"Woah, the atmosphere had changed a lot!" Itsuki laughed.
"I'm glad to see you having fun like this, senpai!" Ayumi cheered.
"So we're not disturbing anything right?" Kamika asked.
"... Let's not waste any more time. We're here for to listen to our results." Keita smiled as he said.
"Ooh! Kei-kun smiled, so cute!" Ayumi fawned.
"... Mikoto-san, we're in the student council room, please keep it down!" Kamika said.
"Well, have you seen both of their hands over there? They are going at it even in front of their kouhai!" Ayumi pointed.
"Eeeek!" Mayoi screamed.
"Ah! Mayoi, did you got hurt anywhere?!" Shinosuke's protective mode turned on.
"... Please don't bother about them, I'll take over things from here." Chisato said, embarrassed.
"... Please do." Keita chuckled.
"Erhem... Allow me to announce the results of your work a few weeks prior..." Mayoi said.
"Your efforts brought results, this is undeniable, proving your proposal was a valid one. I couldn't argue about this. But next time, you will need proof before anything could happen. In other words..."
"... You passed." Mayoi said after a long pause, building up the tension around Keita's group.
"Alright! We passed!" Itsuki, Ayumi and Kamika celebrated.
"We will now appoint one of you as the president, the vice president, secretary and treasurer." Mayoi said.
"A president? Of course it's going to be our leader, Keita!" Itsuki said.
"..." Keita has gotten used to it, he remained silent and accepted.
"About the vice president... Kiryu Itsuki." Mayoi announced.
"No, I'll leave it to Ayumi." Itsuki rejected.
"I see, so Mikoto Ayumi will become the vice president." Mayoi said.
"Eh?! Is that really easy to change?" Ayumi questions Mayoi's decision.
"I'm sure each of you had contributed in the operation in some kind of way. Although communicating with that great person is all from Keita himself." Mayoi said.
"I-I see..." Ayumi accepted the decision.
"Then who will be the secretary and treasurer?" Mayoi leaves the question to them.
"I'll take the treasurer." Itsuki decided.
"I see. I'll take the remaining one then." Kamika accepted.
"Then it is now settled." Mayoi sighs.
"We have spent the entirety of our school years running this place. It felt nostalgic all of a sudden." Mayoi sighs.
"You know? Maybe we'll leave the doors open for you even though you're no longer the student council members!" Ayumi said.
"Things sure will change over time. I appreciate the offer. But there is no reason for us to linger any longer. This room will be yours from next week onwards. We will have some work to complete before handing over the roles to you." Mayoi said.
"In the meantime, all of you are to remain here to learn the methods of handling each operations of the student council. We'll be strict, so please focus!" Shinosuke said.
"Uh... Sure, senpai." Keita and his friends responded.
Things became hectic in the student council room, from student records to club records, every day is busy.
"Excuse me... Oh, you're here too, Futaba... no, Keita" Ogura-sensei said.
"Is there anything I can help you with, Sensei?" Keita responded.
"You see, about you wanting to become the next student council president. Are you capable of taking the responsibilities of both your class duties and your duties as the honoured president of the student council?" Ogura-sensei asked.
"I seriously did not sign up for this." Keita sighed, the room became silent.
"But they nominated me because I'm trusted. So I should uphold my end of their trust. I will handle both of the duties. Not by myself this time, we all will help each other from now on." Keita said.
"Haha... You changed, it seems." Ogura-sensei chuckled.
"Sensei...?" Ayumi asked as she felt concerned.
"I expect great things from you, Keita." Ogura-sensei left, leaving those words behind.
"What was that about, Keita. You didn't just have some forbidden relationship with Ogura-sensei don't you?" Itsuki asked.
"Ogura Fuyuko, one of the many friends of my parents. Guess it was purely fate that we meet each other like this. I expect great guidance from her too." Keita said.
"So why did she came here again...?" Itsuki pointed out.
"Eh... About that..." The former student council members explains.
"That was so unsightly of me! I was supposed to tell them that my request of becoming the advisor of the student council have been approved, yet I went there and spouted some nonsense! What had I done..." Ogura-sensei contemplated.
"There you are, Ogura-sensei." Takahashi-sensei said as he spots Ogura-sensei outside the staff room.
"Takahashi-sensei, what happened?" Ogura-sensei asked.
"You see, a student of yours has been appointed as the next president of the student council. He was also a member of the art club. I was wondering if he can handle everything like this." Takahashi-sensei said, feeling concerned.
"That boy had came a long way. His mother has always been telling me how this boy behaved since his trauma from that accident years ago. He stopped making friends and became so distant. The current Futaba Keita we know of, has changed drastically since then. We as teachers should stand our own ground and watch over their growth, I'm sure he will be a remarkable student." Ogura-sensei said.
"Well said, Ogura-sensei. I'll trust him with that responsibility in that case." Takahashi-sensei said as he walks into the staff room.
"Quite a speech, Fuyu-nee!" Kanade walked up to Ogura-sensei.
"Ka- Kana! Didn't I told you not to call me with that name in school?" Ogura-sensei said, flustered.
"I've heard of it, Keita is getting appointed as the next president of the student council huh?" Kanade sighed.
"So what do think?" Ogura-sensei asked.
"At most I can do to help out is just as a volunteer, I'm pretty busy in my own clubs and so." Kanade said.
"Thank you, Kana. Please support Keita as much as you can in the future." Ogura-sensei said.
"Of course, Let's have dinner at my place, Fuyu-nee!" Kanade said.
"Kana!"
"Ahaha!"
"... I want to support Kei-kun too...!" Mio, who overheard the conversation decided herself to support Keita with everything she's got.
