Log Entry 3 ~ 2/1/55
Ok, leaving 2055 has been harder than I thought. I just said goodbye to Brian. We didn't really need to speak, we know each other so well that we knew that if one of us spoke we would both burst into tears and start bawling like babies. Eh, Brian did that anyway so it didn't take long for everyone else to start weeping too. Brian gave us each a note to remember him by. But, we have to wait till we get to '39 until we can read them. He said he has individual "tasks" for us to complete, because he thinks it'll be funny for us to leave our marks in other ways than just appearing for a year in the past then leaving. I'm pretty sure he just wants us to draw dicks on landmarks that he can find later. Nice way to be remembered, drawing penises on beautiful parts of history. Sorry, people one hundred years into the future, we aren't gonna be the hero's you think we are. I'm currently writing this on board of the extra fancy time travel machine. Or, as John's started calling it, the Tardis. Huge nerd, right? Actually, I think it's kinda cute. I really hope Finn doesn't find my logs anytime soon. I will NEVER hear the end of it if he reads that. Moving on, it'll take a longg time to reach '39. I think the time is 2 and a half years. But! Do not fret! I have only been chosen to go on this amazing journey with 14 of the most annoying people on the planet! I'm kidding. Kind of. Still hate Finn. Ok, I'm kidding. For now. We are all currently writing our logs right now, we've been forced to, to show the rest of the world how we are feeling and all that. I don't really love for writing these but maybe it'll be good for me when this tablet will be some of the only good tech around me. The BMH doesn't want to take risks, so we aren't allowed to bring personal items. Don't want to weigh the Tardis down with unnecessary items. Ugh, it's times like this when I realise why Brian is the only person I like who works at BMH. Shoot, I'm almost out of time. We're leaving soon. John put his hand in my shoulder and smiled before slipping into his seat next to mine. By best friend Hannah sat on the other side of me. The seats are facing outwards in a big circle with everything else in a pretty cramped area in the middle. If I'm being honest, I feel like they could have given us nicer accommodations. We are here for nearly 3 years! Apparently it won't feel that long. Uhhh, I don't really believe that but let's stay positive. John's started talking to me about the 'liftoff' process. He's so excited, God it's cute. I'm desperately trying to ignore Finn and Roger giving me raised eyebrows right now. I need to go. It's time to leave.
