The Lux is an expensive restaurant owned by the Luthers the very same people I am here to meet.To eat at this restaurant you have to have a reservation, and even after when the real owners of money call, you will be dropped without a thought.
I look around and it's quite catch, screams of wealth. I smirk at this. This location was picked to show off. Haha. Kids.
I had Parker give them a call last night when I got in to arrange a meeting. And this is the best they could come up with. Probably to display their wealth. I do like what I see though. A little bit of management and it will bloom better than this.
Parker approaches the hostess and after exchanging pleasantries she asks us to follow her.
The hostess takes us to a private room. I see Mr Luther seating at the head of the table, with two of his top shareholders by his sides.
which leaves the chair at the rear end. A move of intimidation perhaps. Already working to pull the odds in their favor. I see Parker try to make a move and signal him to hold still.
"Good morning gentlemen I trust you all slept well" I give a smile
Parker pulls out the chair and I seat.
Without waiting for Mr Luther I declare the meeting open, which I see he doesn't like. But I'm done with him now. His men are giving him signals to calm down. Haha, of course they are.
"Now tell me about this business and why you want to sell it to me and for that price non the less "
At this Luther and his cohorts begin pitching the business to me.
"it's a great business, as you can see from the pictures the hotel is still in good shape "
I stare him down and I can see he's beginning to sweat even though the AC is on full blast in here.
"so why sell"
"what?" he looks at me confused.
"if it's in a good shape like you mentioned, why sell"
"oh oh haha it's not yielding as much profit as before that's why. Yes the profit is not much "
Profit. I look at Parker. He reaches into the briefcase and passes me a file. I throw it to them.
One of the shareholders gets up and collect the file looks through it with his hands shaking the pass it to Luther.
"From that information it says you are not lacking in profit rather you are suffering from excess profit."
I pause and look at them "it makes me wonder what will make businessmen as yourselves want to sell out a flourishing business. You can't possibly be suffering from too much money." They gulp and look at themselves.
"Or can you? Anyway enough about that. You are being a bad host. I mean you can't keep the man who's taking over your business hungry "
"oh yes of course not" He rings for the hostess and food is served
I think I am the only one enjoying my meal. I must commend the chef. I don't fail to let Luther know. After the meal I dab my lips to show I was done. They stop also due to their nervousness I bet and the servers clear the table.
"Nice meal. Great service too" I rise from the table "well gentlemen, you have done one great wrong here and that is wasting my time "
Without further wasting my time on this old fools I walk out of the room and out of the restaurant. What did I say about people wasting my time.
"Parker?"
"Yes, Sir"
"I want the Luthers done by night fall. And don't forget to get this restaurant as well as any other legit business they have."
"Consider it done Sir"
The Luthers actually run a great business. Their company is internationally recognized. Dealing in hotels, restaurants and bars. It has also been the cover for most of their shady activities which had been going well but they let it get over their heads and made one too many mistakes.
The hotel they planned to sell to me was one of those. A hotel on the surface, a prostitution ring beneath. Kidnapping, drugging and selling of people both male and female to highest bidders.
Now with the Feds on their necks they looked to sell it to me. If I had signed those documents without checking them up I would have been burnt.
I give it to them they were smart. But they messed with the wrong person. I didn't get to my position being stupid.
I must thank them though after all I didn't lose at all. I came with an interest in one but now I am sure to acquire a lot.
It seems that to continue seating on the highest seat I have to always show these men what I am capable of.
