Anna's heart rate is speeding while she desperately runs for her life, passing tons of trees in the bare of night. She passes glances back several times to see if it is still following. Fear is pulsing through her veins as she thinks, 'Am I going to get out of here alive?' As she looks back another time, her foot feels a tug and then a feeling of falling into the ground, as she meets her foot to a branch. Anna, who which has attempts several times to pull herself from the branch, which was wrapped around her leg, turns around to face the faceless being that his chasing her. As it comes up to her, she holds her breath, as she embraces death, and the fact she will never see her dad and his can of bug spray. The figure bit her and was met with a sudden shock.
She opened up her eyes and and wiggled her arms as she didn't know what had just happened or where she was. Memories stated flooding back and she remembered that she had just moved in, and was in her new house, in her new bed.
Taking a second to catch her breath, she told her self it was just a dream, and that everything is was just fine. Anna, suddenly flung her head to face the door as she heard the door being opened. She held her breath until she saw her mom enter through the door.
"Honey it's time to get ready for school. Do you have your bag packed?" Her mom asked, look at her in confusion due to the fact that Anna was in cold sweat. It was the beginning of the second semester, in the middle of January, and they had planned their trip accordingly to the first day. Now Anna was not very fond of going to school, but because her mom doesn't want to homeschool, she is stuck to socializing and have to listen to a teacher.
"Yes mom, I packed it before I left our old house. It's just in that closet." She said while pointing to the closet door.
"Okay, we'll be ready in thirty minutes because we are about to leave." Anna's mom said, following with closing her door.
