All the fighters were standing around the colosseum Sylvia was watching over Nina's shoulder where Rudra and Xian were standing, he seems pretty normal to her nothing seems extraordinary.
Rudra was watching everything carefully while Xian was telling him about the place, "this is where we all train our physical prowess, there are other classes for various Chakra but I always preferred this one. You will love it too."
Professor Czar, Vazul, Eera, Neve and Director Hanzo were sitting on gallery situated on one side of Colosseum.
"Champions and all the young blood of Verge, we all are here to celebrate the official start of our first session for 149th time cycle, this place is known for its prodigious talent who have helped to sustain the balance till now. We have been through darkest of times and have witnessed the longest of peace, we stand between realms as a balance.","Let's start the first session of the 149th time cycle.", said director Hanzo.
"You know Director Hanzo and Profesor Czar also learned everything from Verge, almost every Professor is a prodigy in their respective Chakra but Professor Czar is on a different level," said Xian. Rudra gazed towards Professor Czar who was sitting calmly and was smiling.
A Conch was blown and five elements around the colosseum started to rise and merged with each other forming a silvery pearl-like structure, everybody was silent and was staring towards the pearl, Rudra asked, "what's this?".
"This is 149th NavMani, they form it during every time cycle, watch closely.", Rudra turned back to watch it, when it started to take shape and change colour from silvery white to golden and formed a bud and within a blink that bud started to bloom like a lotus and from every petal, a fluid starts dripping and started to swirling under the flower. The flower starts rising in the air and became static after a few moments.
Everybody started shouting, Xian uttered, "Isn't it beautiful The first bloom ?"
"Yes, surely."
"It's the natural energy reservoir and shield, nobody can enter Verge without the knowledge of Professors so it's a safeguard too," told Xian.
Nina and Sylvia were standing at 13th and 12th row respectively, and Sylvia was continuously watching over Rudra like a predator, she have heard a lot about Anayan from lots of Vyanus while Nina was clearly singing choir for NavMani.
After this whole commotion Sylvia was waiting for fights between Finals. Finals are those who are going to become Champions and they all were expected to fight with each other. Every final was allowed to choose their own weapon and the fight continues until one of them forfeit or become unconscious.
The brawl started, one final chose sword and shield as a weapon and another Kusarigama(chained sickle), they started with common fighting stance, Nina uttered, "This will be over soon, he's standing on the wrong foot, " and like she said one attack from Kusarigama and he slipped within a blink the blades of Kusarigama were around his neck, he knew he can't overcome and forfeited. Almost every battle after that was a hardcore some show magic some exceptional control over elements and some extraordinary control over weapons.
But everybody was waiting for Odelia and Shinak, they were considered as one of the finest finals in the history of Verge and they both come from very different background, one comes from noble family of Aries and was trained for almost whole her life and another an orphan lived and survived on Morag. Odelia was exceptionally well in magic and element control, Shinak was devoid of ability to control elements, he belongs to one of those races who were immune to magic and no pure magic can ever harm them but they also can't control it. Odelia was much more considerate about their opponents while most of Shinak's were unconscious when he left the colosseum.
They both took there stance Odelia was holding Kusarigama from both his hand while Shinak was bare handed, he put his both hands on the ground and his legs were arched, positioned to shoot and as the conch was blown, Odelia shoot his Kusarigama towards Shinak while Shinak launched himself towards the walls of colosseum, his finger shinked inside the wall of colosseum and the impulse was felt by every single individual who was sitting on it.
Shinak jumped towards Odelia like a predator running on his hands and legs and then thrusted his body towards Odelia, Odelia pulled Kusarigama and thrusted other side of it towards Shinak, Shinak grabbed the sickle with one hand and pulled it to gain much more speed and Odelia lost her control while Shinak jumped towards her neck, his hand was going to grab the neck when she used her magic to move soil below her own leg, he was only able to inflict few cuts on her face and that was only because his fingers touched her barely, but this incident was enough to enrage her, she knew she can't use magic against him but elements works fine against him too and she set her Kusarigama on fire and now with every attack she make she was breathing fire, but Shinak's physical prowess was nothing less than extraordinary he was evading every single attack and flame and with every moment he was continuously coming closer to her.
Odelia sunked one of her sickle in the wall of colosseum and with a single thrust, fragments of burning rocks starts raining on Shinak, he jumped to evade as much as possible but his body was full of bruise and burns from the attack, and with another pull a boulder hit Shinak and he was tossed around the colosseum like a toy, Shinak stood up, took his stance and started running towards her, he grabbed one of the boulders with one hand and threw it towards Odelia, she spranged Kusarigama towards boulder and boulder was broken into pieces but as the sight clear out he spranged towards her, she was not in position to pull Kusarigama, he grabbed her through her shoulder sunked his feet inside soil and tossed her towards wall like a ball, she impacted the wall with huge thrust and it wasn't possible for anyone to stand after something like this, almost everyone witnessed the shockwaves of the impact.
She was almost unconscious but within few moments she started moving, her hairs were all over her face, she released her Kusarigama, sunked her nails in her palm and smiled, "you should have used everything you have got, I know what a beast you are."
Shinak smiled, "Sorry, for not considering it, Love." and they both spranged towards each other.
They were almost going to collapse with each other when something fall between them, a black ugly insect like creature, burst like a fire ball with its body scattered all over the colosseum, and the next second Aragorn was standing in the midst of colosseum, few bruises over his wrist and a black fluid was dripping through his sword.
Everyone was signalled to go back to their dorm.
