"Glad you're okay Lieutenant."
After a deep sigh, Masamune quoted, break the wheel of silence, sat beside Miyako in Imperial Medical Care.
While Raizen Supermaxim permanently shut down, as the entire prison infrastructure collapsed dropped into the ocean, there were some, who survived the ordeal, escaped through the emergency Airborne.
After knowing Miyako Fukumori one of those survivors, Masamune waste no time checking in on her, for an hour Miyako stayed silent, sat on the bed, brooding over the incident.
"Look. I won't be going anywhere. Until you talk to me." Masamune remarked, "You remember anything? Who the attacker was, what they wanted?"
"You know why don't you ask Renkik Yito, he's one of your subordinates? Why not try him?" Miyako questioned, silent Masamune and his shallow resentment about this world.
"I just want to know how you doing!?" Masamune faintly answered, realising of his selflessness of accomplishing his own goals without the care of others feel of his suicidal vendetta
"Alright... It was Redtron's and 'The Fraternity of Mutants' that's what they called themselves. And he's the new Mutant Emperor now."
"Who...?"
"Takamatsuke Hatteki, otherwise known as, Akagi Shinsuke!"
"...." Masamune gulped, suppressed the anxiousness, while Miyako spoke in vivid gory description just for Masamune to visualise how much she went through—
"When the last moment before I collapsed unconscious. 'Stop!' I heard several of them cried, but horns and drums and the clash of steel, loud echoes of gunfire exchange smothered my command, including their pleads of mercy. That blindfolded mutant buried the head of his Noryoku-axe in Raizen guardsman's stomach, decapitated him swiftly as he bent down. By then men were pouring in the other doors as well, couple of armed mutants in leather uniform with steel in their hands. Fucking deviant! I took them for rescue for half a heartbeat, till one mutant struck the another one's head off with two huge blows of his axe. Hope blew out like a candle in a storm. Still I continue to the journey went to basement floor when I saw—"
Miyako paused, clear image of Nakajo Tomotaki flash over top of her head, refused to believe the fact, she shook her head fanatically.
"You saw what?"
"Saw... I saw... Claire's mangled corpse, Hm, broken glass at my feet."
"Jeez..." a deep puff sigh from Masamune's lips, paused, went speechless in as result, "Look...I'm sorry..."
Miyako momentarily ogle behind before misunderstanding occurs, she clearly claimed—
"Why you're apologising to me? It has nothing to do with you, just former partners. Just my luck ran out into misfortunes."
Regardless what she claimed her face shown the truth every Masamune able to detect. The subtle hesitation, a narrow line of redness on the cheek.
"Heh," Masamune chuckled,
"What you're laughing at?"
"It's nothing just, few minutes ago: you said, it's has nothing to do with me. But you know it does. I would've more than sad if something happens to you, Miyako — not a Terrarium Knight Lord... Instead as a friend, who lose a person who cared about him."
"UH-uh...!?"
"Besides before we'd too deep I must ask, what are you going to do about the Fraternity's, and their leader The Second Redtron. His powers, influence, organisation and status grow daily... What he will intend to do will be far more dangerous."
"I agree..."
"Since how long we've an agreement together?"
"Hehe. (Chuckled)"
Smoothing both moods, Miyako frankly answered,
"I gonna enlisted back to the Special Divisional Wing. There will be no peace until the mutant's radicals have been taken care of..."
"Well said my dear..."
A strange, yet attractive woman with dark purple hair that she ties in a bun with a white ribbon, a strand of hair hanging on the left along with her bangs tucked behind her right ear and light blue eyes. Knocked into Miyako's room, Surprised Masamune a bit inquired her
"Eh? you're... –"
"--That's Iwai Tsuyke The Iron woman of Valkyrie and Maiden Commander." Miyako answered stead, with little excitement flourish over her long-jaded-face, "Heard so much about you as Maiden Commander, both in field and inside which commands and administrates the entire Valkyrie Order."
Each Maiden Commander superior is subservient only to the will of the Valkyrie. —
After Ichiro came to power, he divided whole Valkyrie Order into smaller groups:
Apart from Imperial Airborne Valkyrie- the Order into three main divisions; each have Maiden Commanders—An overall senior commanding officer of one of the Valkyrie, each a veteran warrior of many dozens of battles who has risen to her position through a combination of strong leadership, shrewd tactical genius and sheer overarching faith in the Empire.
And Iwai Tsuyke is the perfect example for the honourable role. Though she is ostensibly answerable to the prioress of her Convent, a Commander's superior knowledge of battle inevitably holds sway concerning military matters. There are several subdivisions of this rank, and lacking her Deputy-commander alongside.
Wears professional a dark suit; not so typical of the Brittonian military uniform, or Valkyrie Techno Suit when at field and she also have a small mole on the lower right corner of her mouth.
"Lord Masamune? Lieutenant Miyako and I have to discuss would you excuse us please?"
"Of course."
"Wait!"
Masamune honoured the Tsuyke's request, about to left the room, halted by Miyako, he turned—
"I be seeing you again Lord Masamune?"
Miyako asked lastly, expresses rich and subtle meaning,
"I owe you for saving my life, never got the chance to pay you back."
Masamune smiled back, replied to her question before leaving,
"I'm not going anywhere, especially when the country needs me..."
"Alright, Maiden Command—"
"Tsuyke please... I have an offer I like you to consider,"
Tsuyke sat beside Miyako with legs crossed over the other, gave a digital tablet file, politely insisted to follow the procedure. For a senior military officer of Brittonia, she showed no vainly attitude, contrasts to other individuals in her ranks, instead she conducts herself in an extremely professional manner, always speaking in a very serious, professional fashion. Her cool, straightforward demeanour contrasts with her more lively associates, giving her an air of elegance.
"Looking at your profile, military training, you were Senior personnel of 15th Lex Unit Division. Is that correct?"
"That's correct. Remind me what's that about?"
"You survived Raizen's attack. Others not so much, whom skilled enough to analyse what we are up against. You're skilled soldier Miyako Fukumori... The one who saw the Fraternity in action first hand, and bright enough to interpret their strengths, weakness, and numbers,"
"I have...."
"(Sighed) I want you to be my Deputy-commander of my Valkyrie, Order of Divisional Wing of Valkyrie/The Valkyrie Division. Specialised nation's internal affairs, for investigating and preventing acts of domestic and international terrorism. It is the lead Imperial agency for investigating attacks involving weapons of mass destruction—those involving chemical, radiological, or biological agents or Fallen related weapons, or Mutanic war instigators."
"Order of Divisional Wing of Valkyrie? You're in charge of it?"
"Yes, one partly. The other two were whole different units. Tasked to do specific jobs."
Two of those subdivisions are—
•The Order of Crimson Rose under the leadership of Maiden Commander Amira functionality-- special in frontline combat, melee and marksmanship experts. Heavily on firepower. Heavy support infantry battalions.
• The Order of the Sacred Raven. Major Natalia Yomoni (Codename—Silver Witchblade as a division leader in fields campaigns, special in reconnaissance, strategy and stealthy type warfare.
"So? Are you up for it? Lieutenant. It's a golden opportunity for a payback."
Eyes swayed from the screen to Tsuyke's face, a new light of hope, radiant over as Miyako firmly response--
"It's an honour Miss Tsuyke. I accept your offer, what you have in mind."
