Noah playfully touched the small green tree known as broccoli as he pondered and pondered whether or not to interrogate Cap'n Buck about the 'Upstairs Is Off Limits' Rule.
It was still a beautiful afternoon. The trees were swaying lazily above the happy, aromatic flowers. The huge ball of gas in the sky, that bared the yellow color, twirled around the active planet as if it were dancing. The mansion was as grand as its ever been. The brown slabs of cement surround the building in an apparent order that appeals to many audience for may-a-mile. The double-glazed windows stand proudly as they should to make use of the time they have on this very house that Cap'n Buck used to live with his parents.
Noah was still picking at his food when Cap'n Buck noticed the young boy's lack of digestion.
"Hey Pip. You're not hungry?" Cap'n Buck inquired cheerily.
"N-No...I am but...can I ask you a question?" Noah looked at Cap'n Buck with serious and curious eyes.
"Yes...Have I answered it?"
"No..." Noah said as Cap'n Buck guffawed until he felt his sides pain with joy.
"Well, my question is... Why am I forbidden to go upstairs?" Noah observed Cap'n Buck steadily.
"Well, I...uh well, I said not to go upstairs because over there..." Cap'n Buck points upwards to the second floor.
"...is where me and Pyriko used to play the most...and also where I spent my time with my Mam and Pops."
Noah's eyes softened to the expression Cap'n Buck radiated: Sadness and regret.
"Um...then what about the area around the mansion? I know that you said that the fire spread from the fabric but... it wouldn't devour this ALL would it?" Noah asked.
"After I left your father's residence I did come back here and I found the same thing as I did now. A wasteland with no life, no hope, no salvation. I was horrified.
But then I found the answer to this scene by a passerby known as Lydia. She actually was one of the townsfolk that didn't get mad at me and Pyriko. I was happy.
However, my happiness faded when she uttered the name of the culprit who wiped out everything except the mansion...Do you want to know who it was?"
Noah nodded with eager fascination.
"Well Pip...It was my father."
