was waiting for and it had finally come. They took us to the Jain International School through the bus. It was quite far away from school. I was sitting on the bus and getting worried about my performance, suddenly my phone rang. It was my dad who called at that time, he told me not to worry and also told me to give it the best shot. They called each sports players as a group to their courts. They called and told me to stand me in front of the court, there were 5 more players along with me. They told us that it isn't category wise but an open match. they told only 3 people can compete, 1in singles and the rest 2 in doubles. So they decided the players and they told me to compete in the doubles match. I agreed as I didn't have any other choice. The girl who played singles is my senior, she plays really well, she got the match till the finals. The finals were our match. Me and my partner discussed and came to an understanding. The first service I gave her the chance, she made it and the opponents missed the ball. We got 1 point, like that, we had to play 4 sets. We Won 3 games the opponents also won 3 games. If we win 2 more games, we will win. If they score it, they will win the finals. They won the game and scored 4 sets. My partner got completely worrying and felt that we were gonna lose, I told her to think positively and play with confidence. This match we made it and scored a 4..... We felt a bit better after winning the game, now we are at the tiebreaker, if we win this last game, gold is ours, if not, we'll get silver. Both the teams are up for the gold but only one will get it. This time I started the service, the first shot was really fierce, and it exactly bounced on the midline. Somehow again we landed on duce(40 all). Even one mistake loses gold. This time again I served it but I was with my plan, I served a really slow ball and told my partner to stay at the front, she gave a volley shot and they raised the ball high up in the air I waited for the perfect time and gave a really hard smash shot, they managed to resend the ball high but close to the midline, I acted like I was giving fastball but ended up hitting it really close to the other side of the net as I was in between the court. As they thought I was giving it hard, they went all the way to the service line. They literally ran so fast but no luck, the ball already bounced twice... I was so happy at that moment as my plan worked out. We won the match, that was one of the best moments in my life.....
