Chapter 2 - The hidden castle

The mild wind was blowing, he tried opening his eyes and it seems he has been out for an eternity, it seems like dawn but he remembers only one thing very clearly that he was abducted in the midst of night so either he has been out for half a day or he has gone mad. Rudra tried to stand up and see where he really was, he has been lying on open ground, there were few trees here, the sky seems clear but he can clearly see a crescent moon closer to him than ever before, he knew someone was standing behind him and he didn't bother to turn around, maybe because of fear or because something huge was standing in front of him "A castle".

Rudra gazed towards the castle, it stands on a bank of a river with nine turrets and in every turret flames of different colour ignites, he doesn't even know how this was possible but it didn't surprise him because of all the incidents that were happening with him nothing make sense and he didn't even bother to know the reason neither he asked for it as he knew that he won't get an answer.

The whole castle was huge, large minarets, huge boulders of stone and a bridge that stands between them and the castle.

The Shrouded man pushed Rudra to walk forward and he turned back to have a look of man's face. A man stands with dark skin, small beard and with lot of scars on his face. A silver round earring on one ear and dark hairs which reached his shoulders and the tresses of his hair swinging because of the wind. Shoulders as wide as tree trunks, dark eyes with green pupil and then he opened his mouth to order him again and what was it? he has canine teeth. The blow of fear crossed through his spine and fear burst his brain with a lot of unanswered questions.

Is he a vampire?

Where am I?

Isn't he a human?

Am I going to die?

Am I Sleeping?

This all can't be true?

Aragorn : "you are going to see much scarier things Anayan so be prepared" and walked forward.

"Anayan? what's this? Why he called him Anayan?" lots of question again started brainstorming but he didn't bother to ask anything and without any delay, he started following and observing him.

That man's large cloak has little black silver linings that have a different texture from the rest of the coat and an image of the wolf was on the back of the cloak. It wasn't that colourful, it was made with dark black thread on the faded black coat. The only thing that wasn't black on his attire was his one earing.

He walked slowly on the stone-paved path till the bridge and then stopped. He turned towards Rudra told him "boy move through the bridge" and Rudra stared at him wanting to ask a question but then he again started to walk through the bridge.

The bridge was long made of metal and wood, different kind of marks and symbols were carved on both sides of the bridge and the bottom has similar carvings. The river was flowing with a great noise, sometimes the splash of water even reached the bridge. He continued to walk observing every single detail of this area. And that man stands there and watched him till Rudra reached the other side of the bridge and with a blink of an eye, he was standing on the other side with Rudra, his cloak swings forward with great thrust like he had crossed it with the speed faster than the wind itself and then he looks toward Rudra and again starts to walk without the slightest of emotions. He didn't bother to ask why he didn't cross the bridge with him, the only thing he knew was he was afraid.

The doors from which they entered were huge wooden doors and a metal embroidered symbol was on both the door. The symbol was something circular with nine division and every division have some kind of craving which look like somewhat animals but he wasn't sure about that.

They crossed the door and the stone-paved path continued inside the castle and with the first, he realised whatever he has seen from the outside were just walls of this enormous world, a world no one would have ever think of, behind those walls, there were enormous castles and he starts to count them from one to nine and every castle have one high turret which was the only thing that was visible from the outside and every turret was burning a different colour flame, in front of every castle, there were large grounds, trees and small houses. He tries to observe whatever he could but everything around him was enormous.
