"so, these are the dresses which I selected for you the pink is for you Anupama, blue for Emily and finally the maroon for you Aadvika" he told them after suggesting that they can also change their dresses to any other dress if they don't like them
"why did you choose pink for me instead of red, last time you told me that red matches me the most" Anupama asked him with a serious look looking at her pink dress which is quite opposite to her character
"if I was to choose red this time that fiancé of your will kill me for sure as red will bring out the sexy look in women and most of them would usually select red for these occasions to attract opposite gender" he explained her but even before Anupama can speak Aadvika interrupted them
"I would like to change my color to white if you don't mind or blue, infact I can exchange the dress chosen for me with Emily as the maroon is too bold of a color for me" Aadvika told him to which he immediately shook his head not agreeing with her as if his life is hanging on a thin thread
"you can't do that after carefully considering I chose that dress for you and it is a big no no when it comes to you changing the dress as it will suit you the most compared to other dresses here" he told her as he dragged her towards the maroon dress which was standing out compared to the other dresses in the room and this was one of the reasons why Aadvika decided against it as it is not fair for Anupama who actually introduced him to them
"it's alright Aadvika that dress really suits you the most and he had a reason if I were to wear a dress something like that then that fiancé of mine will go mad and might lock me from the eyes of others" Anupama told her and after some request and begging from the three of them Aadvika agreed to keep the dress
"how much is it and is net banking available here" Aadvika initiated about the amount as she knew that he will not charge Anupama to it according to their conversation otherwise her fiancé will kill him for sure and Emily might not look in to these matters that much as she can pay after to Anupama
"no way, how can I charge my reputable and valuable guests, consider them as my meeting gifts for you both and Anupama I will not forget to collect money for your dress from your fiancé" he told her with a grin on his face making Anupama blush at his words and also glare at him for making fun of her infront of her friends
"I can't do that the dress looks so fine and work on it might have taken lot of time for you to complete, then how can I take it for free of cost, it is like an insult to your creation" Aadvika told him making George respect her even more as she gave importance to the designs and respect to the designer's thoughts
"and this statement of yours made me another reason for me to not accept money from you so please consider this small request of mine and forget about the payment, if you feel so guilty then on your next payment, I will not give you any discount till your debt is clearly how does that sound" he told her to which Aadvika agreed reluctantly making him heave a sigh of relief which does not escape her eyes
"Alright so I will ask someone to take your measurements and will alter them to fit for you and also select some matching jewellery and accessories to these dresses. You can come early in the morning that day so that I can personally style you"
"Okay" Anupama told him before these both make any other interruption making them both shut their mouths
Soon few ladies came to take their measurement after which they bid him farewell saying that they will meet him again on the D-day
Thanks to Anupama there shopping finished before time and they went to a small restaurant near to the shop which they visited as there is very less time and they also need to arrive campus on time
After having lunch in the restaurant, they booked cab again back to campus and Aadvika arrived exactly on time as everyone was getting ready for the next match and the competition was about to start
"they have already decided the teams for the semi-finals we are playing with the computer science students and the other two teams are going to play in the other court" one member in their team told her the movement Aadvika came inside
"get ready fast we need to go and you are there in first part of the match as we don't want you to get tired for the finals" captain told her as she patted Aadvika on her shoulder before she told everyone to get ready and meet her at the court
Aadvika went inside to get changed and came outside fully prepared for the next match before joining others for the match but the movement she came outside she saw that the audience are increased this time and suddenly she saw Vihaan along with the other three sitting on one corner very near to the court
"Aadvika come fast" one member called her making her come out from her stupefied expression looking at the person among the audience
"coming" she told them and walked towards them as the referee throwed the ball standing in the middle making the start of the competition
Aadvika took the chance to take the ball as it is being passed by the opponent's team bouncing the ball few times in her hand as she jumped in the air to throw the ball towards the basket and as expected the ball fell in the basket with perfect accuracy making the people around them clap as they gained the point
As soon as Aadvika's foots touched the ground she hissed in pain as her legs lost the momentum not because of the sudden jump but because of the injury she received on her foots because of the pressure between her foots and shoes
