This story takes place in a world of superheroes. And with the existence of superheroes, there of course also exists super villains and evil organizations.

As the name implies, the main protagonist is a Combatant. One of the lowest ranking members in an Evil Organization. You know those weak generic looking minions you see in Super Sentai shows? The ones that appear in groups and are easily wiped out by the heroes in the beginning of fights? That's them.

And our MC has the unfortunate fate of becoming one of them. But will he remain in such a position? Or will he rise up among the ranks and eventually become the Leader of the organization? Only time will tell..

In this world, some humans are born with special abilities. They are able to fly through the air, read people's minds or lift things several times their weight. With most families inheriting and passing down one specific ability. Some lucky few may inherit two abilities one from the father, and one from the mother. But not all abilities are useful. Some abilities are limited to things like changing one's hair color, creating weak breezes, or glowing in the dark.

Families with powerful abilities are elevated to the top of society and treated like nobles while the families with weaker abilities are relegated to commoners.
