"Aadvika will not participate in the finals in the today match she had other important things to do" the team captain told them and everyone agreed to it as they already heard her saying that she had the same blood group required by the hospital
With a small thanks and gratitude towards them she left the court with the same clothes as she doesn't want to delay it any further and both Emily and Anupama followed her outside because she was leaving the room while she needs to attend the finals in half an hour
"Aadvika where are you going" Emily asked her as they followed very closely behind her and unknown to them even Vihaan and the other three also left the court the movement the announcement is made
"I had the same blood group as the person who need the blood and I can't risk a person's life for some medals and achievements" she told them as they rushed towards the hospital emergency ward and within ten minutes, they reached the hospital as it is not that far from the basket ball court
"I heard the announcement did anyone came to donate blood" Aadvika asked the receptionist who sat at the front desk
"no one came till now and since the blood group is very rare it is highly difficult task to find the blood in short amount of time"
"I need to make a phone call" she told them and asked Emily who was behind her to give her mobile as she kept her mobile in locker
Emily came forward along with Anupama to give her mobile and to ask her if everything is alright
Aadvika simply took the mobile from her and made a call after entering a string of numbers before the call on the other side got connected
"bring the Rh-negative blood which was stored in the blood bank to the university A hospital as fast as you can it is emergency" she told them and the person told her that he will be there in another ten to fifteen minutes before she hung up the call
"why to ask someone to give blood when you already have the same blood group" Anupama asked her as she was worried that Aadvika is simply wasting her time unnecessarily
But without answering her she went towards the Operation theatre where the patient is there to see if he can last till the blood arrives
"Professor Ronin, what are you doing here?" Aadvika asked him little surprised to see him infront of the OT waiting anxiously
"what are you doing here?" he asked in return but not to Aadvika but the boys who closely followed behind
"it is an emergency and we being here might help a little as we can arrange the blood with our connections" they replied to which he nodded before he turned towards Aadvika with grave expression contemplating whether to tell her or not
"Aadvika the patient inside is…" as he was about to say the doctor from inside came to ask whether there is any donor as the condition of the patient is getting very critical
"have you found any one with his blood group" he asked Ronin the movement he came outside but bowed to the all four boys the movement he saw them and turned towards the three girls who were also there along with them
"perhaps has anyone of you had the same blood group as the patient" he asked them hoping for a positive response from them
"she had the same blood group doctor" Anupama told him as her doctor instincts rushed her to help the person lying inside struggling for his life
"that's good wait here I will send the nurse to collect the blood sample from you and if everything looks good then we can start the transfusion" he told her as he turned to call the nurse but Aadvika response made him furious with anger
"I indeed had the same group as the patient but I can't donate my blood to him" she told him and before he can say something in anger or in frustration, she again spoke making him to sign in relief
"but I already informed someone to send the blood from blood bank here and he will arrive at any minute"
"then why did you come here if you can't donate your blood" the doctor asking her as he was still furious that she rejected to give blood which might save the patient in need
"that blood is arranged by my family and they are paying money to store it in blood bank to save any of our family members in future in case of emergencies and without my consent even if the blood is arrived you can't use it on the patient" she explained him and he nodded in understanding as he himself knows the rules and regulations of the hospitals
"but why can't you donate your blood Aadvika what if something were to happen to him by the time that person brings the blood here" Anupama asked her as she was so furious that her friend has refused to give the blood without thinking about the reason behind her decision
"the reason why I couldn't donate blood is I had undergone a major surgery just a month and half back and I am still recovering from that surgery at this rate no hospital will accept my blood even if I fill the consent form taking whole responsibility on me as no doctor will allow one person to risk his life to save others" Aadvika explained them making them stunned especially Vihaan who stood there frozen
"and if I did risk my life and donate blood and if something were to happen to me then there is this person who will destroy all the people behind the cause of me getting hurt or sick without batting his eyelid" Aadvika told them as she looked straight at Vihaan
"Who is that person your boyfriend, your lover or someone very important in your life" Emily asked her to lighten the dark and grumpy environment around them as she knew that Aadvika will never let anything happen to the person inside
