Chapter 6 - Am I that powerful?

"Umm.. Chris it's your turn now." Rain hesitatingly said as she got nervous by both of them.

"Okay." Chris placed her hand on the orb. The orb went shaking violently and glowed brighter and brighter. It was so bright as a sun. After light dispered from the orb it cracked then shattered into pieces. Due to this incident, most of the people inside of the Adventurer's hall went by and shocked by the scene as Rain, Arisa and Chris was.

Rain snapped out and took the card. She almost spat out blood as she saw the card. "Are you a Veteran Adventurer? Because this stats look like one of them. It's so scary. Though you're just level one those job occupation on advanced tier were worthless to you. And judging on how the orb shattered only on those level 50 and above stats." Rain added as she want to make it clear to anyone who's listening to her.

"Oh right i was level 60 so i guess that's why it broke." Chris thought to herself. While keeping a blank expression like a kuudere. She actually didn't know if she were gonna cry or laugh about it. But she was worried about that she need to pay for the damages since she didn't know its price and she will be targeted with various reasons. "Ermm...no I am not a veteran. I just came here to register as an adventurer and nothing else."

"O-okay...th-that's understandable." Rain nervously chuckled about Chris' answer. "Anyways, I can Suggest that you pick the tier 3s. It was higher than advanced job occupation which is tier 2. Although it is already rare to have someone to instantly have that tier since it is for only to someone that has a certain stats for a level 1. But tier 3 it was only a few individuals that could chose it including you but they aren't strong enough to shattered the orb unlike yours." Rain added

"As for the choices you can become anything you want to be ranging from Divine Swordsman, Ninja, Sniper, Magical Sniper, Wizard, Bishop, Mana Manipulator, Guardian, Enchanter,...," She continued to mention the job classes and describing it till."..., and lastly the Invoker , one of the most difficult one to use because we cannot teach you the exact element and type of magic unlike the mages, wizards and even elementalists."

The thing about the Invokers were creating their own magic and has endless possibilities like throwing a fireball, densing the soil, heck even summoning a dragon is possible. Though not everyone can choose this as it requires a high stats and very costly but this is just a first tier and its last tier as there is no above tier or lower tier its a unique job class and so far there's only five who were able to choose this job class including Chris who was new to everything in this world if she chooses it.

"Okay, Choose which job class do you want?" Rain Asked politely.

"Hmmm...It's very hard to decide. After all this will be my jobclass for my entire life even i get to upgrade." Chris thought to himself.

5 minutes of brainstorming she finally decided.

"I want to be an Invoker ms. Rain." Chris said in a serious and manly tone.

"Are you sure about that? You cannot change it after this." Rain said as she want to give Chris a confirmation.

"Yes, I'm sure."

"Very well...Here is your membership card. It records on how many monsters you kill or defeat. And should be the one that shows the skills that you can instantly learn." Rain said as she sighed in disbelief.

"Oh, awesome its just like what I saw when I was playing an RPG game." Chris screamed in her mind as she was excited about it. But after realizing she was disapointed by bit. And forget about it.

"Oh yeah how much for this registration ms. Rain?" Chris appointed as Rain haven't spoken about the bill.

"It is already been paid by Mr. Cardo Bautista. It was your father who will pay the fee." Rain replied as she knew who Mr. Cardo was.

"Right, ummm...Do you know something about him?"

"Yes I do, he was a Legendary Adventurer who was also an Invoker. But speaking of which why do you ask?"

"I- its nothing." Chris chuckled a bit as she was nervous about Rain might identify her gender as she didn't noticed.

"Alright, We look forward to your exploits The Master Swordswoman Arisa Bautista, and The Invoker Chris Bautista. Be strong and protect the world." Rain and her co workers bowed to them as their farewell.

They were outside of the hall when a notification popped up in front of chris.

*ting*

"Oh wow... yes" Chris said in her mind

"Awesome!" Chris murmured happily.

Arisa who heard Chris smiled not just she saw her that she was happy but when looking at Chris right now. She was too cute.

"Arisa let's look for an Inn to stay. Then I'll buy my weapon for tomorrow." Chris knew that she will need a sword as she need to protect herself as attackers can flank them.

"Sure"

Both of them found a nice looking Inn with a size of 4 story house. It was still open as its just late afternoon. Then they went straight the innkeeper.

"Excuse me we want to stay here, ummm..., Is there any rooms left?" Chris asked on her manly voice again.

"Ah yes, a party of two?"

Chris nods in agreement. "How much for a night?"

"It costs 1 silver a night per person. It also includes dinner and a bath which is available all day both for men and women. There is no mixed bath as the policy of this city."

"Awesome, then we'll go for 10 nights please." As Chris don't know if they need to move to another city on a certain level as this city on where they are, are filled with considered weak monsters, but there is still a boss level monsters lurking. It was most likely a leader of a pack or group.

"Then that will be 20 silvers." The innkeeper politely said as she treats her customers fairly well.

Chris nodded again and pulling out a gold coin from her pouch and said "Here is a gold coin and keep the change for your Inn."

"Thank you kid may I know your names?" The lady innkeeper became curious about them.

The two Introduced themselves to the innkeeper and after that they started chatting on about how they become an adventurer and stuff. Five minutes had passed since the Innkeeper gave their keys and chatting them before she was called for something by a merchant.

"The innkeeper is sure is a chatterbox." Arisa said while letting out a sigh.

"Indeed, she was nice though." Chris said as they proceeded into their respective rooms. It was next to each other.

Chris enter to her room and noticing that the room was spacious and the furnitures including the bed was neatly arranged. She lied down to bed as she got tired by walking all day. And before she noticed, she fell asleep.

On the other room Arisa did the same.
