I opened my eyes. Everything around me is different colors. Colors are that of greys and blues.
"I was wondering when I'd see you." I heard from behind me.
A beautiful woman with turquoise blue eyes, black hair, and a small crescent moon between her brows stood before me. She looks calm, collected, and serine.
"Hi." I say feeling comfortable with her presence.
"I'm going to get straight to the point. I am Mother Selene. I brought you here to help you on your journey with finding yourself."
I look at her and nod my head.
"You have a long road ahead of you but it's ok because there is a lot to discover and a lot for you to learn. Let's start with what you are."
I perked up at hearing what she said.
"Your parents are that of a werewolf and forest faerie. Your grandmother is the reason you are still alive and keep coming back alive. She gave you a gift that I presented to her for someone who was worthy of it. You have the gift to become any and every creature but you always carry the traits from your parents in every life you come into when you die and come back." She says bombarding all this on me.
"Your mothers wings and your wolf which comes from your dad."
I shake my head and start blurting.
"Wait werewolf and faerie?! How does that even work anatomically? Isn't faeries super-"
She raises her hand and silences me. "You are overthinking this whole thing. Don't give yourself a headache over something that was done before you were born. Hybrids are a thing these days so I'm sure there was a way they found out everything being that I'm standing in front of you." She states with a small laugh following behind.
I stand there feeling morally confused and embarrassed but she makes a point. Trying to understand that was a headache.
"As for your werewolf genes; she's there but being suppressed. Your mate Nathaniel can help you with waking your wolf but you have to put forth the effort. Remember, she's already there; not being created."
"This is a lot to take in." I say slumping down.
"I understand. Try starting with one thing. After all, you have all the time in the world right now. If you ever feel like you're in danger think of here." She says motioning to our surroundings.
"Wait! How can Nathaniel help me when I'm stuck? I killed myself and I severed all my emotional and mate ties. Where am I?" I cry out. She smiles at me with a knowing smile.
"Again, you'll come back alive in a bit. Living for an eternity has its downfalls. For now, when you wake up; try to stay under the radar as best as possible. Change your appearance if you must. And take caution with Fang. He's not the man you think he is."
With that being said, she vanished and I just stayed sitting down. I've never had this experience before. How long will this last? Usually I wake up by now.
I got up and walked around thinking about Nathaniel and suddenly I was standing behind him.
I see his lower back then his butt and cover my eyes with a small squeak. I peak thru my fingers and look again and realize it's the first time I saw him.
He's looking at me being held by Fang while I stare at him.
Did I...did I go back in time?
No! Time travel is impossible! I mean Shadow stopped time but this?!
I hear Fang let out a feral hiss and Nathaniel lets out a low growl.
I walk closer and touch his shoulder thinking that I won't make contact; only I do, and he turns around.
I gasp and pull my hand away quickly.
"Nathaniel." I breath out as he quickly envelopes me in a tight hug.
"If this is a dream don't wake me Mother Selene." He whispers out with a sob.

"....Happiness goes to anger, sadness, bitterness, betrayal, mourning, love, hate, heartbreak, death, trauma, etc. within a blink of an eye. Some people have way too much put on their shoulders and can't handle it. Suicidal thoughts and sometimes acts happen. Unresolved trauma and not getting help will only pile everything up to the point that cutting will either be an outlet or going up the arm to end it. In this case, I wish I never left her side and listened to my gut and stayed. A moment is all it takes for a drastic decision. If you need help please seek out a professional or a trusted friend."
With that being said, Nathaniel walked off the stage and laid a rose on Midnights chest.
She wasn't being buried nor any traditional human way for the dead.
She just floated in a pearly blue aura; white long hair a pale white complexion and her beauty.
She didn't want what was forced upon her. She didn't want the royalty title or the rules with it. She didn't want to fight. She wanted peace within the chaos.
Fang, Shadow, Ari and Nathaniel all were present with Midnights enchanted death.
Nathaniel is the only one who knows she's alive and on a spiritual journey.
She came to him in his mournful sleep and told him. She wants to unlock her full potential and figure out who she is but in her own way. So with that, he went along with it when the others said they felt her die and never corrected them that she's in an enchanted slumber so powerful she resembles the dead.
Fang; however, is hell bent on her still being alive and wants to take her back to his realm in hopes "she'll wake up like last time." He's not wrong but Mother Selene and whoever other deity is making sure to help with the being dead look for Midnight.
As for Angel, she woke up from her coma after a week. She's been doing her best to adjust to not having wings and becoming a werewolf. She asked if her wings will come back but we don't know if they'll grow back. Anyone who knows her; they're sad to how closed off she's become with people she doesn't know or men. She is after all a toddler who went thru something traumatic and the doctors say with some therapy she'll be right back up playing and running around again but I don't know. She did after all die before waking up as a werewolf. As for the game hide and seek; it's a major trigger for her now. She associates it with pain and death and shuts down. As for her hair turning white; she said it was awesome and looks "just like daddy now!"
"Alpha Whiteclaw, we need to talk." Fang says storming over to me.
I looked at him and kept wondering what Midnight saw in him. He's toxic as hell. No matter tho.
"What seems to be the problem?" I address him with a huff of annoyance.
"I want to take Midnight with me back to my realm."
"No. It's out of the question." I say dismissing his idea.
"I-"
"I said no! Is that a word you don't understand? You brought her here. She's my mate and her daughter, or shall I say, OUR daughter, is here and wants to observe and see her own mother. As far as I'm concerned, what use do you have with her being dead?" I state as he starts to fume at my words.
"She's staying here and that's final. I understand that she usually comes back to life but it's been a month and she is cold to the touch and still no heartbeat and on top of that she started doing that blue glow thing and looks like a ghost. If she is still alive and wakes up (as you keep saying) and she wants to leave with you; by all means then you can take her with you. Till then she stays here with me."
I say as I watch his eyes turn fire orange and him run off.
"Don't worry Midnight. I'll keep him away as long as you need me to. Take your time on your journey and I'll be here when you're ready." I say out loud. I know she's near but in a spiritual way.
Lately, shes been coming to me in my dreams. As much as I'd love to sleep to see her all the time; she shows up every now and again and I have a pack to run.
I felt a gentle breeze run through my hair and smiled.
