"D-don't you dare barging inside! I'm calling the cops!" Lai MeiShi felt like she was in a survival mode.
"Mam, we're already here."
Feeling the relief when the man outside was their security guard, she immediately opened the door.
"Come with me! Arrest the man downstairs!"
After reaching the ground floor, the guards spoke.
"A-are you sure you want to arrest him?"
"Yes! He's a threat to my safety!"
"Ahem, Ms. Liang, we have no rights to arrest Mr. Qing."
"M-Mr. Qing?"
"Yes, Mam. He's Mr. Qing YuHan, the owner of the the whole estate and our boss. How come you don't know him also?"
The guards were confused. They knew the relationship between Qing YuHan and Liang XiaoYou because the Old Master Qing frequently visits her house.
'How come Ms. Liang disremember Mr. Qing?'
Lai MeiShi was terrified with what she heard.
'How could I offend this big personality?'
Her confused thoughts was lost as Qing YuHan spoke.
"En. You two may go out now. We have something to discuss of."
"Yes boss, at your service!" The two saluted at him before they left.
The atmosphere inside Liang XiaoYou's house became icy cold. She stared at the man and get back to her thoughts.
'That man. Why does it seems he hate Liang XiaoYou?'
'Mr. Qing.... Mr. Qing YuHan?'
"MR. QING YUHAN?!" Lai MeiShi accidentally screamed his name due to shock.
'He's Liang XiaoYou's ex-boyfriend? That sugar daddy is actually a young ones? No wonder they broke up. He's a scary one.'
"Are you done arranging your thoughts? What's with that reality show that you already forgotten me?" Qing YuHan's voice was very cold, making Lai MeiShi shiver.
"I-I do not forgot you! B-but, we broke up! Remember? So why are you here?"
MeiShi thought that maybe already broke up, what's the point of being sweet?
"So, you're turning now the tables. Making me look like I'm the dumped ones."
'Why is this woman acting clueless today? Is she trying to avoid me?'
'I could clearly remember that she even begged me not to broke up with her, but now she acts like she was the one who ended our relationship!'
'She was really reminding me that we already have nothing for each other!'
Qing YuHan started to boil up with anger. The temperature around them dropped for many degress.
But Lai MeiShi doesn't seem to feel it at all. She doesn't really know what Qing YuHan like, and even his temperament. She kept on asking him further questions.
"But now that we're not together, why are you still here?"
Qing YuHan started to walk towards her with a strange look. MeiShi noticed it, making herself walk backwards to escape from the killing stare.
Qing YuHan froze after hearing Liang XiaoYou's question.
'Why am I here in the first place?'
Qing YuHan didn't know why, but he felt an urge to went into Liang XiaoYou's house, as if there's someone calling out his soul to visit her.
Realizing why he came here, he felt disgusted.
'There's no way I'm tied with this vicious woman![1]'
"You need more money right? Is what I gave you not enough? Here, take this." Qing YuHan put his black credit card into the living room's center table.
MeiShi felt that she was being insulted and Liang XiaoYou's face too. There's no way she was going to accept the money.
'Liang XiaoYou isn't that kind right? Oh, I hope my suspicions about her was wrong. For now, I would stand on what is right.'
"Heh, I think you're wrong. Please don't look down on such an artiste like me. I could work harder to earn that money and not to suck yours. Now that we separate, all relationship left between us is a CEO and his employee. I would not accept your offer. If there's nothing else, you can now leave."
MeiShi didn't know why, but she couldn't stop herself to lecture Qing YuHan infront of him. She felt that his arrogance had gotten across the line, stepping onto her pride. Though she was afraid in confronting a CEO, maybe that kind of CEO need a good teaching.
Qing YuHan continued to walk forward towards MeiShi until they stopped when MeiShi felt her back against the cold wall.
He hold Liang XiaoYou's chin upwards and spoke to her closely.
"You better not regret what you had said today."
