When I was in high school I had a group of friends. These friends were made up of Jiso, Josh, Sirius and Rain and me of course. But these friends were very special to me as these were my childhood friends who stuck by me through the hardest times of life.
Us 5 were not ordinary friends. We would sneak out at 5 o'clock in the morning everyday to sit on the rooftop of a derelict building. This would reminds us that we were all alive. After this reminder we would watch the sunrise as all our home lives would make us feel worthless and unappreciated.
Each of us has a dark past and present that we rather not talk about.
But our memories of our us are still stuck in my mind like it was yesterday. This memory special place in my heart, as this was the last time that we were altogether glad. This was the last place where we would feel peace in our hearts and forget about the cruel world.
This recollection was when us 5 were sitting on swings at the break of sunset. The sky shone like pockets of sun that were gleaming through a rainy day. This little amount of sun made us all feel like we belong together as a family. We gave each other a hug that lasted so long, that we thought it would never end.
This hug was one that I'll never forget it held warmth, joy and happiness that we have through all those haunting nightmares.
This hug though felt of to me like a shadow was pursuing one of us coming to take the light from within the selected one. This haunting shadow was slowly selecting one of us to become its prey.
I never thought this event would arise to us.
