Midnights POV (continued)
I gasped as Romeo held me tighter letting out a deep and feral growl at the wolf in front of us.
He went tense and rigid as the wolf came closer.
It seemed to be in a daze and then anger flashed in its eyes.
Feeling the tension in the air, Ari stepped forward and before he could utter a word the wolf transformed into a young 6'2 sun kissed tan naked man with white hair and baby blue eyes. He has a chiseled jawbone and sharp cheekbones that could kill. He stood tall and proud as if being naked was the most normal thing in the world. Unintentionally, my eyes roamed lower and I saw he is well defined and toned and has a 6 pack.
As if it wasn't bad enough that I was eye raping him; he just stood there with a smirk on his face while I did it.
I was only brought back to reality when Romeo let another low growl out and held me flush against his body. This not only caused me to snap out of it but also the wolf man; who looked very pissed off.
"Get your hands off my mate." He snarled with a look that could kill.

Fangs POV
I knew this would happen.
I just knew it!
I knew she had three other mates out there but I just wanted to be selfish a little longer and keep her to myself.
I never wanted her to know because her life is already fucked up enough.
I held her tighter and let another growl out.
"M..ma..mate...?" I heard Midnight quiver out.
"Yes my little flower." I heard him softly say with adoration in his eyes.
Little flower...
That's what I used to call her when she was a child.
I was about to retort until I smelled her aroma.
She's getting turned on just by looking at him.
I can feel the heat radiating off her body in waves.
"I...I'm so...sorry..but I already have a mate and a child." She says softly. Her body is trembling for him and I'm jealous because of that but proud she mentioned already having a mate...and a child.
This made his face fall as pain swept across his eyes. But then lust covered his whole face when he caught a whiff of her arousal.
"I'm not hearing this correctly!" Ari exclaimed extending his wings.
"She's your mate? But this is impossible!! Fang I thought you and her are soulmates so how is it she has another mate in front of her??! Weren't we here to just grab her child and leave???!" Ari says aggravated giving our plans away.
I stared at the mutt in front of me and continued to hold Midnight.
"If you already have a mate then where's your mating mark?" He says with another smirk on his face.
SMACK!
His face went hard and his eyes started turning black.
She unintentionally slapped him with her magic. But when he saw the look of shock across her face his eyes softened with understanding and slowly turned back to being blue.
"I'm not gonna repeat myself you leech! Get your hands off my mate!" He said with so much authority.
"No." I said with finalism causing a growl to rip from his throat.
His eyes clouded over and the wolves behind him started to get agitated and a few of them came running full speed towards us snapping their jaws and growling.
Midnight tensed up and screamed an ear piercing scream before she turned around in my arms and shielded me with her beautiful white wings.
"STOP!" She screamed out.
"Don't hurt him!" She said trembling in fear.
I looked down at her and saw a determined look while tears streamed down her face. She was trying to protect me and for that brief moment I smiled and felt loved. I couldn't help it and I kissed the top of her head. Her wings continued to stay wrapped around me in a protective manner and because of that the wolves stopped charging because if they continued they would've hurt their Luna.
"Let me try something." She whispered with a tear stained face. I looked at her and as much as I wanted to say no I couldn't with the look she was giving me. So I did the only thing I could and nodded my head. She smiled at me and kissed me really quick. But I wasn't done yet as I grabbed her face and kissed her as if my life depended on it. I only let her go when she was breathless and her cheeks stained red and heard growls coming from her other mate.
"Alpha she has wings!" One of them said in awe.
She backed away from me slowly while keeping eye contact. She may not bear my mark but I bear hers. And because of that I trust she won't do anything. But...as Ari and that wolf said, she is his mate as well. As much as I want it to bother me it doesn't too much cause I knew it would happen eventually.
She kept taking slow steps backwards while looking at me until she bumped into her other mate; who wrapped his arms around her body so quickly and protectively.
"Mine." He growled out before he sunk his teeth into her neck without a second thought or warning
She let out a scream and by instinct I ran to her but was blocked by the other wolves.
He retracted his canines and she fell limp from exhaustion.
"What have you done!!???" I scream out in horror.
"I marked what is mine." He said in an almost too loving tone that made me sick while he held her bridal style.
Is that how I sound when I'm with her? If so, steak me now. I think to myself.
"But she isn't just yours! She's my soulmate and has been since the day she was born! She doesn't know you! All she was wanting to do was get her daughter! Not get attacked, marked and whatever else is gonna happen!" I say loosing it a bit.
It was at that moment he looked at me and saw me for the first time.
"That mark on your neck has her scent.." Confusion etched on his face even more.
"Child? She has a child here? In werewolf territory?" He asks.
"She has wings just like her." I say and it finally clicked when he looked behind him and saw the child with ink black hair and yellow eyes staring intently this direction with wings too big for her body dragging behind her.
"Her wings only come out when she gets scared." He says softly.
"Please allow me and this jackass to enter your territory. We won't cause any harm." Desperation evident in my voice.
He looked at me long and hard before he turned around completely ignoring my question.
"No."
And just like that I lost Midnight again. But not to an enemy but to another mate.
"By that look on your face, you have a lot of explaining to do Fangie." Ari spat.
