Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 : Different Day

The day started like any other would. I was sitting in my chair in the middle of class, obviously day dreaming about anything and everything. Suddenly something flashed out of the corner of my eyes causing me to turn and look at what it was.

"Why does it have two shining lights looking at my class?" I mumbled. Like the dumb-ass I was, I watched it as it moved closer and closer until it was within 30 meters. At this point I knew that it wasn't stopping and was about to speak up to warn everyone when my voice malfunctioned. Worst point in time for that to happen. Not dismayed by this fact, I slammed my hand down onto my desk causing everyone to turn and look.

I probably should tell you that I sit in the back right next to the right side window. As they turned and saw what now looked like a semi truck going full steam ahead for us, they did what is natural. Panic and run. But I still stood there like an absolute moron. My best friend looked back and saw me standing there, he returned and tried to pull me out of the way. It didn't work as we were both hit by the truck. The funny thing is that although we were hit the truck, it hadn't hurt at all. It was like we were surrounded by a clear barrier, and boy was that barrier strong. Instead of us getting sent flying, the TRUCK actually got repelled by the barrier over the tops of our heads crashing through the school. As my friend and I where tacking in what just happened, a big glowing circle appeared under our feet. Looking down an then back up at my buddy only to hear him say, "Oh Shit!"

A sudden flash happened in front of our faces, binding us. When we regained our vision I thought that I was crazy or just in a dream. The surrounding area looked like something out of a fantasy game world. I was in a barn with less than a dozen people near me. Trying to stand, I fell back into a pole of hay. Felt a hella lot like real life.

"Leo! Don't be walking around just yet as you took a big blow to the head." An older gentlemen spoke to me. My mind was in scrambles. Why cant I remember my name? What is happening? Looking at my hands I was stunned once again. I had the hands of an fourteen year old. Wait, what is my age? Why are all these details slipping away from me. Deciding to follow what the old man said, I sat still until my head cleared up.

Trying to stand once again, I found that I now could. At this point in time the people that had surrounded me had all left except for the old man. So together we walked back to where the supposedly house was. The house looked like a small commoners house with a bit of farmland in one direction and forest in the other. Upon entering the house I thanked the old man. I turned and walked up stairs wanting to go to 'my' room only to find that I had no clue as to which room was 'mine'. Retracing my steps, I found the old man sitting in the living room or main floor depending on the use.

"Sir, can I ask you what room i'm in again, as my memory is a bit clouded." I spoke once I confirmed that he knew I was there.

"Sure Young Master." He replied standing up. He led me up the stairs and then down two rooms., stopping at the last one.

"Here you are Young Master Leo." Giving him my thanks I shut the door and laid down on 'my' bed reviewing my memories.

I had been in another place, getting taught how to do a concept in math when all of a sudden a flash of light had attracted me. The light turned out to be a... I couldn't remember. My friend tried to pull me out of the way of the thing but it didn't work and we were both hit by it. Then another flash of light and I woke up here. I could remember other details about my old life, just not my name and age. I know about math but not other subjects. I know about magic and video game logic but not everything else about. Thinking about all of this only caused a headache.

I guess my name is Leo now and i'm gonna say that my age is fourteen. Once again standing I turned and searched for a mirror because why wouldn't you want to see what you looked like. After looking for five minuets, I managed to find one. The reflection staring back at me was a complexion of Silver/white hair, grey eyes. Damn, I look like a bad ass anime character. I had a swollen eyebrow as I had apparently gotten hi tin the head earlier this day. Although I don't remember much, I know that I was a nobody back where I came from.

"Maybe this issue isn't so bad after all." I said closing my eyes.
