Zhi Ruo anxiously called out, "Sh-Shimei, what happened to your wrists?"
Qin Shimei can feel a murderous vibe coming out from Zhi Ruo's body. She had never seen her best friend like this before! Zhi Ruo is the type who is clumsy, friendly, geeky, and caring. Zhi Ruo is also a short tempered person, but never like this! The murderous aura was so strong that it was embedded in Zhi Ruo's flesh and bones. She looked at her best friend's eyes, still concentrating on the red marks and bruises on the wrists. Zhi Ruo's eyes showed killing intentions, and it really did seem like she was going to cause a murder! This caused Qin Shimei's legs to quiver. She began to tremble a little, fully in shock at this sort of situation.
Qin Shimei timidly replied, "Zhi Zhi, I'm fine."
"This—how can this be fine?" Zhi Ruo didn't realize how much strength she used to lift Qin Shimei's wrists up to eye level.
The pain on her wrists made Qin Shimei drop the car keys and her grocery bags on the floor. It unexpectedly even made the pack of tampons and pregnancy test to fly out. The noise finally made Zhi Ruo snap out of it. She quickly recomposed her murderous aura and the killing.
Crap! I almost exposed myself to her! Zhi Ruo cursed to herself. Zhi Ruo worriedly look at Qin Shimei. "Sorry, Little Shimei. I couldn't think straight. Go sit down, I will apply some ointment on the bruises."
Zhi Ruo felt guilty hiding the thirst for blood running through her veins from her best friend... and it had been six years. She was only nice and caring to her love ones, but towards her enemies was quite different. To them, she was the infamous well known assassin, a medical genius, and an elite hacker. The Black Widow is what they call her, but no one had seen her actual face because of a mask she always wore. If her face was shown to them, they would know Zhi Ruo is the daughter of General Zhi, which will bring disaster upon her family and her friend.
In order to keep her loved one safe, she worked as a computer engineer as a cover and hidden her other half from her family and Qin Shimei.
Qin Shimei saw Zhi Ruo reverting back to her old self, but did not know the thoughts going through her friend's mind. Qin Shimei let out a relieved sigh, not realizing she held this whole time!
Zhi Ruo crouched down to grab the stuff that fell down onto the floor. She grabbed the keys lying next to the bag. She took a glance at it and knew that the keys were probably from Wang Ju-long. She pretty much guessed that Qin Shimei escaped from him and drove his car home, but what she didn't have a clue that Qin Shimei is now the owner of the car.
Zhi Ruo continued picking up the messes turned her gaze at the two packets lying on the floor. She snatched the tampons and was about to reach the next packet when her hand paused. When Qin Shimei saw that her stop, she followed her gaze on the last packet.
Oh no! Qin Shimei inwardly panicked.
Zhi Ruo quickly grabbed the pack of pregnancy tests before Qin Shimei could reach for it. Zhi Ruo got up, looking at Qin Shimei while holding up the packet.
With an interrogating look, Zhi Ruo questioned her. "Qin Shimei, mind telling me what this is about?"
Qin Shimei couldn't face Zhi Ruo's serious face. She looked down at her own shoes. Since her best friend was standing close in front of her, she saw that Zhi Ruo still have shoes on, but she wore black leather high heeled boots. Qin Shimei had a curious expression on her face as well. She slowly observed Zhi Ruo's outfit.
Along with those boots, she wore black leather tights hugging her long attractive legs. A black leather trench coat over a a long sleeve black corset top and leather gloves that showed her bare jade-like fingers.
Qin Shimei raised her eyebrows and asked, "Zhi Zhi, did you just come back home?"

Zhi Ruo body stiff up. However, she quickly relaxed so Qin Shimei didn't notice her strange action. Zhi Ruo took out the key from her pocket and showed it to Qin Shimei.
"Of course, I have to make sure your birthday present is safe enough for you to ride it."
How is Zhi Ruo going to tell Qin Shimei that she came back home to change into her assassin outfit, how she hack into Ming Xi's security cameras, and sneaked inside her mansion to ruin the slut's face to revenge for Qin Shimei?
She gave the key to Qin Shimei. The woman glanced at the plain looking key. Zhi Ruo rolled her eyes when she saw Qin Shimei's confused look.
"It is the key for the Suzuki Hayabusa. Your dream bike that you wanted."
Qin Shimei look at Zhi Ruo with excitement. But Qin Shimei's face quickly changed when Zhi Ruo waved the pregnancy test, requesting for a good explanation.
Qin Shimei took a deep breath. She reached for the pregnancy test from her best friend's hand.
"Remember back at the elevator that I would tell you about the relation between Ju-long and me?"
Duh! How can Zhi Ruo forget? At the time when she saw Qin Shimei's aura change was when Ming Xi that slut tried to start a fight with her Little Shimei, and how the perverted Wang Ju-long was eyeing her best friend! As an infamous assassin, she was sensitive to her surroundings. She also felt a strong and dangerous intent leaking out from his body, like it didn't belong in this world. But Zhi Ruo did not think much about it too much because it was impossible.
Qin Shimei inhaled another breath as Zhi Ruo suddenly had a bad feeling about this.
Qin Shimei motioned Zhi Ruo to the living room. "Let's sit down first."
As the two sat down on the couch, Qin Shimei proceeded telling about the hotel incident and how it was related to Wang Ju-long.
Zhi Ruo shot up from the couch and angrily exclaimed, "What? Are you saying you might be pregnant with that Wang bastard's child!?"
