Chapter 7 - Divinity | Village of the Eternal Forest [6]

It's been 2 years and 9 months since we arrived in this world.

After meeting with the elves three days ago we worked on upgrading our radar immediately. We ended up using telekinetic energy waves to sense everything. The waves are so small to the point you wouldn't notice them unless you were hyper sensitive to energy waves like me. The mute cores surprisingly didn't work against the telekinetic energy. However thanks to this upgrade we were able to find the existence of not one, not two, but three underground civilizations. We also found existence of some sort of ruins, which seems to have a massive creature sleeping near it. When we zoomed in on the map it looked like an overgrown lizard with wings. I wonder what it's intelligence levels are at?

We also found the existence of several animals that seemed invisible to the naked eye. Naturally we upgraded our visors immediately when we realized there were creatures that we couldn't see naturally.

Jordan was happy to start working on nano tech again, I forgot how enthusiastic he was about that kind of stuff. Nevil and Norman have started to work on the metal plants I thought about. I'm not sure why Norman joined Nevil? He said something about using chems to stimulate what kind of metal we want. People confuse me at times.

On the other hand Nora hasn't been leaving me alone since we got back. I don't understand why so I asked Shade about it, he said I'd understand in the future... this confuses me. Anyhow work on the AI has been going splendidly. I finally figured out how to input a personality on the AI. I've left it blank thus far for it to develop on it's own. But I'm happy with how it's turning out so far. From the looks of things I should be done with the AI in 13 short years. Turns out I was being optimistic about the 5 years prediction. Creating a AI is a lot harder than I thought. Maybe it's because I'm making the robot almost human? Like a Humanis. I wonder what I will call the AI when I finish it. We will get to that point eventually.

We decided as a group to trade foods stuffs with the elves in exchange for enchanted tools, weapons, and magical books. Although we don't understand what they have written in the books we believe we will be able to translate them soon. We trade meat and spices with the Elves. Apparently the elves don't have access to a source for the stuff and have been relying on the the fruit from the trees they live on. We aren't actually surprised by this. From what Shade has told us the number of animals in the forest are actually quite small. And the Slimes don't provide substance. Oh yea, we now have one hundred and sixty Slimes lingering around the village. They seem to have evolved to form a natural core to store information. A side effect of me giving some of them that chip huh. It's strange seeing the chip I made turn completely organic. Slimes apparently had a core before, but they weren't capable of remember things, and they couldn't think that much before. However the data chip I gave them made them collectively evolve. The cores can actually be seen now, making them more vulnerable. But they are capable of thought now. I believe the Slimes will start to turn into Humanis soon, the transformation core in most of the Slimes has been getting bigger, just like it did with Shade.

Some more wolves of Shades pack evolved into Humanis. I believe there are only six wolves that haven't evolved yet. One of those being Nora. They can be strange sometimes though. Once they asked me what my status was and when I said it was OK they looked at me strangely. I heard one talking about levels at one point. It's been strange. They are healthy at least according to Jenny. Then again, Jenny's the Lord of Life. So it would be foolish to not trust her to tell us if someone is healthy or not. I need to ask Jerry to check them out though, as Lord of Mind I think he would be a great psychiatrist.
