Chapter 11 - Sacrificial Ritual

Looking at the God's blood in his hands Sky felt a little helpless.

His left arm just had to have a huge attitude and it never listened to him. Moreover it does not accept just any blood given to it.

It only accepts blood from a God level character. Otherwise you would have to feed it with blood essence of a monster which is stored in the monster's heart.

Sky had taken the opportunity of being inside the level one wolf king and absorbed its blood essence which made him a little stronger.

But he was helpless watching this blood, every time he looked at the God's blood he was reminded of the fact that his left arm's feeding cost was not easy to bear.

He shook his head as his left hand absorbed the God's blood. The left hand sucked the blood as soon as it was left free.

Sky felt his whole body strengthening again and now he felt that he could kill the level one monster with just a single slash of the black knife.

But a scene that was not known to Sky was currently taking place in his arm. The blood of the God was indeed absorbed by the left hand but only half of the power generated went into strengthening Sky's body.

The other half was used by the left arm to nourish Mey's soul which was in deep sleep.

Even though the left arm was a supreme existence, it's level was too low right now. It could not completely store a soul without the soul getting damaged.

So it needs to nourish the soul now and then to not let the soul disperse.

.......

Now that Sky had enough strength to kill the goblin lord with just a single slash he relaxed.

The next part of his plan required showing off. This needs a grand stage and the sacrificial altar during the ceremony is the best stage he could ask for.

The goblin God's blood not just increased his power, it also increased his senses. Now he could see even more far and hear everything around a kilometer.

The whole village was in his hands now, none of the conversations in the village evaded him.

.....

Two days passed and it was the time for the sacrificial ritual. All the goblin colonies gathered around, near the altar.

Sky, who was the only human present attracted a lot of eyes towards himself. But this did not effect him in the least.

The higher the number of eyes on him the higher the success of his plan.

After all the goblins gathered, the level one goblin lord brought out a dozen goblins on the altar.

These goblins were the weakest from his colony.

He then took out a dagger and killed all of them with a single slash. Sky who was watching this was dumbfounded.

But looking at other goblins who had a face which had already know this would happen, he quickly hid his expression.

It was the middle aged goblin who stood beside him that explained this situation to him, "To offer a sacrifice, First, one must gain the attention from the God. This is done by killing a lot of clan mates at the same time."

"The God would notice a large number of his descendants dying and would pay attention to the cause. This is the reason those goblins were killed."

Sky nodded in understanding. In this dog eat dog world, even their own clan mates were not spared for personal profits.

Suddenly Sky felt like he was being watched by a supernatural entity. The whole of goblin race got on their knees and bowed to this mighty presence.

The level one goblin was successful in gaining the attention of their God. He kneeled with reverence.

The only one who was still standing was Sky. Seeing this the middle aged goblin just shook her head.

Strangely the goblin God did not mind this action. He just waited for the sacrifice.

The level one goblin got up and ordered his subordinates to bring Carnage on the altar excitedly.

When Carnage was brought up everyone present were surprised. Sky was even more surprised than the goblins.

Because the Carnage he knew from the Carnage on the stage were too different.

The Carnage he knew was a harpy, who looked innocent and pure.

But on the stage was a human girl who was dejected and gloomy.

But the goblin God did not care about the feelings of the sacrifice. He only cared wether she was pure or not.

"Make your wish?" A Divine intent appeared on the altar and ordered the level one goblin.
