Morning, Class 3-A, homeroom. The teacher announced that there would be a school trip for the third years. The students listened intently despite feeling excited inside.
"... All right, now is the time to divide into groups of five." The teacher said.
Shinosuke looks at Chisato, then Mayoi and noticed that both of them are already looking at him.
"Guess we are going together alright." Shinosuke smiles.
"Hey, how about the remaining two?" Mayoi asked.
"Perhaps there is someone who haven't formed a group yet?" Chisato looked around cautiously.
"How did we got into this situation huh...?" Shinosuke thought.
The abnormality between Chisato and Mayoi caused a rift of cognition between all of their classmates, instead of not able to see Mayoi alone and Chisato being popular herself, everyone in school only acknowledge their existence. Those memories of them could however reawakened if they wanted to try to reconnect with the person specifically, except for a few exceptions.
Neither of them are bothered to reawaken those memories as they know that they are remembered by their loved one, that much attention is enough. Not to mention their saviours, Keita and his friends.
"Shimamura, no one going with you?" The teacher asked.
"No, I'm going with Yukimura-san and Amanogawa-san." Shinosuke replied.
"Oh, you have two girls on your group huh... Is there anyone left out?" The teacher asked.
"We will probably take the position of the student representative as former student council members, so we're fine." Shinosuke said politely.
"Ah, I see that is true. Alright, settle down, I'll explain the schedule to all of you right now." The teacher settles down the students and began briefing the details of the school trip.
"Let's talk to the them after school." Shinosuke suggested to his girlfriends.
"We should tell them we're about to take over his work on that day." Mayoi said.
"But if then, how is he supposed to learn?" Chisato asked.
"That is exactly why we're gonna talk with them so we can supervise him at his job." Shinosuke said.
"So cool...!" Both Mayoi and Chisato said.
"... I don't really get it... But thanks...? I guess..." Shinosuke said awkwardly.
End of flashback, the student council members are currently holding a meeting with their seniors.
"So that was supposed to be my job, but you are there to supervise me you said?" Keita asked.
"Exactly... Well, that was an excuse to actually make sure the three of us can be in the same group for the trip..." Shinosuke said.
"Uwaah... That is some ulterior motives you have right there..." Keita and his friends thought out loud.
"It's not like I can find a way to appreciate some strangers to overstep their boundaries." Mayoi said bluntly.
"I'm not good around guys... But I also don't want girls to be near Shinosuke-kun..." Chisato said shyly.
"Wow, you really just said some wild lines..." Itsuki commented.
"Well... Their circumstances literally had their own world getting destroyed and then stuck back together, I can kinda understand why they feel like that towards each other..." Ayumi said.
"No... I can't at all...!" Kamika has her eyes swirling in circles.
"I get you..." Keita and friends except Kamika thought to themselves.
"Well... I guess I still need to do my job properly while you guys enjoy your class trip no?" Keita said.
"Yes... But we're there to watch over you, so don't you worry." Shinosuke said.
The door slid open, it was Ogura-sensei at the door.
"I'm sorry I took too long to come over." Ogura-sensei entered the room.
"Ogura-sensei? Why are you here?" Itsuki and Ayumi asked.
"Didn't you forget that I'm the new advisor of the student council now?" Ogura-sensei asked.
"Oh... That... Ahaha..." Both Itsuki and Ayumi laughed awkwardly.
"Back to the matter on hand, I can bring two of you to the trip, of course as the student representative crew, the two of you will be there to watch how your senpai work so that you may learn how to act as one in the following occasions." Ogura-sensei said.
"I see... It is completely the opposite than what Shinosuke-senpai said..." Keita sighed.
"We figured that having you to work is the best way to learn... Guess we will need to decide which two of you should go first." Shinosuke said.
"It'll be better to have a girl to be the other representative." Mayoi said.
"She should also be responsible for female student needs, and of course, we'll help as much as we can!" Chisato said.
"May I volunteer for the position?" Kamika raised her hand.
"Oh, how responsive! Sure, you may!" Mayoi got excited.
"Just how much she likes this girl..." Itsuki thought.
"You wanna go?" Mayoi glares at Itsuki upon sensing the thought.
"Woah, forgive me please..." Itsuki said in response.
"So Keita, Fujioka-san and me will accompany the third years to the school trip..." Ogura-sensei said.
"W-wait! Don't I get a say in this? Why her? I want to go with Kei-kun!" Ayumi whines.
"Uh... You're supposed to work there... Plus we can't have the student council unoccupied for the three days while Keita is away." Ogura-sensei said.
"I see... Alright... Let's work together I think... Itsuki..." Ayumi said in low spirits.
"Can she really handle the student council work huh?" Mayoi thought to herself.
"Well, she is a creature of love, so she will get really motivated as long as it is for Keita." Itsuki whispered to Mayoi.
"I can't deny that, make sure she work properly, Kiryu-kun." Mayoi said.
"Understood, 'former president'-san." Itsuki said.
"Former president? Aren't Yukimura-san the secretary of the previous student council?" Ogura-sensei said.
"Well, it was a long story, we'll try to fill you in some time later..." Keita said.
"Ah... I see..." Ogura-sensei said.
The meeting ends as the former members left the room, leaving behind overly sweet couple exclusive words that none of the people in the room wants to listen to.
"Could Shimamura-san be actually dating both Yukimura-san and Amanogawa-san...?" Ogura-sensei gasped as she pieced the very obvious clues together. It is very likely that their relationship differs too much from the norm that makes the fact inconvincible to Ogura-sensei.
"Yes... They are dating..." Ayumi said.
"Oh no! How could he?!" Ogura-sensei turned weird, as if some unspeakable switch has been flipped on.
"Sensei, we will leave you alone if you would come to regret showing us this side of you." Keita is being considerately blunt.
"Ah! I- I'm so sorry! I'll leave you guys to your work today, thanks for having me!" Ogura-sensei scurried away after leaving a polite apology.
"W-wow... That is kinda new?" Itsuki commented.
"Ogura-sensei is unexceptionally approachable don't you think so? Keita-kun." Kamika smiles.
"Well... My family knows her, so..." Keita said.
"Huh?! She's close to your family? Is this some kind of family arrangement?!" Itsuki is surprised.
"It's not like that! My father, and Kana-nee's parents were hospitalized when they were young. Ogura-sensei was there too, and they were friends together back then. After leaving the hospital, they still meet up and have fun together, can't say it's a normal and ideal scenario, but I'm glad everyone is safe and happy now." Keita said.
"Kei-kun..." Ayumi is moved to tears.
"Damn, you sounded like an old man crying about your daughter turning into an adult." Itsuki said.
"Kiryu-kun, don't ruin the mood!" Kamika, in tears got mad at Itsuki.
Laughter propagates through the walls, and to the corridors, that the new student council is in a fun mood. They settled themselves soon after, and continues their duties.
