Ur didn't dare to try softshell turtle soup again in the future. She needed to spend her day on the freezing lake to calm herself before she returned back to her house. She wanted to bring him to train, but it seemed that he had gone. She didn't feel worried and went to her storehouse since he usually spent his free time there. Entering her storehouse, she saw him and asked with smile, "Bourne, what are you doing?" But her expression changed when she saw the book which was read by Bourne.
"Bourne, what have you read?!"
Bourne looked at Ur and wondered why her tone was as if a parent had found her children reading a porn book which made him helpless.
"It's a spell book. You sure have a dangerous magic book here."
Ur hurriedly took the book from Bourne's hand and asked, "Have you read it?"
"Until the end."
"....."
Ur had a pretty complex expression on her eyes and bent down while staring at his eyes.
"Promise me that you've never used this magic."
Shaking his head, Bourne said, "Never. You know my personality, do you think that I'll use that dangerous magic? It is better for me to use different magic rather than that one."
"It's good." Ur sighed in relief and looked at him with a stern expression. "I'll keep this book. You can't read it again."
"No, let me read it. I want to learn something."
"What are you going to learn with it?!"
Ur was angry when she heard it. She thought that Bourne was going to perform this magic which made her scared.
Iced Shell
It was the magic which he had read earlier. It is a technique that uses the spirit and the physical body of the user to freeze the target into a block of ice. It is virtually unmeltable as it is not made of just typical ice. It channels the user's body into the form of ice, destroying their body in the process. Even though the caster's body has turned into ice, the caster is not "dead" but alive in the form of ice.
It was very cruel magic in his opinion, if someone wasn't being pushed to the limit or being forced to protect their loved one, then he wouldn't think that someone would use this magic. He was wondering who had made this magic since he/she could sacrifice themselves to use this magic.
"I want to perfect this magic so it can return the caster back."
"...'
Hearing his statement, Ur was stunned.
Though Bourne was pretty indifferent about it and didn't think that this magic was something special. Since someone from centuries ago could develop this magic, then he should be able to perfect this magic. The sealing power of this magic was very powerful, but it needed to sacrifice the user. He wanted to see whether he was able to perfect this magic so the caster didn't need to sacrifice themselves by turning themselves into ice to seal the opponent. If he could seal someone using this magic without turning himself into ice then this magic would turn into the strongest seal magic in this world.
Bourne was pretty indifferent, but for Ur, it was something which affected her world view. If the book told her that she needed to sacrifice herself to turn into ice to seal the opponent, should she believe it? Was there no way to solve this problem? Who made such a statement? She felt that it might be possible to refine this Ice Shell further since this magic was being developed by someone. Then this time, it might be perfected by someone and that someone might be her pupil. Thinking about his personality, she knew that he wouldn't do anything dangerous.
"Alright, I'll lend it to you, but don't ever use it alright?"
Even though it might be possible for him to refine this magic further, she didn't want him to try it since if he failed then.....
"Yes, I won't use it."
Unless, he swore, he knew that Ur wouldn't let him to learn this magic. This magic was very powerful, and knew that he needed a long time. He might need his entire life to research it, but he wasn't in hurry after all since he read this book because of curiosity.
This world was very boring, if he didn't do anything then he might fall asleep without notice. Then he might as well use his free time to learn magic since it was beneficial and also pretty interesting.
Ur gave the magic book to Bourne then she also noticed there were also other magic books which she knew wasn't something that he got from her storehouse.
"Where did you get those books?"
Ur took various magic books which were scattered on the table. There were various types which were both interesting and weird at the same time. Thought there was also a useful one. He had told her before that he was going to learn some magic to supplement his "Water", Ice-Make, and Steam magic, and she agreed to it, but somehow she frowned when she saw a weird magic such as snot magic and panties power-up magic.
"You.. are you going to learn those weird magics?"
Ur definily wouldn't allow him to learn such magic.
Bourne looked at Ur with a speechless expression and shook his head. "I received those magic books when I went to town. It's your best friend who has given it to me."
"But why is there a lot of weird magic?!"
"The price is cheap."
"......."
Ur tongue-tied when she heard his reasoning since it was simple and a very strong reason.
"The stronger the magic is the more expensive the magic book is, but those weird magic books are pretty cheap. Even though I might not learn it, I might able to add those properties to my magic."
Hearing his answer, Ur became curious and asked, "Really? Do you think that this snot magic and panties power-up magic is beneficial for your magic?"
"Yes." Bourne nodded and answered eloquently. "For example, snot is very sticky. I might add that property to my water magic which might be able to add sticky property which makes it into very good trap magic."
Ur was surprised and thought that it was possible. It was possible to develop magic, but it was quite hard. However, when there was model template from different magic then it would be easier to develop a new magic. She didn't expect such a weird and cheap magic book would be able to develop into such a thing. "So what about this panties power-up magic? Do you think that it is beneficial for you?" She felt that it was useless, she also didn't want her pupil to wear panties on his head to become stronger.
"It's even simpler. That magic can make us stronger as long as we put panties on our head, then what if we changed the requirement of that magic?"
"Requirement ?"
"Yes, this magic needs panties to power-up then what if I change it with ice armor? Usually, if we create ice armor using Ice-Make then it'll only make our defense become stronger, but if he adds the effect of this "Panties Power-Up" magic then it is possible to make us stronger when we wear ice armor."
"......."
Ur was stunned once again and thought about the possibility of this magic. 'It is possible...' She felt that her view of the world was being turned upside down once again by her pupil. Such perverted and seemingly useless magic could turn into powerful magic which stunned her. She placed back two weird magic books on the table and sighed.
"You really are...."
Ur wanted to praise Bourne's wit, but somehow she felt quite conflicted since those magics were very weird.
"So is it alright?"
"Yeah... just learn it." Ur gave up since her common sense might be overturned once again.
"So Ur, can you help me?"
Ur nodded without hesitation and asked, "So what do you need to learn those magics?"
"Great! Can I borrow your panties? It is pretty hard to see the effect without testing it first."
"......................."
Staring at Bourne's eyes who was full of innocence and curiosity, Ur wondered whether she had raised him in wrong way. Looking at the "Panties Power-Up" magic, she felt that she needed to seal this magic book somewhere.
