The forgotten hero

Kei walks down the street in dirty clothes and matted shoulder length loose curly hair. The crowds part before him afraid of the caramel colored, broad shoulder, homeless kid. As he gazes into the anime and manga stores unknowingly he is being watched by a mysterious man in a black trench coat... "Ahh only got 200¥ today, guess its onigiri again". Kei daily earnings ranged from 500 to 2,000¥ if it was a good day, today was not. As he walked to the convenience mart he dreaded the stares and comments from the employees and customers. As he walked into the store he was regarded by the cashier, he saw there was a sale on onigiri. He got two and a Ramune, a rare treat for him, as he put his stuff on the counter the cashier said "that will be 320¥". WHAT?! the sign said- "the sale has ended' says the cashier with a sneer, grumbling he starts to give up the Ramune a man in a black trench coat says "Don't worry, ill cover it". Once outside Kei thanks the man "Sir thank you I run into that all the time". "Don't worry about it, so where do you live?" askes the man, Kei waves his arms around and says "Everywhere, I was abandoned as a kid I have no home" the man seemed amused at his answer, "what if I could give you the opportunity to have a home,fame and all the wealth you would ever need?". Kei gave the man a shocked then unamused look "Don't joke like that, thank you for the food I need to get going". "To your park bench" the man yelled Kei ran to the man and grabbed his collar "Yes, this is how I live but at least I live" "then how about you consider my offer" said the man. "What do I have to do" inquired Kei "just sign this paper" said the man as he summoned a piece of parchment and a quill with ink."What the f-" "this is a document you have to sign to get your new life" interjected the man as Kei read the paper he realized it was in a new language "I don't know how you did that but what the hell does this say and what is this" "nevermind that are you gonna sign or not" the man said rushing him. Kei pondered the offer and since he didn't think life could get worse, after he signed his name the parchment started to glow and he was soon enveloped in the light he could feel air moving around him.
