'Sorry Miss Han XueLing. I may be cold but i don't do contract marriage.'
'Then what kind of marriage do you do? Don't tell me you are interested in love marriage.'
'Yes. I strongly believe political marriage are just trash.'
'So you are telling me that you won't marry me? If so, why wasting my time?'
QingTian was really amused. He was the almighty CEO whom everyone was trying to meet him just for 10 minutes and here was a girl who said not to waste her time. He really wanted to see the expression of Chun Li if he heard this.
XueLing arched her eyebrows and said jokingly, 'Or are you interested in me?'
Putting his hands together on the table, he answered, 'Yes.' with a faint smile at the corner of his lips.
Her eyes widened and the shock was visible on her face. Her face was so adorable. Those twinkling eyes were now so wide and focusing all her attention on him. And he really like her whole attention on him.
Then QingTian noticed, they still haven't ordered anything except for a cup of water for each. He signaled the waiter nearby, asking XueLing, 'What do you want to drink?' 'Ice mocha with whipping cream if possible.'
'Iced mocha with whipping cream and expresso.' The waiter nodded and left to place their order.
'So lets talk about marriage. Why do you need someone to marry you? I am sure you can take care of yourself. You also have two brothers whom are more than capable to take care of you.'
XueLing thought for a few minutes whether to answer him truthfully or not. Deciding it was best not to have secrets between them if they were to get married, 'It is cos of inheritance. There is a resort which is very important to me. Yeye said I can only inherit that if I am married for at least 2 years before 23. If not, resort will be dissolved and disappear forever.'
'So, this is the reason. Then why don't you try dating? Why choose me?'
'Choosing you has no specific reason. It is just convenient. Don't feel insulted. I am just stating the obvious.' XueLing could see his face darkening. But she really was stating the obvious. It would be hard to find someone to marry her if they knew of her status. She continued,
'And dating is not option. I don't date and I don't love. Besides, I can divorce you after 2 years.'
Now QingTian thought if the girl in front of him was insane or not. She just said he was just convenient choice and she would divorce him after 2 years in one breath. But he knew she wasn't joking or pretending. Her face showed indifference to him. When talking about past, he could see the pain in her eyes though it was just a brief moment.
'First thing, I won't divorce you after 2 years, Han XueLing. So you think before we finalized this thing.'
At the moment, the waiter reappeared with their drinks which gave her time to think. XueLing sipped her mocha happily. Anything about coffee could make her happy simply.
'Okay. We can choose not to divorce. But what if there are someone whom you like or love appear in the future? If there are, I will divorce you but not before 2 years. You have to stay devoted to me for at least 2 years.'
QingTian chuckled softly, 'There won't be another one beside you. You would be the only one for me.' He said with such a soft voice that XueLing felt like she was sucked into those fairytale novels. His voice was deep, clean and warm.
'About Su Family....'
'You don't have to worry. I will take care of it.'
'Nope, you are not. We were schemed together, so you don't make all decisions for that.'
'Oh, our Xuer' also want to have fun?' QingTian said mischievously.
XueLing was startled at the word, Xuer'. No one called her in such intimate way.
'Yes. I want a part to decide how their fate will be.'
'Whatever you say go.' He replied smiling. 'So when are we going to register our marriage? What about your brothers?'
'We can do this evening if you are free. We will slowly let them know about this. If I tell them i get married suddenly, they will suspect.'
'Sure. I will pick u up in the evening then.'
'Okay. I will be at my home. By the way, one of your mall's manager contacted me two or three days ago. From Unique mall. Could u tell her to add one condition for my contract?'
'Contract? What contract? Why don't I have knowledge of having Miss Han for contract?'
'Not as Han XueLing, as designer Lizz.' answered XueLing.
When Yun QingTian heard this identity of his wife, he laughed heartily. XueLing was mesmerized by his laugh. This was her first time seeing him laugh so openly. She could even see a small dimple on his face. He looked much younger while he was laughing.
Designer Lizz was a very famous designer who appeared out of nowhere two years ago. Her first piece was worn by a famous runway model for awarding ceremony. The dress was sky blue colored floor length dress wrapping the model stunning figure. There could be seen the detailed design of flowers across the whole dress. That dress made the model get the most fashionable award in that ceremony. Since then, designer Lizz's name was very famous.
Designer Lizz established the brand 'Ange' which means angel in french words. The brand had causal wears and also dresses. However, what the wealthy families' miss and madam were interested in was the two dresses which Lizz personally designed. Every three months, Lizz would design 2 dresses. No matter how much money they offered, Lizz would never design more than two dresses. And those dresses were solely for the ordered customer. The brand would never duplicate or made that design again which made the dress more unique. Among two dresses available, the one was always reserved for the runway model who first wore her piece.
That was the reason why Unique mall tried to contract Lizz for. They were trying to get Lizz's permission to open branch shop in their mall. If they could secure this, Unique would be more popular than the other malls.
'What is the condition you want?'
'Remove Su family's restaurant from Unique and never allow them to open again in the future.'
'They will ask for reasons.'
'You can choose between them and ANGE.' XueLing was sure Yun QingTian would know what to do.
'Of course, I would choose you' he winked.
XueLing was flustered. What she was dealing was total difference what those media said. He was playful and warm. May be he was just pretending. She shrugged.
After meeting XueLing, QingTian went back to his company. During his ride, he told Chun Li to prepare the documents needed for marriage registration. Chun Li was so shocked to find out that his boss was going to marry suddenly. Even more shocking thing was the future lady boss was Han princess.
