Seeing his the turbulent emotions in his eyes, Shi Yuhan didn't feel surprised at all and had expected this reaction. After all, being the daughter of the most powerful clan in the inner realm incites shock even to inner realm cultivators when they see her.
Seeing this type of reaction is something she has long gotten used to, so she remained indifferent and quiet so as to wait for him to calm down.
As for Bell Zhang, he was confused about literally everything that had so far progressed. He could only guess that they were communicating through an online channel, so he didn't interrupt.
When Qin Hong had sufficiently calmed down, he took a deep breath before looking at her once more.
"You were at the time artifact as well?"
"Of course, a dao grade artifact is sufficient to move my God Clan. My father's greedy nature prompted him to send me out to get it, while bring about a few members to eliminate others if necessary. Then it activated and here I was." She calmly answered without a ripple in her eye.
"So... what is your request?" Asked Qin Hong. She most likely didn't come all the way here just to tell him all this.
"I'd like to figure out a way back to the Cultivation Realm," she answered.
"This..." He hesitated as to whether or not tell her about the ring, before deciding not to.
"What is it? Tell me." Seeing the hesitation, her eyes turned sharp and tried to stare at his soul.
Avoiding her gaze, he decided to give her some information.
"While it is possible, I'm afraid that your father may not be alive anymore."
"Do explain," she said as she gave him sharp, cold eyes.
"First, let me explain what I've gathered about the 108 Galaxies..."
Qin Hong proceeded to explain the conjectures he had came up with based on the 108 Galaxies theory and the shape of the Cultivation Realm, that happens to fit in like putting a smaller circle within a larger circle.
After that, he explained his story of what had happened 2.5 million years.
In that, humanity has been existing outside the cultivation realm and probably had interactions with the Cultivation Realm cultivators. However, something massive happened and the Cultivation Realm was blocked off.
The spiritual energy and the heavenly dao were somehow sealed as well, causing the crash of humanity. Without spiritual energy and the heavenly dao, the Qi that exists within all also vanished from existence, leading to the great weakening of individual strength.
Without spiritual energy, Qi, or the heavenly dao, there was no cultivators to suppress the mortals, so they rose from the ashes on planet Earth and spread out once again, leading all the way to current state.
While there was no great indicator of the Cultivation Realm closing before they time traveled into the future, he is certain that this is 2.5 million years later.
"But now that I think about it, there was some occasional rumors of trading outside the Cultivation Realm back then, but I just dispelled the rumors as nonsense as I was too focused on myself and my sect."
Qin Hong had to comb through his memories real hard, even the minor things, before remembering those occasional rumors.
(Authors Note: I had to put this in because it would take forever to search through the past chapters in order to change the plot to include this. Most of what you see comes from my mind, as the original plot has deviated so far that I can't really use any of the original plot aside from a few things. You can expect plot holes but I'll try to patch them up.)
But with that as evidence, it would add proof that they are still in the same universe. It would be for the both of them, but Qin Hong had conversed with Ring, the spirit of the artifact time machine. He had more proof than Shi Yuhan, so it didn't matter.
He was pretty sure that she knew a lot of what he had said, because she had absorbed the soul of the girl in the original body, or at least partially until she satisfies the girls basic wish.
Shi Yuhan went strangely silent as she directed her eyes to the tea cup in front of her. The tea had cooled down, but was still warm as she took a sip.
Staring at the tea for several minutes, she let out a deep sigh before looking at him deeply.
"I thought so."
"Wait, you already knew?"
"I can make some guesses based on the girl's memories and mine. You think I'm just a pampered girl who's too indulged in endless wealth?" She sent a minor cold glare at him which sent him into a slight panic.
"I-I never implied that. I was just speaking from my mind."
"..."
"S-so, what brings you over here at the GB Station?" He asked, changing the subject.
Reaching into her console, she pulled out a black card, just like his!
Shocked, he reached into his and pulled out a well!
Shi Yuhan finally showed some surprise in her eyes seeing the black card, including Bell Zhang who's eyes widened at his black card.
"What a coincidence." Said Qin Hong with a wry smile.
"Yeah." The surprise within her eyes vanished and returned to normal in an instant.
"Cough! I'd hate to break it to you both, but the grand event is closing down." Bell Zhang broke the duo's silence.
""What?""
Both of them looked at Bell Zhang in an instant.
