"The dungeon of Arus is... Ahm..." Stella was standing there, sheepishly pondering on how to coin how dangerous the dungeon was. Her eyes darted around the room, looking for anything that she could use as a reference to describe the said place.
Grant was patiently waiting for her answer while looking at his stats. Skimming through information presented to him and gaining a better understanding of his current abilities.
"A cockroach!" Snapping her fingers, Stella exclaimed out loud and grant raised an eyebrow to what she just said.
"Right now... We are just cockroaches if we enter that dungeon the way we are right now."
"And you want me to help you dive as far as we can go inside a dungeon. Not just any dungeon but a dungeon for someone named Arus who probably was a world-renowned powerful figure. And you said that the things in there could easily crush us like cockroaches right?"
Grant was still examining his Status Window as he blurted out a question for Stella who grinned at him out of embarrassment. Grant chuckled before smiling and tilting his head back as he asked his master a question.
"Do you wish to die and drag me along with you?"
"It's not like that I swear! I have everything planned out and before we enter that dungeon I'll make sure we are at least level 50..." Stella explained in a hurried and embarrassed manner. Her plan to delve deep into that particular dungeon sounds impossible for any sane native of Terrunn but she believes that she would be fine.
If she wants for her wish to be fulfilled, she needs to work hard and take risks for it. She already knew that from long ago.
"Right... What level are you Stella?" Grant was curious. To have summoned him then Stella would likely be a high-level magician right?
"23..."
"Too low!" Grant exclaimed with widened eyes before he shook his head. Maybe his master is dozens of times stronger than him despite being a low level.
"What level are you then Sir High level..." Stella could only grumble. She felt belittled when Grant became shocked at her current level.
She had to admit she wasn't really that strong but she was confident on her spells! Levels don't dictate everything!
"I'm level 1!"
Stella froze upon hearing Grant.
"No way... This must be a joke right?" She couldn't help but ask Grant in a tone that seemed to be consoling of herself. She seemed to be telling herself that Grant was merely joking.
"You can look at my status window." The servant offered humbly and the master didn't waste time doing so.

"Hey, slave..." Casually calling the boy a slave irked him inside yet he was always calm. He didn't let things disturb him even if it was insulting.
"I'm a servant, not a slave... Yes?"
"Are you the offspring of some demon?"
Seeing Stella glare at him, Grant furrowed his brows.
"Your attributes aren't possible for a human! You have no class yet your raw numerical values are almost hero level! What in the world are you?" She couldn't believe that the boy standing in front of her was human. No. He was more of a monster to her eyes.
"As I've said before... I am Grant." The sunset haired boy merely waved dismissively at his master whose eye twitched before sighing in defeat.
She gestured towards him to follow her before she led him outside after donning the cloak that covered her whole body except for her face.
The bright sun shone on Grant's face, forcing him to shelter his eyes by blocking the sunlight with his hand. Upon having gotten used to the light, Grant took in the scenery and was mesmerized by it.
High walls surrounded and towered over most of the buildings presented before him. Grant could roughly estimate the height to be 10 meters tall at the very least.
Old and archaically designed buildings littered his vision. These buildings each served a different purpose and gave a medieval feel to them. Some were blacksmiths, inns and even alchemy shops which he had deduced from the symbols hanging outside the establishments.
People walked to and fro and wore dresses and baggy clothes consisting of boots, a long sleeve shirt, and a vest. While some people wearing leather or metal armor popped in every now and then. They were armed with cold weapons.
There were even some walking in the crowd that sported those pointy wizard hats while carrying staves that were either engraved with runes or had a crystal at the very tip.
Strange beasts were mounted by well-dressed individuals and people made paths for them.
Grant was taken aback. Seeing such sights were new to him.
For the first time in his life. He felt excited and the world seemed to hold more meaning to him.
"What's gotten into you dear servant?" Stella saw Grant dazedly looking at his surroundings like a child engrossed on a camping trip. She could only softly sigh and shake her head.
He was an otherworlder after all, it's fine for her to let him have his moment basking in the new world's glory.
She had the same reaction upon leaving the castle for the first time in her life. It was when her parents once took her out for hunting and testing her magic against monsters.
"Ehem..." Stella coughed lightly with a smile and Grant returned to his senses, coughing while a faint blush showed on his cheeks. It amused her to see the monster actually being embarrassed.
"What is the name of this world?" Grant asked, curious about the world after seeing everything.
A medieval-themed fantasy world was sure to have dragons. And Grant would make sure that he would ride one in the future.
"The world is named Terrunn and there are six continents on this world and six seas exist in it." Stella wasn't bothered about explaining things to Grant. It was her responsibility as his master after all.
"Where are we going anyway?" Grant asked while his attention was still somewhat drawn to his surroundings.
She ignored his clearly mesmerized state and answered him directly while grabbing Grant's arm, pulling him as she ran through the crowd.
Grant shook his head and obediently allowed himself to be dragged. He trusted the system and Stella's word that she would not harm him intentionally. So he trusted her and allowed her to lead him somewhere.
"We are going to the Adventurer's Guild! This large town is named Zirakib and it lies on the outskirts of the forest of shadows. I'll explain things in more detail but now we have to register you as an adventurer."
Grant listened carefully and could help but wrinkle his face into a bored one.
'Is there some universal rule that an adventurers guild would exist as long as it was a medieval fantasy world?' Grant sighed inwardly at such a thing.
Well, at least it makes things easier for him so he thought.
The two didn't stop running until they met a three-story high building. It was a half-timbered building that looked like it belonged once to an aristocrat as his manor.
An insignia made of shining silvery metal had a symbol of a dragon looming over a solitary sword, claws outstretched, showing up on each side of the sword. The dragon looked to be ready to tear the blade apart.
Yet the blade looked to be shining valiantly despite the danger it was facing. It left an impression on Grant to which he could nod on the guild owner's design choice.
"Don't lose your temper once you get inside. Just endure things alright Grant?" Stella softly warned Grant and he didn't understand but nodded anyway.
What could possibly lie inside the guild that would make him lose his temper? Thanks to the max level serene mind he was in a constant state of calmness and was protected from mental disturbances.
The large oaken guild doors standing a few meters tall parted after being pushed by Stella. And immediately, Grant found the answer to his thoughts.
Upon entering, everyone stopped whatever they were doing and stared at her face with obviously interested and hungry eyes. Some even licked their lips and wanted to come up to her.
Grant's mood immediately plummeted down from his earlier curious and excited state.
'Humans will be humans after all. Some disgusting and some so precious that you wouldn't expect them to come from the same race.' Grant was disappointed upon the truth of reality.
He had read a lot of cliche summoned hero novels and expected everyone to be nice with the occasional enemies popping up but it seemed that his hopes were a mere foolish dream.
"Hey, beautiful? Why won't you grab a drink with me and the boyz?" A smug blonde well-toned man walked up to block Stella's way to the reception, earning her ire and causing grant to remember a certain hypocritical asshole back from his class.
Stella ignored the man and Grant did the same. They both steadily paced forwards towards the counter but the man didn't seem to be fazed by the rejection and opted to draw closer to his target.
He even went as far as to hang his arm over Stella's shoulders. Making the girl shiver in fright and surprise from the blatant sexual harassment happening to her.
Grant's eye twitched and he decided to do something.
His decision would probably lead to making more enemies but he decided to go along with it anyway. Him showing his brute strength should act as a deterrent for anyone wanting to take advantage of his companion.
He swore to protect her and he counted sexual harassment against his client to be a form of harm. Plus, judging from Stella's earlier reaction and comments about him, he was strong based on this world's standards.
At least for this current place they were in.
"As I was saying. Babe, don't yo-" His words were cut midway as he found an arm tightly grasping his shoulder. His expression morphed into one of pain as he winced and laid off Stella who was stunned.
"Does having your eggs scrambled and fed raw to you sound like a good idea?" Grant's deep voice was laced with venom as he threatened the blondie.
His eyes became dull and listless and a smile parted his lips. He looked cheerful but to the man and everyone who stared at those eyes, they felt a chill run up their spines.
"Grant!" Stella called out to him in a hushed voice. Wanting him to stop but Grant ignored her.
He had things to do and Stella's concerns should be addressed later.
He has to fulfill his side of the deal on protecting Stella as said upon the contract.
He will make sure that anyone who tries to harm or touches his client loses their heads.
He smiled ever so softly at the man before proceeding to slap him.
And the man flew like a paper airplane and landed on the ground with a loud thud.
