After being appointed as the new student council president, Keita relays his position as the class rep to Natsuki Natsumi, who was previously a part of the class committee. Hiyama Hikaru, also a part of the committee receives the assistant position from Ayumi.
"To think Keita-san to be so capable to get chosen as the next president of the student council, it honestly surprises me..." Natsumi said.
"Stop pulling my leg, it was a mere coincidence, plus they were already aiming for me even though what I did was just talking to Itsuki during the opening ceremony." Keita sighed.
"Ahaha, I remember that one, looking back, the prez was so tsuntsun at the time, compared to how she is right now, it's a stark difference ahaha..." Itsuki laughs.
"Itsuki-kun, you are also a part of the student council too huh? I don't know who to appoint for the empty seats of our committee out of the sudden." Natsumi scratches her head.
"How about you ask Hikaru about it? He probable have some ideas on who to pick." Itsuki suggested.
"Him? He'll just choose his friends and we'll have a hard time communicating." Natsumi said.
"Ahh, you're right. things get awkward quickly like that." Itsuki said.
"Heya! Itsuki-kun what are you guys talking about?" Himeko joins the party. Apparently, her radiant aura sends Natsumi and Keita into hiding.
"Hey, what are you two doing, get up." Itsuki said bluntly.
"Hmm? You need people for class committee? Can you choose Himeko?" Himeko asked.
"W-wait... what's up with the self referring way of speaking?" Keita asked.
"I just happened to overhear some gals talking this way, so I tried to imitate them." Himeko returns to her original self. Somehow the radiant aura disappeared along with her style of speaking.
"Don't you think you gonna make it big if you aim to become an actress?" Itsuki joked.
"You're right, I probably will. But it wouldn't be fun if everyone shares the spectacle with you." Himeko points a finger at Itsuki's chin while closing in, causing Itsuki to suddenly raise his head close to Himeko's.
"Acting bold today, aren't you, Himeko." Itsuki seems to be ticked.
"Oopsie, you found out huh?" Himeko switched into an innocent act.
"U-um! I'm sorry to interrupt you two, but are you serious about joining the class committee?" Natsumi asked.
"Nah, I'm not interested." Himeko directly shoots down Natsumi's question, leaving her slowly moving away.
"You got her hopes up just now, you really gonna reject her?" Itsuki asked.
"But now I think about it, isn't committee work annoying?" Himeko asked.
"Well... You might made a point there, but it's a good chance to learn about school and get yourself familiarized with the others quickly." Itsuki said.
"I bet Natsuki-san would be happy to have you to help things out." Keita said.
"Oh, really? Then I should really consider lending her a hand!" Himeko hops off excitedly.
"Wow, look at her go. I wonder why she listens to you huh." Itsuki sighed.
"Perhaps I only supported your suggestion, it's not like we are having contrasting suggestions." Keita said.
"Y-yeah, you got me there..." Itsuki looks at Himeko talking to Natsumi.
"Worried of her?" Keita asked.
"Yeah... I know I shouldn't leave her alone as I'm supposed to watch over her in Haru's place." Itsuki said.
"Hmm, we do have a few more positions to be filled once the third years retire from the student council." Keita said.
"Nah, I bet we can just let her in as a volunteer. Too much responsibilities might crush her." Itsuki said.
"You're right, let's talk to her about that then." Keita said.
"Alright, it's homeroom time!" Ogura-sensei walks in.
"I've heard the news that Futaba-kun, Mikoto-san and Kiryu-kun is now a part of the student council, and their positions in the class committee will be passed to Natsuki-san and Hiyama-kun. Please talk to them if you have any class related matters." Ogura-sensei said.
"Wow, that made things easier." Itsuki said.
After school, the student council room is already occupied before Keita, Ayumi and Itsuki reached the room.
"Oh, you're finally here." Shinosuke said.
"We have something to inform you." Chisato said in a serious tone while clinging to Shinosuke's left arm.
"That's right. We will be heading out for our class trip for a few days, so you will have to deal with the students on your own, of course you may report to us at night." Mayoi said while snuggling with Shinosuke.
"I wanted to say that... Your actions doesn't really match your actions..." Ayumi said.
"Oh dear me... I'm sorry about that." Both Chisato and Mayoi sprang up and sits properly.
"That was so indecent..." Kamika said as she walks into the room.
"Ehh... We're about to do even more indecent things after this you know?" Mayoi said in a smug face.
"Wh-Whaaaa?!" Kamika steams up as she started to imagine what Mayoi meant.
"Wait! Stop! We can even see what you're imagining!" The others tried to stop Kamika.
"... So you're going on a class trip. I see, this is a good opportunity to hone our leadership while you senpais are away." Kamika said.
"Oh, what a good kid!" Mayoi shines.
"Stop it, Mayoi-chan, you'll scare her." Chisato tried to stop Mayoi from patting Kamika's head.
"It really does feel nostalgic to be here..." Shinosuke sighed.
"We might have already said before, you senpais are always welcomed here." Keita said.
"Ahh, what a good kid!" Shinosuke shines.
"Stop it... Huh?" Chisato tries to stop Shinosuke from pulling out a shogi set...?
"Keita-kun, are you good in this?" Shinosuke asked.
"Huh...?" Chisato sits down and sips her tea.
"I only knew the basics, I guess I can sit for a round." Keita accepted Shinosuke's challenge.
A few minutes later, Shinosuke lies on the floor in defeat.
"S-senpai?! I should have held back!" Keita said.
"Y-you're good..." Shinosuke wipes blood from his mouth.
"Wow... Senpai sure is dramatic in this..." Ayumi said.
"Ah, it took us a few days to find out despite he collected a lot of games in his room, he sucked at games." Mayoi said.
"Even games like this is really something..." Itsuki is at loss of words.
"But we still love him for that! Kyaaa..." Mayoi and Chisato squealed.
"Bruh, love really does change people huh..." Itsuki adjusts his black glasses.
"Gaaah! Too bright!" Ayumi and Kamika covers their eyes in the blinding light of love from the 'couple' in the room.
