Chapter 589 - Black Empress of Death vs. Abyss Emperor (1)

One could say that nothing would be wasted after the extermination of the cultivators within the Land of Life.

The corpses would be a good source of food for the growing population of the Xenomorphs, and if they were preserved well, then they could control the population of the Xenomorphs to a certain degree through food control.

After Hela sent there another Astral Necrotic Undead Lord, then with two Astral Necrotic Undead Lords, the Twin Goddesses of the Star Moon Divine Kingdom were quickly subjugated and brought to heel.

After that was done, Hela turned her attention to the remaining ones of the Six Great Divine Kingdom, where everything was going well and there was almost zero to no resistance from the side of the native cultivators.

God Realm of Absolute Beginning, Abyss of Nothingness, Pure Land.

A Pure Land was a sacred place within the Abyss of Nothingness; it was a place located in the deepest part of the Abyss of Nothigness; it was the most sacred place of the spiritual faith of the entire Abyss of Nothigness.

And it was also the place where the Abyss Emperor, the master of the entire Abyss of Nothingness resided.

According to the legends of the Abyss, the air of the Pure Land is so pure that it can almost purify the soul. There were different kinds of flowers and plants growing everywhere in the Pure Land.

There are thousands of shapes and colors, the sky of the Pure Land was of a faint blue color, and the shape of every cloud can be seen clearly.

When Hela entered the Pure Land, she herself was surprised by the aura that the place was giving because even with her current strength, she could feel the power of the Pure Land and also the effects on her very own soul.

She knew that the place was probably one of the wonders of the entire Primal Chaos Dimension Universe, and what she had seen in different Universes, the Pure Land, would be considered priceless land in countless Universes.

Hela already made a mental note to ask Zeoticus to transport the entire Pure Land to the Kadath Universe.

The effect of the Pure Land was very powerful; the soul-soothing benefits and the effects on the soul were noticeable even for the people who were standing at the Tier 11, according to her calculations.

Naturally, something as valuable as the Pure Land would be brought back to the Kadath Universe; they wouldn't be leaving it to the Xenomorphs, as it would be virtually useless to them, as they wouldn't be able to make even rudimentary use of the Pure Land.

After scanning the entirety of the Pure Land, it didn't take Hela a long time to locate the place where the fabled Abyss Emperor dwelled. It was a palace that was located in the deepest parts of the Pure Land.

The deeper into the Pure Land one went, the stronger the effects on the one's soul became and once Hela arrived at the heart of the Pure Land, there was something that shocked even her...

She felt the Pure Land influencing her very own soul, which was pretty much shocking, considering the fact that she was already a Tier 12 entity, so a probability of someplace like the Pure Land having an effect on her was abysmally null, void zero none low...

This only increased the greed in Hela's eyes towards the Pure Land because its importance for the Kadath Universe now skyrocketed several times over. Once it was confirmed that it had effects on the Tier 12 entities, it became something that must be obtained at all costs.

At the same time, once she sensed the immense benefits of the Pure Land, she now wondered what Tier the Abyss Emperor reached. On top of that, she was also wary of this individual, as he bore the title with the word "Abyss" in within, which greatly increased her vigilance against the Abyss Emperor.

Still, in case something went wrong, she could always call upon the support of her husband, who was on the verge of reaching Tier 13 and becoming the Primarch, yet she already predicted that the Abyss Emperor should be minimally very powerful Tier 12.

The most probable scenario it was someone who was hiding within this place, trying to cultivate in silence and in a suitable environment, as the place would be pretty suitable to his power system.

Due to the specifications of the Pure Land, Hela predicted that Abyss Emperor's power system was either based around the concept of the soul or he was someone very powerful who suffered some grievous soul injury and was healing himself within the Pure Land.

As she was approaching the palace of the Abyss Emperor, suddenly all of Hela's senses screamed danger, as her precognition kicked in and she dodged to the side, when an enormous blade appeared in the sky, slashing at her.

With every step that she heard, the entire Abyss of Nothingness shook slightly while she sensed that the power of the Abyss Emperor had certainly reached the standards of the Tier 12.

And as she predicted, it wasn't an aura belonging to that of the Profound Way but of something different, something vastly different. While Hela traveled through the Endless Void to a certain degree and saw a great deal of the Power System across the Endless Void, she didn't recognize that of the Abyss Emperor.

Indeed, the power that the Abyss Emperor showcased from the far was something that was equally matched her own, so she instantly grew wary and combat-ready. Initially, they predicted that the Abyss Emperor was someone native to the Primal Chaos Dimension Universe who somehow survived till now...

But it seemed to be a wrong assumption.

That is a pretty wrong assumption.

The Abyss Emperor was someone who reached the peak of Tier 12 and was in prime shape; most probably, he was injured and found a perfect healing spot in the Pure Land of the Primal Chaos Dimension Universe.

After he recuperated, he probably decided to remain here and cultivate.

That were Hela's thoughts when she sensed the power of the Abyss Emperor and analyzed its composition.

Simultaneously, she also notified her beloved about the situation because, from what he knew, while she was equally matched against the Abyss Emperor, in the worst case, her husband would finish the job.
