Chapter 19 - Arc 0.19: The Beginning of My Nightmare

Qin Shimei was left flabbergasted.

An Zing looked at Qin Shimei, currently lying on the bed with her hands behind her back. He walked over with the duck tape. He was about to tape her mouth when Qin Shimei scowl at him. "Don't you dare!"

An Zing stopped and rubbed the back of his head. Ah, boss, why do you have to leave the complicated tasks for me! He complained to himself.

"Um, sorry Miss Qin, I have to follow my boss order."

When Qin Shimei heard the same statement, she only gave him a smile but that smile did not reach her eyes. She looked down at An Zing's lower region which sent a cold shiver down his spine.

Qin Shimei put on a pitiful face. "Ah, why does your statement sound familiar… oh yes, how is your friend's balls doing? I hope he is still able to reproduce properly after that kick… after all I wa-"

Her words were cut off once An Zing quickly placed the duck tape over her mouth and zoomed out of the room, not forgetting to shut the door.

Qin Shimei sneered inwardly. How long must she stay here?

Qin Shimei's eyebrow twitched as she got even more furious at her predicament. She took a deep breath and laid her head down on the mattress. She closed her eyes to calm herself down and thought of a plan to leave.

While standing outside of the bedroom door, An Zing wiped away the cold sweat forming on his forehead.

An Zing let out a deep breath that he didn't realize he was holding in and whispered, "What a scary woman." Not wanting to stay there any longer, he quickly descended down the stairs to relax in the living room while calming down his frightened heart. He sat down on the luxury royal blue couch and placed the JBL headphones over his ears to listen to his favorite music on the iPad. He slowly dozed off into dreamland.

In the black Mercedes-Benz car, Ju-long stared at the petri dish that contained a fresh red liquid. The fresh red liquid was actually Qin Shimei's blood from her neck. Even though it has been more than ten minutes since he left the mansion, the blood in the petri dish did not coagulate, but instead is form like a red pearl, looking fresh and shiny.

"An Zhu, go to the laboratory."

An Zhu looked back at Ju-long from the rear view mirror.

An Zhu curiously asked, "Boss, you think..." He stopped his sentence, knowing how sensitive the topic is and not wanting to disappoint his boss.

Not knowing what else to say, his eyes focused on the petri dish for another few seconds and turned to An Jin, sitting in the passenger seat with a cold pack between his legs. An Zhu shook his head with a deep sigh and pulled his attention back to the road, heading to their private laboratory.

Back in Ju-long's big mansion, a certain woman formed an elaborate scheme to get out!

Qin Shimei opened her eyes and lifted her head to look at her surroundings. She glanced at the door for a few seconds to see if there was a movement or a shadow underneath the door. When everything seemed to be clear, she wiggled herself to the edge of the bed and used her feet to turn herself around. Once she settled herself to sit up on the edge of the bed, she used her flexibility to twist her arms to loop under her, having her legs crossing over her tied hands. She ripped off the tape from her mouth and use her teeth to untie the knots.

Qin Shimei was thankful for General Zhi's training. Just thinking back when Zhi Ruo and her were doing a hostage-rescue training with the black ops, along with General Zhi's personal army, brought a sweet smile on her face. Ah, it was one of those adrenaline rush moments, Qin Shimei thought to herself.

A cold light flashed through her rare gem-like, beautiful eyes. She got up from the bed and headed straight to the bathroom to wash off the blood from her neck. Qin Shimei reached the bathroom and turned on the lights. She turned on the water and glanced at the mirror with her head tilted sideways to expose her neck. However, her face was stupefied!

What the actual hell? "Where is it? Where..." A flashback of Ju-long's touch on her neck popped up. "How?" She examined her smooth, jade-like neck. There was no bite mark and blood! It's like the bite never happened! A cold shiver ran down her spine. "I need to get out quick!"

Qin Shimei turned off the faucet and stalked straight to the door. She stopped and leaned her ear against the door with her hand on the knob. She listened closely for any sound on the opposite side. Hearing no one, she slowly opened the door and peeked. When she took the first step out of the room, her heels made a clicking sound on the tile floor.

Qin Shimei inwardly cursed herself. Dang it, her high heels!

Qin Shimei quickly took off her heels and sneaked down the stairs. She looked around in the living room and spotted An Zing sitting down on the couch facing away from her. She slowly crept towards him while peering around to see if there was anyone else.

When Qin Shimei finally got closer to An Zing, she felt relieved that the man fell asleep with headphones on. Even though she was a couple feet away from An Zing, she can hear the music being played.

Ah… listening to him enjoying BTS songs made a shadow cast over her features. This man… was he supposed to be scary? It didn't seem so. For a moment, the woman wondered why Ju-long left her in his hands, he wasn't a very good babysitter.

Well, Qin Shimei really can't blame him. Their songs were good, plus their choreography, handsome faces, and fashion just add another bonus to their fame.

Qin Shimei sighed and focused back to her task. She glanced at the elegant coffee table and saw a key, her broken cell phone, her mini handbag, and another cell phone that seemed to belong to An Zing. Qin Shimei looked back at the sleeping An Zing.

Qin Shimei internally apologized to him. Um, sorry Mr. An, I have to follow my own instincts to escape from your perverted demon boss! May the gods have mercy on you!

With that, she steeled her heart and didn't feel pity for the man. Her life was much more important!
