"M-My father?" Noah said. He had never seen his father nor known anything about him so he wanted to know more about what was hidden from him…
"Well, your father was someone with a kind heart who would help many people and bring in injured animals so he could tend to their needs…When I first saw him he looked like an angel. I could barely see. But he brought me in with eagerness. I wasn't expecting the kindness I got because I didn't think anyone would want me for what I did but to him it didn't matter…he was giving me a second chance." Cap'n Buck paused.
"5 years later when I was 18 I left. He did say I could leave at any time but I didn't want to, for some reason. I wanted to stay and be his friend. He was of course younger than me only being 7 years old when he brought me in but I knew that he was someone I could trust and had to behave with."
"So my father is a good man…" Noah said.
"Yes he is." Cap'n Buck replied.
