The First Paragon, a being who had transcended mortal limits and had risen to amass such an unprecedented power as a pseudo-ascendant, had risen to the very limits of cultivation found herself facing the final heavenly tribulation before she could truly ascend beyond her pseudo-ascendancy and become a full-fledged ascendant.
While undergoing the heavenly tribulation she was confronted by the only other pseudo-ascendant strong enough to challenge her, the Demon Beast Emperor. A beast who had started his life as a lowly common animal who over eons broke the limitations of his bloodline and transcended what was once thought possible for beasts.
The Demon Beast Emperor who had always strived to become insurmountable under heaven saw the heavenly tribulation as an opportunity to finally get rid of the First Paragon. In the midsts, of the final heavenly tribulation, the First Paragon required complete concentration in order to survive ascending.
When the Demon Beast Emperor attacked the First Paragon he caused the First Paragon to become distracted and in the single moment of carelessness was smited by the very heavens themselves.
Unable to hold the might of heaven the First Paragon was incinerated by the sheer strength of the heavenly tribulation. The cultivation of billions of years was wasted in mere moments. Cultivation which had transcended what was once thought possible and rose to a level to challenge those who called falsely propheted themselves as Gods.
As the First Paragon entered the Samsara cycle of rebirth she recounted her memories. The struggles she faced when she was born into slavery. The struggle of earning enough money to eventually buy her freedom. Her late start in cultivation which caused many people to ridicule and abuse her. The first time she entered an immortal sect. The years it took to progress from outer to inner disciple. The false friends who betrayed her on the path of cultivation for their own gains. The death of her beloved master who had assisted her in all her problems. The memories flashed by at a blistering speed until she found herself once again caught up viewing her death.
Sadness struck her as she fully realized she had failed the heavenly tribulation. She had suffered through eons. Yet, it was all for nothing. All the days and nights of constant training, the countless years researching and cultivating for naught.
Her soul began to blur and fade as the samsara cycle attempted to consume her and make her anew. Her soul unwilling to admit defeat fought against the pull from one of the fundamental principles of the universe. The soul of one who dared to challenge heaven, unwavering in the face of absolute rebirth.
Her near almighty soul that she had slowly cultivated over eons fought with unending might. The samsara cycle unable to rebirth the unyielding soul forcefully cast it out. Outside the samsara cycle and into the void beyond the known universe.
The First Paragon quickly found herself flung far past the bounds which she recognized as the known universe. As the First Paragon's hostless soul drifted further and further out, the very principles of the universe began to warp and contort. Eventually far beyond anything thought possible, the principles of time, space, life, and death finally reached their breaking point and fully lost control. Time disappeared, space became both infinite and finite, life and death both ceased.
Through the principle less void, the First Paragon's soul began to wither. Unable to survive in an environment without even the most fundamental principles. She eventually drifted into another universe who had very different yet recognizable principles. Although she was wanted to determine the principles and study them as was her nature, she had more pressing matters. The principles void had damaged her soul rendering it far weaker than it's once pristine state.
Her hostless soul unwilling to fade into nothingness eventually found a world teeming with life. In a dire need to stabilize her soul, she quickly sought refuge within the world. In her descent, she felt a small barrier resisting her entrance. She burned a large remainder of her soul in order to give her the final push necessary in order to get past the resistance and find a host.
Although she had been able to see the essence of life in her soul form prior to forcing her way into the world, she was now unable to sense them as precisely as she once previously could.
The First Paragon felt a very young lifeforce in the vicinity and quickly drifted towards it. Although she had once been above the mortals of her world she still felt that it would be far too cruel to force someone who had too many ties to their world out of their body. In order to limit the damage, she sought out the youngest being in order to avoid pointless pain.
Although damaged, her soul was still vastly more profound and powerful than the lifeform she detected. She made quick work of the soul and began to reform the host in order to suit her soul.
As the host's body began to adapt to the new soul, the First Paragon began to be able to sense the world around her in a more material form.
The First Paragon had made a mistake. The being who she had migrated into was still yet to be born.
Once her soul had settled into the new being she heard a distinct *Ding* in the back of her mind.

Time slowly passed for the First Paragon. Yet to be born she quietly waited. Day after day passed and the message that had appeared in her mind had progressed during the time that she waited.

The First Paragon was planning on using this time to mold her new body through the power of her soul until she noticed that there were several differences between this body and the one she had in her previous life. Due to this discovery and the presence of several new organs, she refrained from altering until discovering more the differences and the world in which she found herself in.
The days turned to months and as the day of her birth arrived the system's alerts kept climbing until eventually, the awaited day arrived.
