Chapter 9 - Whiny brat

Miyeon folded her arms across her chest when she saw the familiar male getting down his black, high-end car. His black hair was meticulously brushed backward, and his face wore a nonchalant look, startling yet mesmerising all the females as he strided into the site.

His assistant followed after him, a male in thirties, wearing glasses, and ordered for a chair to be arranged for him. Not wasting a second, the staffs rushed forward and bought a chair for him. A teenaged male held an umbrella for him.

Cheerful Taejoon ran towards his brother and engulfed him in a tight hug. The older staffs were used to such actions while the newer ones were stunned by the male. It surprised them that the charming Taejoon also this childish side to him.

"Hyung, how did your day go?" Taejoon questioned after releasing his brother from the hug.

"Fine," Soobin replied, putting on a slight smile.

It appeared that the rumours were true. The aloof Min Soobin was really gentle to his younger brother. Soobin's smile managed to flutter the young maidens' heart, and Miyeon shook her head how people put such importance into look. Then again, his smile was truly uplifting. His smile could bewitch anyone despite of age and gender.

Pouting, Taejoon complained, "Hyung, why did you hire that bi- I mean, Miyeon as an artist here? I don't think her arts are that good."

Miyeon could clearly hear Taejoon tattletale to his brother; it seemed that he wanted her to hear everything on purpose. Convincing herself that it is not favourable, Miyeon stopped herself from going forward and knocking some sense into him.

"You have some problems with her?" Soobin asked, slightly surprised, since it wasn't normal for his brother to be straightforwardly rude to some young lady.

"She didn't respect me. Moreover, she actually had the guts to kick me and argue with me," Taejoon voiced out, "I was just trying to be polite with her."

That was it! There was a limit to how much of her reputation could be harmed, and it did not matter to her whether or not Soobin was there beside him.

Staring at Taejoon lying, Miyeon impulsively stepped forward, and despite it being clearly visible on her face that she wanted to slap the make hundred—if not, thousand— times, she put on a fake smile.

"Did you forget to mention to your brother about how you pulled my hair? If you forgot about it, I suppose Mr. Hyunwoo could explain it for you," Miyeon spoke out— slightly confused on where the sudden courage came from.

"I saw a big piece of chewing gum on your head, so I was trying to remove it," Taejoon smoothly lied.

"You could've just told about that to me. You could be mistaken as a pervert," Miyeon retorted with the smile not leaving her face.

"You're wrong. Except for a brute like you, it would be a honour to them."

"Don't call me a brute just because you're too weak to win a fight against me."

"Are you his ex?" Soobin asked, interrupting the ongoing arguement between Taejoon and Miyeon.

Taejoon pretended to choke on the air and cough for around five times while Miyeon rolled her eyes at the dramatic, immature guy.

"Hyung, which of my ex looked as scary as her?" Taejoon questioned, pointing at Miyeon.

"Well, I don't fancy inconsiderate brats either, and if you didn't notice, you're holding up the whole crew," Miyeon expressed.

The staffs mentally were grateful to Miyeon for saying it out loud since they were too frightened to notify them about it. After all, both the males were too powerful to offend.

"It's all because of you," Taejoon said to Miyeon accusingly.

Ignoring Taejoon's words, Miyeon walked back to the position she was previously stood at. Chatting with a whiny brat wasn't something she fancied.

"Hyung! You see how she behaves with me!" Taejoon exclaimed.
