Sanyu, Ayumi and the rich woman went inside the apartment and sat down in the little living room. The two security guards stood beside the door alongside with the servant. "Um, would you like some fruits or tea?" Ayumi asked the rich woman. She looked at Ayumi and spoke to herself, 'Who is she? I don't recall her living with Sanyu.' "Tea is fine, thank you," she replied to Ayumi.
"You must be my mother," Sanyu spoke out. Ayumi pauses for a moment as she heard what Sanyu said then continues to pour water into the kettle to make tea. The rich woman smiled, "A child knows their mother best indeed." He lied back on the sofa and spoke back with a little attitude, "So? What do you want?" It seemed as if Sanyu didn't even care one bit of his mother.
Ayumi walked over to the rich woman, "Here's your tea." "Thanks," she replies as she accepted the tea. Sanyu looked at Ayumi then back at his mother, "I don't have time for you to be just sitting around in my apartment like this. Get to the point." She set her tea on the coffee table, "Come back and live with me."
Sanyu raises an eyebrow, "You want me to come back to live with YOU after all these years? After you straight up told me that you didn't want me anymore? That I was dad's son ONLY?" Ayumi had her head down, she felt bad listening. Sanyu's mother only looked at him talk, she waited for him to finish talking before she begins to talk back.
He makes a 1 second laugh with a scoff, "You didn't even come to see dad when he was in the hospital, even when it was his funeral.. how funny of you to come back to me." His mother crossed her legs and began to talk, "I left you to your father years ago, but I've always been watching over you, making sure you're doing well, I've seen you enter the ambulance with your father strapped on the stretcher, seen you cried over the doctor because the surgery didn't go well, secretly went to the funeral to see how things are.. sent you money to help you live.. Sanyu, you're all grown up now, but you should know, that a mother's love will always remain strong."
"You can take your money back, I don't need it. I can earn it myself easily. If a mother's love is true then you would've never left us in the first place, a real mother's love has patience, and is big hearted," Sanyu tells her. She stands up and looks at him seriously, "No matter what! Now that I've become a successful CEO, I want to pay you back, I want to take you back and so I can take care of you again.. love you again. You will live with me."
Ayumi didn't know what to do, she only stood there like a bystander. "Get out," Sanyu tells his mother. "San—" she gets cut off by him. "I don't want to see you again, leave," he tells her. His mother didn't feel like giving up on him, however she decided to leave, "Alright, I'll go." The Security Guards and her servant followed after her leave.
After they left, Sanyu lied on the sofa, he was in some deep thinking. Ayumi sat down on the sofa beside him, "Are you okay?" He removed his hands from his eyes and looked at her, "Don't worry, I'm fine." She hugged him, "If you're not feeling well, I'm here to comfort you." He smiled sadly, "Thanks for being there for me."
Sanyu's mother got in the car and looked at her assistant, "Do a background check on the girl that seems to be living with my son. I have a slight feeling that I don't like her much." Her assistant bowed, "Yes CEO Mira." "Drive back to my office, there's too much going on, I have to find a way to make Sanyu like me again, I miss him too much." They drove back to her office right away.
Sanyu shook the deep thoughts away he was having, "So, Ayumi, what would you like to do together tomorrow?" She thought about it for awhile, "Shall we go shopping?" He slicked his hair back, "Yeah sure, I don't mind it." "So then let's go sleep," she smiled at him. He got up and hugged her, "Let's go then, I'm a bit sleepy anyways." Sanyu then kissed her forehead.
Ayumi was slightly shocked, that one little kiss on the forehead made her heart jump like crazy! She deeply blushed and he softly laughed at her. Together they went in the room. Sanyu laid out the futon and slept on the ground as usual, while Ayumi slept on the bed. "Good night Ayumi," Sanyu closed his eyes. "G-good...night.." she shyly said back to him. He smiled and thought to himself, "She's too cute."
"CEO Mira, we got the background on the girl you told us to check on," her assistant knocked on her door. "Bring me them," she told them. He entered the room and gave her the documents and bowed. She looked at the documents and read them aloud, "Nakamoto Ayumi, born on November 23rd.. height: 5'2" ... weight: 94 has a younger brother.. currently attends the same school as Sanyu, parents divorced not too long ago.." She scanned the rest, "Overall she's seems like an okay girl, good grades and all.. and huh? She's the daughter of Nakamoto Yuki? Seems likes it's the Yuki who was my childhood friend back then."
CEO Mira continued looking at the documents of Ayumi, "Oh? What's this? Attempted murder?"
