"Sorry but I'll have to reject that offer of yours."(Leo)
"Well, I expected that but you still must owe me something for telling ya all about this."(Ray)
"Alright, then how about I owe you a favor as long as it doesn't clash with my interests."(Leo)
"Alright! Let's shake on it!"(Ray)
While saying that, Ray spits on his hand before extending it for a handshake.
"Yeah, I'm not shaking hands when there's spittle involved so no."(Leo)
"Heh, your choice. Anyway talking about weapons, there are a total of 4 ways to get them. Firstly, you buy it from a Shop. Secondly, you can get a boss mob drop a weapon. Thirdly, you can use materials from monsters to make it by making it yourself or paying the Blacksmith some money and giving it the materials. Finally, you can get it by killing others. Well, you can also get it from Treasure Chests and Mystery Crates but I wouldn't trust them completely if I were you as they may be a camouflaged Mimic. I also would advise you to not hold on to a Lost Box for too long as it may attract others to attack you and loot your corpse for it, especially if its a Lost Box of a very high Rarity. Lost Boxes may appear in mob drops, Treasure Chests and Mystery Crates but they are enchanted witha curse to harm the person who tries to open it, the curse may be as minimal as a single decrease of a grade in your stats for a short period of time to whatever unknown punishment schemed up by those crazy and psychotic bastards watching us. Hell, I once heard that there was a very strong Player that rivaled a top-ranked faction leader that got crippled by a curse and he only survived because he possessed an incredibly huge mana pool and managed to fill the curse with an unbelievable amount of mana till it burst and destroyed itself to mana overflow. Rumors state that he's still alive and that he is tutoring a student of his as a successor."(Ray)
"Then why did he do it?"(Leo)
"Why? Because the Box he was opening was a [Black]Box, it's one of the best Lost Boxes in the entire world and its just below a single grade, the [Red]Box, it would give him a Legendary item at worst and a Semi-Divine at best. Why wouldn't he do it! A Semi-Divine item would let a normal person fight against a normal armored peak expert of an overlord faction. If used by the strong experts of an overlord faction, it could become a lethal strike against other factions, a trump card per se."(Ray)
"Huh, then is the reason why your here also a result of a Lost Box's curse?"(Leo)
"Perceptive, aren't you? However, it isn't from just 1 Lost Box. I've had a couple dozen curses from quite a few Lost Boxes. Some from a couple of [Orange] Boxes, which is below [Black], and quite a few from [Yellow] Boxes. However, the reason why I'm like this right now is because of a [Black] Box."(Ray)
"A [Black] Box. Are you sure telling me about it is a good idea?"(Leo)
"Hmm, I don't think your the kind of person who'd betray someone immediately would you? Besides, the loot I got from it was stolen away."(Ray)
"Stolen? Who could've done it?"(Leo)
"It's an old story, in fact, I later found out that the Box was likely planted there by someone who was in wait to steal it from the guy who opens it. It was originally found in a ruin I was exploring in one of my guild's expeditions, it was supposed to be an easy raid. Little did I know that someone had changed the ruin's settings and loot. After clearing, I was naturally given the Box due to my contributions but it was all a trap. I didn't think there would be someone who changed the ruin you see, since it was unexplored so I stupidly opened the Box, had it's loot stolen and the ruin was set to collapse by that bastard."(Ray)
