Bending down, she placed a cup of coffee before him on the glass table before taking a step back and stared at him coldly.
"After this, I would appreciate it if you leave for your place."
Oh Miyeon did not plan to let the man enter into her apartment, but when he sneezed outside, she hesitantly let him have a seat inside. After all, she could not take responsibility if he actually came down with a cold.
Without touching the cup of coffee before him, he raised his head to stare at her and questioned, "Wouldn't you be helping me out please, Miss Oh?"
The expression on his face caught her off guard completely. Gone was all the arrogance from before, and it was almost as if he was begging her desperately.
Most definitely, she was going to have a hard time declining him if he looked at her with those pairs of eyes. Instantly, she turned her head and shook her head. There was no way she was going to let herself get persuaded this easily.
With a second thought, there was no problem with her helping him on this. Although she said to Minjae that she had completely moved on from this, hearing this from him made her tempted.
However, his attitude was the biggest problem at here, and secondly, he had a fiancée. Although they weren't doing anything scandalous, she did not think any woman would be happy having her man do something similar to this.
"No," she said, "I have made up my mind. It's not easy to change it once I have done so."
"What if I tell you that there is something quite important that I have forgotten?" he asked.
'Don't get softhearted, Oh Miyeon! You can't. Even if he looks at you like at and uses that tone, you can't melt. This has nothing to you.'
"What about a psychologist? You are rich; you probably have no problem with hiring the best of the best," she vocalised, "Plus you shouldn't go around saying to some girl you barely know. You never know. I might take advantage of this and create something scandalous."
"I am not naive, Miss Oh," he said, "What would take it for you to agree to this? I am willing to do anything."
"Anything? You blurt those words really easily! Can you marry me? Give me some shares in your conglomerate?" she raised one of her eyebrows.
"I will be giving you things of equal value, so please help me out this time around," he stated.
Oh Miyeon found herself going into a deep thought at his sincerity. Her determination was slowly starting to tear away.
"Ah! I am pretty sure you have learned by now that your words won't work. Is that why you are looking at me like that? This seriously brings back memories," she spoke out, "Fine, I agree to it! Happy! But I have some conditions."
"Conditions?" he questioned.
She nodded her head and said, "I don't need anything of monetary value or marriage with you. Don't worry."
