"This world has seven continents, and the continent I'm in is called Acela Continent... they are all separated with seas? What load of crap is this?!" A week passed Adam spent all his time reading the history of this world.
Since he got assigned as the librarian of the kingdom, he was several times visited by the king asking questions and so on and got a request to be a protector of this kingdom for the time being. Adam didn't refuse nor agree and only said he would think about it.
Today, he learned that this world consists of seven continents, three deadly seas, and a lost continent they call The Supreme Continent.
This continent has many kingdoms from 3rd grade to 1st grade. The 3rd-grade alone has 21 kingdoms, 10 from 2nd-grand and 3 from 1st-grade. Therefore, it's not strange for many wars to occurred in the 3rd-grade kingdoms.
"Simply the drop of water, huh? This world sure is vast!" Adam sitting on the slub of the staircase stands up and places the book back on the shelf. Adam was about to go down when he noticed something black from his arm slithering as it crawls all over his body.
Regularly this thing would wake up every day and crawl his body like a snake, and at night it would stop on Adam's wrist, forming a bracelet tattoo. Adam tried any means to communicate to it but to no avail. Ignoring it for now, Adam went down to read more books.
"Do you plan on cooping on this library again!? Come with me!" The door opens as a gorgeous lady entered the library with a black crow on her shoulder, striding towards Adam.
Adam sighed, closing the book he was reading as he closes his eyes, accepting the fate that was about to follow.
On account of her, and the crow getting close on who knows when. She also visits Adam in the library every morning to ask about things or the crow's behavior, which he was too doesn't know about like her father. At first, he doesn't want to associate anything with this young lady due to the strong punch he received that day. Eventually, he gave up any resistance and cold shoulder from constant pestering every day.
Compared to the first impression Leia gave him, it was god d*mn romantic! The way she untied him as he smells her fragrant hair up close. That's why out of instinct, he hugged her for the sake of the romantic atmosphere, except romance sometimes has a backslash plot, and that's where he was now. As a result, Adam was in a coma for days.
Leila pulled Adam's hand to where he was sitting by a large window not far from where she entered.
"Where are we going this time?" Asked Adam as he read his book while being carried by the crow on its claw with Leila board on its back flying in the sky.
"You'll know it." Traversing through forest and planes soon enough, a view of an almost destroyed rocky land with a giant hole in it appeared in their sights.
"What's this place?" This question surprised Leila at first. But shortly, she remembers that, after the explosion, he was on the statue barely, hanging to his little bits of consciousness.
'What about before it happened?'
"It's where we found you passed out. Don't you remember when my guard almost killed you?"
As they got closer to land, Adam felt his blood boiling for some reason then his body started feeling hot all over. Leila senses the squirms of Adam. Noticing something was wrong, she urges the crow to descend faster, but the crow is also having issues as little black flames emit on its feathers.
A horrified expression swiftly changes to shocked when she realized the flames were not hurting her but instead, it was cleansing her skin and removing her past small scars.
Adam, who was still struggling from the scorching heat, tried to unclutch the claw's because he couldn't endure it any longer and merely want to be free from his clothing to feel the cooling air.
Leila was greatly alarmed because they were still high up in the air, and a fall from here even from Ruby Qi practitioner would think twice jumping this high.
As the crow's flame gets bigger, it screeched, and black clouds rose from its flames like last time it began coating the crow. Meanwhile, Adam stopped struggling after the crow's scream closing his eyes as he went mediate the scorching hotness he was feeling. However, a sudden familiar yet not entered his body, helping him to counter the unknown heat.
The battle of supremacy in his body lasts for an hour. Adam opened his eyes when he heard someone. He was shocked to find Leila was floating in front of him, pulling something from her neck as she squirms like some unseen was strangling her but soon found out that unseen entity was him, his right hand was raised, towards the princess with a display of gripping someone from the neck.
Upon realization, he immediately put down his arm and thought, if he was a minute late, he might have killed another innocent person due to carelessness.
(Coughing!)
"Y-you!... you a-are... a g-god.. ?" Trying to catch up her breath, after she was flop down to the ground as she stares at Adam with mixed emotions.
"*You are here at last, young lord.*"
Looked of puzzlement appeared on Adam, about to say something to the princess, but he turns his head to look at the giant statue of a man, standing holding a sword embedded between his feet. If his hearing is not tripping him, then this tall stone of a man with a weapon just talked to him.
"*Welcome to your first trial, young lord. Now let's begin!*"
Adam tilted his head to gaze at the statue with a questioning look. However, it didn't last long as the structure suddenly pulled the sword, raising it high like a majestic hero to slay evil. Then the sword came bearing down to Adam.
