"Ryujii, came to my life when I was much younger. I helped my mother with groceries, but I got lost on the way back. There is when he came to me, but he was too scary that time, I couldn't help but just crying." Yuuki said as she chuckles.
"Scary... Huh?" Ayumi commented.
"But then he told me that the twilight is such a beautiful thing, it happens for a short while, and it marks the end of the day. Isn't it breathtaking?" Yuuki said.
"Twilight huh...?" Ayumi thought.
"It turns out he wasn't as bad as the people around him said. I dragged him along to look at twilights together since then, I wasn't even thinking that twilight could be any meaningful or breathtaking, but the time I spend with him, it makes me feel that my life have some kind of meaning." Yuuki explained.
"Ugh... So you tricked the readers then..." Ayumi thought to herself.
"Day by day, we always watches the sun set, without noticing, my body gradually grow weaker. He's been there worrying about me all the time, until one day, I collapsed." Yuuki said.
"Your condition worsened?" Ayumi asked, Yuuki nodded in response.
"When I woke up, he ignored me, I was too weak to move around, but he never visited. My brother found the cure, the plan was to send me overseas to be treated. Ryujii did so because he wanted me to leave, he even asked Keita's mother to be his girlfriend. Looking back now, it's so funny." Yuuki smiles, looking at her bracelet.
"What? Seriously!" Ayumi is surprised at the complicated relationship.
"I was deceived at the time, I locked the door so no one could get in. The nurses got the key, so it doesn't matter. I just don't want to see anyone, or maybe I only want to see him." Yuuki said. Her eyes became teary, as she is about to reveal a sad episode of her past.
"Eventually, my brother dragged him to my room. He got beaten up by him, that's just so funny. Ahaha... He apologized to me with that beaten up face." Yuuki said as she laughs.
"Once I learned the truth, he promised me that only death will do us apart. He also explained that I will have to go overseas for treatment. I agreed and we spent time together until the day I leave." Yuuki said.
"I never knew..." Ayumi said as she tries to understand the story.
"If you said that I'm strong, I'm nothing without him supporting me." Yuuki said.
"I see... Actually... I love..." Ayumi said.
"Mikoto-san." Keita's voice reached from behind.
"Eh?!" Ayumi jolted.
"Good afternoon, aunt Yuuki." Keita greeted Yuuki.
"My, my... Kei-kun, why are you here?" Yuuki asked.
"I'm here to get a video game I pre-ordered last month. What are you two doing here?" Keita asked.
"We just happened to see each other." Ayumi said, despite her face is all red.
"Mikoto-san. Are you having a fever or something? Your face is red, and it's still spring." Keita asked.
"It's nothing!" Ayumi runs off.
"Huh... She's acting weird recently." Keita said.
"Are you two close with each other?" Yuuki asked.
"We're in the same class. She never talked much with me. You can say that she's Itsuki's friend though." Keita said.
"My my... Ayumi you need to work harder." Yuuki thought to herself.
"Then I shall be off, the trains gonna be messy if I got in late." Keita said.
"Sure, please be safe." Yuuki said as they parted ways.
"Love huh... Could she be... Ufufu, so they are already at this age huh? My my... I felt old already." Yuuki thought to herself as she chuckles along the way.
"Stupid Kei-kun!" Ayumi runs as she screamed internally. It appears that the endeavours of a maiden in love will continue on for a long time.
Meanwhile in M's, Itsuki is enjoying himself studying after some food. The bell attached to the door chimes, indicating a customer entering the cafe, it's Kanade.
"Miss owner! Same order as last time!" Kanade said as she walks in.
"K-Kanade-chan! How could she know what you order last time? You only came here once!" Mio said.
"Oh, you're Itsuki-kun? Why are you here?" Kanade asked as she spots Itsuki sitting alone after placing their orders at the counter.
"Ah, Kujou-senpai! I asked Keita and a classmate to study together, so the other classmate suggested here, so we came. It turns out this place is nice and comfy. So I decided to study here for today." Itsuki said.
"I see, I would rather go to the library instead." Kanade said.
"Um..." Mio is unsure what to do.
"Ah, you must be the Mio-senpai Keita is always talking about." Itsuki prompted a conversation.
"Eh? Is he always talking about me...?" Mio asked, surprised.
"Well, he does I'm gonna see her today and stuff. That's a different youth he's living in, I'm so jealous!" Itsuki said.
"I'm home." The bell attached to the door chimes, it's Ayumi coming home.
"Oh, Ayumi-chan!" Itsuki called. Both Kanade and Mio looked over to Ayumi.
"Wow... Talk about timing..." Ayumi thought to herself. She boldly walk to the kitchen and ordered for her lunch before going upstairs.
"Are you Ayumi-chan?" Kanade asked. This sudden question surprised Ayumi.
"Eh...? Of course I am, my name's Ayumi, you know? Ehehe..." Ayumi said.
"Ayumi Fujiwara, is it?" Kanade asked.
"Oh, her name is Ayumi Mikoto, guess it's natural for having the same name in the same city?" Itsuki said.
"You're right..." Kanade agreed.
"I'm sorry for getting worked up." Kanade apologizes.
"It's fine." Ayumi said as she hurries upstairs.
"She's like that, but it's not really hard to get along with her." Itsuki said.
"I see... She must be a good girl then." Kanade said.
"I'm sorry that she caused a scene... I ask all of you to take good care of my daughter." Mikoto said as she serves Kanade and Mio's orders.
The three of them enjoyed a quiet evening together, each with their own doubts in mind.
