Chereads / The Darkfallen / Chapter 52 - Unholy Punishment

Chapter 52 - Unholy Punishment

One of their rooms in big Detention Centre, Akagi is experiencing brutal treatment,

His face covered with cloth or some other thin material, as he immobilized on his back at an incline of 10 to 20 degrees. Officers in charge are pouring water onto the face over the breathing passages, causing an almost immediate gag reflex and creating a drowning sensation for Akagi.

"I suffered many physical injuries but it nothing compare to this, It felt like I drowning in deep ocean, no sign of fresh air, water overflowing to my lungs, my mouth and nose, nearly suffocating me, I moved my limbs as strongly as I could, It feels like my hands about to break due to struggling against restraints",

"Hmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!" Akagi agonisingly humming, the cloth removed as follows he splitting down the stored water.

"Who hired you to infiltrated MRC? What else information, you passed?" the officer harshly questioned him,

"Gak!"

Akagi coughed and throaty replied, "I told you I'm not a spy, I took one document for my own, I didn't sell them, nobody hired me, I studied there",

Not believing that, the officer grabbed Akagi's heads "WHO HIRED YOU TO INFILTRATE MRC!", he unbearably screaming at him

"The sweet less juice that I drank" Akagi thought, "Was a diluted parasitic serum, as I knew already, it temporary disabled my Mutants powers turned me into a more or less a human.

After Akagi's abduction, the Spectres decided to send him, one of their Black site Detention Centre.

"After they tried to convicted me as a terrorist's informant, they send me one of their Black site,

A black site is a location at which an unacknowledged black operation or black project is conducted. It can refer to the facilities that are control by the Spectres and use by the Empire in so call Attack on Mutant Terrorism to detain alleged unlawful enemy combatants"

"I didn't know then I acknowledge that I'm in a Military prison specially for Mutants, and surprisingly many humans radicals or suspects for treason.

An Internment is the imprisonment of people, commonly in large groups, without charges, or intent to file charges, and thus no trial. The term especially used for the confinement".

"Of enemy citizens in wartime or of terrorism suspects", thus, while it can simply mean imprisonment, it tends to refer to preventive confinement, rather than confinement after having been convicted of some crime. I used of those terms are subject to debate and political sensitivities, and that's how I view it".

"Within few days I already suffered some of their techniques, I heard many they interrogated brutal methods. Methods used include beating, binding in contorted stress positions, hooding, subjection to deafening noise, sleep disruption, starvation, sleep deprivation to the point of hallucination, as well as waterboarding, walling, etc."

"Lucky for me I experienced some of them, and yet keep wondering how long will my luck last, during my interrogation, officer constantly screaming at me, asking same fucking question all over again, not finding anything they send me to my cell. Even after I became a mutant, get inhuman powers, though they get hungry and thirsty like any humans, Detention's rules that every prisoners are allow to eat once after two days, but those bastards intentionally wouldn't allow any food to my cells, for days even weeks without eating or drinking anything, so many days I agonised, without water, felt like I have to drink my piss, my insides became like a dried desert still they haven't get any food or water, moreover confinement me in small coffin-like boxes for 6 hours,

The metal door cracks, throwing Akagi into his cell then shut up again

Akagi spreads his limbs, lying on steel floor,

"I lived in a cell 2 paces across and 4 paces long, sleeps on a concrete slab to sit down, and a small toilet, simply told the Detention Centre is clear version of pure hell, nevertheless I spent most of time in tiny box, crouched down like a snail, counting minutes in the darkness, I always heard bone cracked sounds when I stretched them".

"Having a rough day, Mr Shinsuke?" a lighter voice echoed though Akagi's cell,

Akagi looked up "Yeah, Hiro!" he said to Hiro who standing beside his cell.

"I didn't knew there were others like but when I talked Hiro, my neighbouring suspect, he told within months Spectres detained 2000 Mutants like me and him, put them in different non-existing jails throughout TYZ , he said they beat us and I agreed they beating me whole night with a metal knuckle on their fist, they screaming at me, prison that I holding in is the capital of all other prisons"

"The capital prison holds 28 other inmates wearing same fade green outfit, they treated the same as me even worse sometimes, I meet two of inmates who are beside my cell, one is Hiro, a yellow eyes, short blond hair that reaches past the nape of his neck and has freckles across his cheeks, he was a regular farm boy who worked outside the city.

Hiro, in my opinion is simple, but carefree and hospitable boy. And I can't really say about the other inmate, an entirely white looking old man with immaculate beard and has visible wrinkles on his hollow face, from the moment I arrived here, he hadn't spoken a single word, always sitting on the corner beside my cell, gazing at the wall".

"This is Wednesday" Hiro whispered "You never been in Wednesdays, haven't you Mr Shinsuke? Wednesday is for the Wave Chamber, at first it's really hard for you" Hiro assuring Akagi by nodding.

Akagi glaring at him thinking about vaguely warnings that he received, not long after the warning The door opened, two guards walked in,

"Take him to wave's chamber!" officer commanded the others,

Two officers pulled him out of the cell.

"At the time I didn't knew where I was going but then my confusion was clear, when they removed my clothes handcuffed me on the upper ceiling m, straighten my body".

"I was alone at the moment until a small man with silly moustache, arrived from the door,

"Are you my new friend that I about to play?" man asked, putting a square box on the table,

Hearing Akagi's did not answer, he pressed his lips in unknown cause "You are..." he nods in satisfaction "Do you how did I know? Because I can smell your fears"

He glaring at Akagi, meanwhile on their eye exchange the man suddenly withdraw from eye staring "I better get down to business" he opened his tool kit "I am Bob the repairman or AKA the Electrical little man" he pulled out two black rods, when he plugged in, an electric currents jumps from the two poles"

Akagi shakes instantly when he eyed on the massive static currents floating around the two black rods,

"Oh, are you scared looking at those?" Bob amusingly taunts Akagi; he comes closer with two electric rods, Akagi trying desperately to escape "No! No, don't, don't do it" keep begging to him not to do it,

Bob presents the electro rods near Akagi's face explaining him "They say, 'whatever doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.' But when it comes to torture devices, that's pretty much never true. The picana electrical delivers shocks at only 1/1,000 of an amp. It's completely non-lethal, but at 10,000 volts, it's so painful, you wish it were. And since you're a mutant, I say 30,000 volts will definitely help you to remember" he strikes the Rods on Akagi's chest,

"Ahhhhhhhhhh, AAAaaaraggggggghhlmhhhhhh, nooooooooo, ahhhaaahahhhhh!!!!!!!!!!"

The chambers is overwhelming with screaming, as Akagi roaring the lung out, begging him to stop, but didn't help, the currents flowing in his body, more than shaking, he extremely tries to escape from the cuffs, it even breaks his hands for the process but it doesn't succeed.

During Akagi's interrogation, he is constantly thinking about his sins "Why I have to suffer for this, I know I was the one who wrong and the one who should punished" he thought "Was my past deeds was so evil , though I has to suffer so brutally?" from the last thought, he collapse for tiredness.

Bob did not like it when Akagi went unconscious,

He opens the door called the men,

"What is the problem?" the officers comes in asking Bob,

Bob showed Akagi's senseless body "He tired up for the day, maybe you two give him your refreshments and say goodnight, we will proceed tomorrow",

"Good idea, you two take him to the Refreshments room" one officer command the other.

Although Akagi did not fully unconscious, he just collapse, when he heard about refreshments, his mind jumping around everywhere, thinking what could mean.

Two officers hooded him with a heavy cotton made bag and dragged him out of the room.

When dragging stopped, Akagi didn't aware where he was going until they kneel him down, grabbing his neck,

Soon he heard, they unzipped something, later he fells weighty waters pouring down on his head,

Calm Akagi massively shaken when the water smells reached his nose "It's arousing revulsion!" he terrifyingly thought "Slipped through the bags spreading on my head, a strong odor of ammonia fucking my brain, it didn't take me long to find out, the officer is pissing on my head".

"Aragghh, Aragghhhhhh, Ahrrrrrrrr!"" I howled as loud as I could before cotton bag soaking all the salt, urea, and uric acid based toxicities urine onto my face".

After the officer zipped his chain "Leave the cloth on for the night!", he ordered his man,

"I protested right after I heard his command, cotton made bag tightly surround my head, making it breathe only the surrounding piss, and they wanted wear it for whole night", Akagi roared through the bag "Hey! No, take this off, take that cloth on my face, nooooooooo" he tripped over the ground, rapidly struggling from his restraint.

His struggle stopped when he heard sound of the closed gate, Spectres left him in a toilet with a urine filled cloth bag over his head.

"That's not I've wanted" Akagi hopelessly thought "I had living peaceful and stable life although I did not satisfied with all of this happened to me but I was happy and now all I have hoped shallow in the darkness, I don't see anything happily, perhaps I lost it because the stupid decision I made, during my stay I have learned a significant fact about pain. What I learned about pain is, you could wish only one thing: that it should stop. Nothing in the world was so bad as physical pain. In the face of pain there are no heroes"...
