As the arch of the foot broke free from the firelight, a blood-red glow suddenly lit up on the head of the pitch-black mecha, then an arm stretched out. When it was just over ten meters away from the unconscious Mu Fan lying on the ground, the entire mecha performed an aerial front flip, its two legs stamping the ground, and kicking up a ring of dust.
When the dust settled, a deep, pitch-black mecha stood silently. The entire mecha body was over six meters tall, with joints at the arches, knees, spine, elbows, shoulders, and neck wrapped in dark red armor, while the rest was pitch black.
A pair of ghostly light blades with cold edges rose from either side of the foot arch. The left leg was covered with inverted armor that turned upwards from the foot arch, and on the other side, the skeletal structure of the pitch-black leg was exposed in fragments.
