Miyu cleared her throat when she finished. She glanced around and saw that some people were standing with their arms around each other as they sang the song. She was happy that people were happy. When someone else is happy, it automatically makes Miyu happy.
She stood up and bowed, "Thank you."
The people were startled, "Why are you saying thank you. We should be saying thank you! You were wonderful, amazing, fantastic!"
Miyu blushed. She didn't even need to fake it, she was truly, shy, "Well, I just wanted to be polite..."
The praise directing at her sister instead of her was making her fuming inside. She just wanted to slap her sister for being such a stupid, sly fox and stealing everyone's attention away from her.
Kasumi stood up and walked right up to Miyu. She stood right in front of her before smiling sweetly and saying, "You were so good, sister!"
Miyu almost choked on her spit, 'Good? This is the first time she's ever complimented me?'
She looked at Kasumi and then realized what she was doing. She was trying to play the role of a sweet and supporting sister. Well, Miyu isn't going to help her.
Miyu covered her face, pretending to hide a blush that wasn't there, "Thank you, sister. I'm sorry that I outshined your singing..."
Kasumi's face turned red. She thought, 'Did you really think you out shined me?' She kept the words from coming out and instead said through gritted teeth, "It's fine, I'm happy that you actually did! You're coming out of your shell, you seem less shy now!"
Miyu grinned at her and said innocently, "And you seem to have become less mean! This is great for both of us!"
This statement made the crowd begin to whisper. Kasumi was worried this'll spread around, because this cafe was not only popular for the middle and poor class, but also the high class. There could be some lords and ladys or someone related to them here and witnessing this scene!
"What did she mean by 'less mean?' How was she mean?"
"She was mean? She must be a white lotus. She seems so supporting but it looks like a facade."
"Poor girl, seems like her sister is mean to her, and now she's being so nice in front of all these people. I want her to be my sister, I'll show her what a true sister is."

Miyu almost laughed. Kasumi not only told her to give her toys to Hanae, she also told her to give Hanae everything she owns! That's the only reason why she lives in a room excluded from the house, Kasumi told Miyu to give her old room to Hanae for a play area and space for extra clothes!
Miyu pouted, "What about all those other times? Does tearing my hair out count as fair?"
