(While Ken and Jek works in the kitchen fixing walls and furniture, Kora and Emili were busy cleaning the floors and adjusting the tables outside. At first, Emili was strongly against Kora working while still hurt, but she finally agrees to let Kora help sweep the floors after Kora desperately begs her for some work to do)
(During the time, Emili could not help but look outside every time she takes a small break)
Emili: Hmm... He is pretty slow, I wonder what happened... (Worried)
Kora thoughts: She's been staring outside the windows for 50 minutes since she came back... I asked her who is coming but she just blushed and told me she'll tell me when I meet him. From what I know, though, I'm guessing this person I'm meeting is probably going to be that mysterious Dan Emili has been talking about.
Emili: (Sighs) I hope this is not because of some accident... I did tell him to be careful on his way, maybe he's late because he's being cautious?
Kora: Emili... *coughs* Um, you've been sweeping that area for like 20 minutes? I think you can move to the next area...?
Emili: Oh! Sorry, wasn't paying attention. You need any help over there?
Kora: No...
Kora thoughts: I actually finished cleaning my area way long ago... I'll just keep sweeping though, so I don't make her awkward.
(Emili moves to the next area and starts sweeping. But just like how she did in her previous area, she just sweeps the same area back and forth while stares outside the window. Then she would sigh and mumble the same things over and over again)
Kora thoughts: This won't do. She isn't making any progress... Actually, she may be making things a little worst. Is she using dirty water to clean the floors? Oh, no, she looks like she's about to knock over that bucket of water--!
Kora: H-hey, Emili! (Rushes over) How about you go outside and look for that person? I'm afraid he's pretty late, I really want to meet him!
Emili: (Hesitate) But I can't leave you doing the work alone...
Kora: It's fine! You see, I actually already finish... Well, I uh, I'm almost finishing up my place. It's not a really hard job, and it doesn't hurt my wounds a bit. If I really feel unwell I have Ken and Jek here for me anyways.
Kora thoughts: Besides, I feel like you're the one that's getting sick if you don't find him right now...
Emili: (Considering the idea hardly) ... Well... (Looks into Kora's eyes seriously) --Just wait for me, okay? You don't have to do all my work. I'll come back to finish my work after I find him. Your safety is important, understand?
(Kora nods vigorously. After getting permission from Ken in the kitchen, Emili leaves the bakery)
Kora: Well then, I'll clean up this place too... Woah, Emili really did use dirty water without noticing...
Jek: (Pops out of kitchen) Kiddo! Need any help?
Kora: --Mr. Jek! You're done with the work in the kitchen?
Jek: Just call me Jek. And nah, we haven't even finished half. Those Defus really are a pain in the ass. (Looks at the floor where Emili was cleaning before) ...Girl I'm not being mean or anything but you really suck at cleaning.
Kora: --It wasn't me!
Jek: You don't need to be embarrassed. Everyone has something they're not good at. Maybe you just don't have the talent in cleaning. From what I know Emili is real good at it. Once she cleaned the whole building in just 10 minutes, she was like wind.
Kora thoughts: This is annoying... If what he said was true, he wouldn't believe me if I said this mess was made by Emili... I'll just ignore him.
Jek: (Watches Kora silently sweeps) Hey, you don't have to work so hard on it. You did your best. You're a patient anyways, Emili won't criticize you. Besides, um, I'm afraid the more you sweep, the more you'll just make it worst...
Kora thoughts: It wasn't me!!!
Jek: (Tries to get Kora out of cleaning) --Hey! How about you go get something for me instead of doing all this? (Pulls out a small sheet of paper and scribbles some things down) I'll give you the money, just do this favor for me. In exchange, you can use the extra money to buy anything you want, or just look around if you're bored.
Kora: (Narrows) But I'm still cleaning--
Jek: (Interrupts) Leave that to Emili! She'll clean this up in less than a second. You don't have to worry about it.
Kora: ...But--
Jek: (Shoves money into Kora's hands) I'm depending on you, kiddo!
Kora: ...Okay, I'll come back as fast as I can to clean this up.
Jek: (Complicated look) You see, maybe you're just not the kind that's suited for this, so maybe... Argh, nevermind. Just go. (Mumbles) I'll just clean it up instead if Emili doesn't come back.
Kora thoughts: He'd rather clean it himself than choose to believe me... Whatever, going outside doesn't seem like a bad idea for me anyways.
(Kora leaves the bakery taking the money and the piece of paper Jek gave her. On the back of the paper, Jek drew her a brief map of where to go to buy the things that he needs. Kora looks around the streets and asks people to recognize the words on the paper. She realizes on the top left corner there are words crossed out. People read the crossed-out word as "the West Street".)
Kora thoughts: West street... The ink is dried up, those words are probably written before he gave me this list of things to buy. The scribbles that he drew to cross out those words are newly drawn, though. I'm guessing he doesn't want me to go because Emili would get mad...
Kora thoughts: But if west street was originally written, maybe the map wasn't newly drawn either. (Flips the paper over again) --Ah, there's a place that he didn't mark for me to go. It's so far away... But this may be a rare chance for me to check the clinics.
Kora thoughts: ...I'll buy the things, first. If I still have time to spare, I will go check out the west street. After all, he did tell me I can look around after I finish my task... right?
