After a while, I woke up and saw a yellowish light come from Lisa, a maid that took care of me when I was still baby. Noticing I just woke up, she stopped her healing skill and hugged me. She began crying while lecturing me.
She is the only maid that is very caring to me but also likes to nag me a lot. She is also the first one that opposed me to have my own room two years ago. Despite that, She is really a lovely mother figure that cares a lot for me.
She stops lecturing me after hearing a growl from my stomach. Then, she arranges another employee to prepare a lot of food that I can easily digest.
She asked me how I can be in this condition. My fat is already gone and I become very thin almost like a malnutrition kid who is not eating for days.
Surrender from her nagging, I told her that I spar with teacher Gene seriously and use technique to defend myself against her final attack.
At this instant, she immediately tries to go to teacher Gene and ask her how she can beat me like this.
I tried to restrain her by explaining to her it was my request which is that she begin lecturing me again. Guess she is fussier than my own mother.
After a while the food is finally being served. Then, she leaves me alone as she needs to go back to her work. Before she left the room, she hugged me again while saying to take care of my own body and take it easy as I am still a five-year-old kid.
She also told me to behave like one since I am too mature for my age. Before she left, she also threatened Moru to not let me do any reckless thing such as this again.
After she left, I ate gluttonously without stopping and kept ordering more food. I used Gluttony's energy storage technique to keep eating and turn the food into energy.
The only downside is that my body needs to be strong enough to hold the energy. Otherwise, the stored energy will be dissipated into the surrounding.
After emptying the entire kitchen's stock of food, my body reverted back to being a healthy normal kid.
I stopped eating and looked at the time. Fortunately, I was unconscious only for a few hours. Now, it is in the afternoon. I go to the library to continue studying about magic. I have no time to lose for every second is important for me.
As I arrive there, I look at my mother who is reading some book and is surprised to see me in a healthy condition. She asked about my condition and explained that she heard about the aftermath of my second spar which is very ridiculous.
She also told me that she once almost killed Gene out of anger but being restrained from father. After another hour of explanation, she calms down as she sees Gene is still in a meditate position to calm her body and restore her mageforce.
Judging from her story, she is somewhat also happy and proud that I managed to push Gene this far. Although, she worries about me but from her attitude she is like expected this outcome.
Apparently according to myth and history, those that are born with perfect affinity will never have a normal life. Sometimes, they become hero, king, champion of god or become their counterwise as villain and destructor of the world.
It seems my father also gave strict orders to forbid me having another spar with anyone as it will cause too much commotion.
Since every time I spar, it will become like battle between high level warriors. Hearing this news, I sighed as a matter of fact that doing battle will fasten my growth of strength.
However, this way I can also become more low profile. I have already gathered too much attention lately.
As soon as we finished talking, I went back to read the books and tried to master the old tongue language completely.
While reading some books, I also remember my last spar this morning. I learned that when teacher Gene uses her last move, I can understand some part of the spell diagram and its composition.
This makes me wonder if I can break the spell diagram before it is launched by altering or manipulating it.
"Mother, is it possible to influence or manipulate others spell's diagram before it completes?" I inquired about my mother.
After thinking a little bit, "Hmm.. Yes, it is possible. Though It is not common, it is still possible to interrupt or manipulate others spell's diagrams to a certain degree." She lectured me more about it.
To my surprise, it actually can be done and there are already specialty jobs that use this method as their combat skill.
These jobs are called spell breaker and anti-mage. Spell breaker is more magician oriented while anti-mage is more warrior oriented. Both of these jobs require a complete mastery over old tongue language, spell diagram and formula.
However, this job also has many disadvantages. First, the time to complete all the preconditions to manipulate the spell's diagram is too time consuming. Second they can only alter a spell diagram that they know or recognize.
The biggest of their disadvantages is they can't alter a spell which is used by a magician who does not follow ordinary spell diagrams.
They need more time to decode the diagram while it can be launched anytime. Still there are some people who are expert in this job and become bane of a magician job.
I am getting interested in this specialty job. Just imagine you can defeat your enemy without moving from your spot and the opponent got backlash from their own spell. After I inquired more about this job, I went back to reading my book.
