Hmm... What should I eat today? There's always fish but that's a bit boring, just pick a fish, throw it into the air, then fry it. Desmony contemplated what to have when a boar caught her eyes. That's what I'll eat. Desmony dropped down, snatched the boar, threw it high up into the air letting it die by fall damage. "Very impressive, that bird managed to throw a 25 kg boar high up into the air with ease." Humans! When Desmony heard a human's voice she immediately put up her guard. "Hah, looks like this is a cautious one, I was hoping to talk to it but looks like it won't do that." "Well yeah of course I won't talk to you." "Hm? What's it saying?" Oh right, I forgot humans can't understand us. Crack. The boar that Desmony threw finally landed making tons of bone cracking sounds and blood spilling everywhere. "Oh wow, that must've been a height for this result. Let's try to capture it." WHAT?! HOW DARE YOU!!! Immediately after this a missile headed for her but she dodged it. So this is how we do this huh?
More missiles came but Desmony threw fireballs are them exploding the missiles prematurely while still in the air. "My my, the bird can also control fire!" The human exclaimed with excitement. A scaly figure slowly came into view, as it came closer it's actually an orange lizard-type creature with a long thin tongue, four burly legs with five claws and a flat back. The one odd thing about it was that it had a pair of dark orange bat wings on it's back. "You're confused right? This is Scaly, although he has a bad name he is extremely strong, the most important things are that he is fire resistant and has a very venomous bite. Scaly go incapacitate that bird but don't kill or eat it." Hearing this Scaly charged at Desmony with it's mouth wide open ready to bite Desmony. So predictable. Desmony hurled a giant fire ball into the mouth. Scaly immediately snapped it's mouth shut surprised that Desmony would make a move as almost all the enemies it faced will either dodge or fly over it. Perfect, just the attitude I need. Seeing that Scaly is shocked Desmony charged at Scaly with her blade-like talons and grabbed his neck letting blood flow out of it. "Wow, I didn't expect this, I guess human intervention is needed." As he said that he took out a gray-ish rectangular device and spoke into it. "Fire some tranquilizer darts." As he said that Scaly escaped the grasp of Desmony and attempted to bite Desmony's leg which he got talons to the top of his head. "Ow..." He croaked weakly as blood spurted out of his head. Amateur, he's clearly never fought some creature in this forest. Desmony thought as she gouged out Scaly's eyes while ignoring the darts with no problem whatsoever. "My eyes!" As soon as Desmony struck Scaly's eyes he retracted covering his eyes, when he finally uncovered his eyes they weren't ruby red anymore but instead they were bloody red. "Yeow, fire some of the more potent tranquilizers, also try capturing the bird with chains, we have to at least stop the bird from killing Scaly." Tch, what a coward the human's going to try to control me with chains? Desmony quickly brushed the thought away as she charged at Scaly with her beak pointed at his neck.
At the last second just before she managed to stab Scaly's neck a ball of fur hit her saving Scaly. As Desmony recovered her balance she saw that whatever hit her was a blue-ish grey wolf. "Don't kill my best friend!" The wolf growled circling Desmony. "Hah, of course you would defend that lizard, you creatures have surrendered your bodies and everything just for comfort and safety." A cool silver chain went on Desmony and started pulling back. !!! My throat! More chains then went on her wings, legs, and tail. "So birdy, before we start, are you a girl or a boy?" The human asked. "It's a she!" "Don't bother, humans can't understand what we're saying." "Oh? The bird's a she?" "... How did that human understand what you said?" Desmony asked dumbfounded. "Well you see I made a pact with him, when you make a pact with a human you essentially combine your souls together and so the human can understand what you're saying." The wolf explained. "Well tell your master that these chains will do nothing." Desmony said as she made a fire rose, the metal chains on her immediately started melting into just a blob of molten metal. "Oh jeez, this is going to be hard trying to get you, we need to fire some Class-A tranquilizers in order to subdue her." The human said into the rectangle. "Hey Moon, I'm going to let you fight with your pack now." "Yay! You better watch out bird my pack is not to be trifled with!" "Oh yeah? Well I'm not to be messed around with, even among this cutthroat forest." "Hmph!" Four more wolves that look like Moon rushed up to him.
"Alpha I'm here for orders sir!" Another blue-ish grey wolf 'saluted'. "Ah, the loyalty of wolves to their alphas are quite admirable, I almost feel bad when I'm going to slaughter you all." "How dare you say that! You will regret it!" "Star stop, for this battle you will-" "Yeep!" A fireball was flung at center of where the wolves were. "Hey! What's wrong with you?! Haven't you heard of something called honour?!" "Honour? Don't you human tamed creatures know? There isn't any honour here in the wild, so..." As Desmony trailed off she did her favourite move: Flame storm. The five wolves looked at Desmony in fear. "What's wrong? Didn't you say that I'll regret saying that I'll slaughter you all? What's with the sudden tone change? Well, if you don't run you'll be burned alive now." Desmony finished that sentence by letting all the fireballs that were previously suspended in the air started falling onto places where the wolves once were as they ran away in terror. "Hah, weaklings... Hm?" Desmony looked back to see that Scaly had bitten one of Desmony's legs while she was distracted by the wolves and the next thing she knew she started to lose consciousness.
When Desmony woke up she was in a dimly lit room and found out there were all kinds of metal restrains on her, when she tried to melt the metal lots of white foam came out of the walls and extinguished the fires. Looks like I'm stuck here, great. Desmony thought as her mind drifted off to boredom.
A few hours later two humans came into the room which Desmony named them as human 1 and human 2. Human 1 is a human she'd never seen before while human 2 was the human that captured her. "And last but not least, this is what we call a Blue-flamed Phoenix, it is ten meters tall and has quite the... Hatred towards humans." Human 1 took one look at Desmony and was... Surprised. "Are you sure these restraints are necessary?" Human 1 asked very curious. "Yes it is, as I saw with my own eye she gouged out Scaly's eyes and made my pack of Epic tier Night Wolves cower in fear, it took Scaly's extremely potent venom to subdue her and even then she recovered in a day with seemingly no side effects whatsoever." Human 2 explains pointing at Desmony. "I see, if it could do that I bet it's a very strong legendary monster." Human 1 looked very... Satisfied. "Ah sir about that, when she recovered we didn't put her here right away instead we tested her strength because it was just so extraordinary." Human 1 perked up in curiosity. "Oh? What were the results?" Human 2 looked a bit apprehensive. "Well... The results were so one sided in the bird's favour we put her in the heavenly tier." Human 1 had an exasperated expression. "Isn't that a bit overvalued?" "Oh it is definitely not overvalued, once you see her fight you'll know it's not overvalued." Human 2 said. "Very well, I'll take this one then." "Of course sir, good luck taming it." He said as he walked out after receiving a stack of green papers.
Human 1 slowly started to walk around Desmony inspecting her, after about 3 circles of walking around he stopped in front of Desmony. "So, I don't know if you can understand me but I'll say this just in case you can. My name is Kace and I mean no harm, I'll let you free as soon as I finish with the business I have. My uncle wants to destroy your jungle to make it into a city but I don't like it so we have a bet, if I win the forest stays but if I lose the forest goes, do you understand?" Yes but how should I say that? You obviously don't understand me. Desmony thought as she sighed on the inside. "Ah yeah, I can't understand you... make a short noise if you understand and make a long noise if you don't." Kace said as he took off the restraints on Desmony's beak. "Yeah." Desmony replied. "Great I'll take that as you understand, now currently you're going to be in a facility with other monsters until my uncle finishes building a place for you, I know I said we were going to fight but we're still family and he still cares about me. Now, as we go outside this room please don't set anything on fire." Kace said as he removed everything off Desmony. "Follow me... Uh... I'll just call you Tsunami for your supposedly explosive strength, follow me Tsunami."
When they got out there were lots of looks from other humans and whispering as they walked down a long corridor into a pair of metal doors. "This is your home FOR NOW, don't worry, you'll be out soon." Kace explained as he opened the door for Desmony to go in. I'm sorry dad, but I'll have to work with a human to protect our home. Desmony thought as she walked in.
